  1. Well, Trump is actively attempting a fool's errand in attempting to rewrite history...... on many issues. Black history is an integral p/o U.S. history. Slavery was the contentious issue leading to the Civil War. Suppose I should mention Jim Crow and the Civil Rights act of 1964, enacted to end systemic discrimination and segregation in the U.S. - the Civil Rights act targeted Jim Crow. Many U.S. citizens, still alive, endured Jim Crow. The Canadian Indians were crucial to the Canadian fur trade and essential during the French and Indian wars during the 18th century. Suppose the Metis should be mentioned. However, the Canadian indigenous didn't achieve the political impact of the U.S. blacks - until recently, they were invisible to the Canadian (white) politicians. Some have argued that the U.S. blacks are akin to the white man in terms of desire, education, ambition? ............... civil rights protest .......1964. Yeah, Trump is on a fool's errand ........... but then again, Trump only sees himself as representing a minority of Americans. There is NO question that the Indian Residential Schools were cultural genocide. Sanctioned by the Canadian Government and honed by the church. Forget it? Ah, no ............... far too political and getting more so.
  2. u'd likely be wise to hedg😁 ur bets? Nietzsche: God is dead. God: Nietzsche is dead. I think God won this one. 😁
  3. Generally? We don't know do we? That is what makes it so political Cutting to the chase? Necessary, but not in my backyard.
  4. I'm neutral on this ........ really don't care! However, the concerns of communities, real or groomed, are real ........and therefore political The facts are moot. There are still those that believe Jan 6th never happened, the SS murdered Kennedy, Apollo 11 was a hoax and Jews were behind 9/11 ............. suppose I could that the General of 2020 was rigged. πŸ€ͺ When a utility builds infrastructure (delivery) the long-established business model is to socialize the cost across all users? It includes the cost in the rates that are paid by all. Another example would be residential growth – expansion of utility is distributed across the payers. Because DC consume extraordinarily huge amounts of energy new infrastructure is req’d – the untold millions involved in the cost of construction is again, distributed to the ratepayers. The other approach when demand for energy explodes without a corresponding increase in utility supply, is for the utility to raise user rates by engaging in so-called market rates, determined by the supply and demand – akin to the oil commodity. Data centers do recycle the supply that provides cooling – however, that also involves supply infrastructure – the cost is again distributed. The concerns of communities are legit – whether that will have any effect on corrupt government is yet to be determined. Data centers are expanding exponentially. Would it be more advantageous for a community to lean into a 10 thousand acre solar-farm (robbing Ag) or bear the inevitable cost of an energy hog Data Center. Pick ur poison - but tech rolls on. The other concern is that science and by extension technology never stop – international competition is a reality …. and that, by extension becomes a concern re: national security.😨 Another solution might be to build DC in extremely remote areas – space, or Alaska ……… or Kanada, Greenland.😁
  5. I've always wondered what convincing argument Mary used on Joseph, after giving birth, that convinced Joseph she was a virgin😨😁
  6. It's a vindictive prosecution ............. Next! On the other hand 85 mil for one fk seems excessive?
  7. ................ slavery in the U.S. was greatly exaggerated as well. 😧 "They' have an axe to grind - who could blame them.
  8. ................. environmental commando.
  9. ........... the legs is not about Trump .......... it's more about the direction it takes from Trump - totally corrupt. No question that it is a vindictive prosecution .......... brought by the DOJ, no less???? ala: James Comey Letitia James Abrigo Garcia John Bolton Sean Charles Dunn Adam Schiff Lisa Cook John Brennan Jack Smith Andrew Weismann Lisa Monaco .......... to name a few. Banana Republic.
  10. "It's understanding the concerns of people, but at the same time, think about the number of jobs," / that guy. Gaslighting? "Technology is nothing. What's important is that you have a faith in people" / S. Jobs ya think Steve was including big-tech, government hacks, lobbyists? Technology is inevitable, has been forever and will be forever. Although I might not agree with communities, I applaud their voices, protests .......... if for no other reason than the political and corrupt hacks hate it.
  11. ........ military grunt leans center right. The Liberals are in the commissioned ranks - the leaders? 😁
  12. ............ talk of putting them in space. 😁 Unlimited solar energy - ambient cooling? πŸ˜…
  13. I've seen them in Europe. Ghost towns - heavy security. ....... reminds me of rental storage areas on steroids.
  14. Electric utilities are competing for business by offering discounted rates not available to average consumers - leading to utilities charging more to consumers to fund these energy deals. The utilities are in competition with one another for the business.
  15. Lol ………. My mommy did call me kid. Do u still suffer mental trauma from ur mommy labelling u her worst accident.🀣 I suspect the majority of mediocre trolls would critique ur responses harshly, Faux.😁 That said, voluminous, conscious-ignorance, and disingenuous responses can be amusing ......... likely more to those on retirement? Time to come out of the closet, Faux … Lib, or other?😨 Cdn Faux? Indeed.
  16. ................ just making sure ur pay'n attention .........Bill C-2, Strong Borders Act. πŸ˜„
  17. The DC owners negotiate with State gov for special (discounted) energy rates? The shortfall is made up by the tax payer thru higher rates. Very few are employed at DCs ................. basically a bldg of servers.
  18. ..... cliimate change? Aboard a sub with a faulty shi..tt..er! The world is increasingly that sub. But relatively few are going to die due to 'climate change' directly ...... nothing like the millions thru food insecurity, war, disease, pestilence exacerbated by climate change. And then there's the geo-political changes due to the (5) Horsemen. The United States is facing a serious freshwater crisis today, many regions (ag) are experiencing declining water supplies due to overuse, drought and of course climate change. I'm a fatalist ........ but I laugh at those spouting childish and silly conscious-ignorant arguments - on the other hand, few listen to them except to mock.
  19. .......... contrary to political rhetoric, data centers do not create large scale employment, (construction notwithstanding) People are concerned about the incredible demand on energy - the demand is enormous and expect to get more so - enough energy to sustain a 1000000 homes - who pays? U pay! Water for cooling .......... is another concern. All that being said, data center construction is akin to having a dump in ur back yard? Necessary, but not in my backyard? There is little community gain? Technology might be slowed, but it can never be stopped. China doesn't seem to suffer from the peasants concerns.
  20. ........... yeah, Robert Kennedy jr. has been accused of that. 🀣
  21. ..................... to you? What about following the (immigration) law .......... if it's feckless, change it? U don't get to say, 'I don't like this law' so I won't follow it.................. laughable. Birthright citizenship - same thing. Let those feckless bast'ds do their job - get them on the record. The second Trump admin implemented (4) major EOs that relate to the southern border. In combination these four actions effectively closed the southern border to migrants, including those requesting asylum and humanitarian protection. With a trifecta why couldn't Congress craft a statute .......... vice EO? The EO is temporary? And that is what makes it so perfect politically. The truth is that Congress (Trump direction) shot down a bill dealing with Immigration reform before his second term. Don't let a great deal get in the way of a good deal - the proposed Bill, warts and all, was bi-partisan and it would have been a beginning to a debate - there is NO debate now.
  22. ......... lets compromise and just say that the US is not a country of laws? 😁 Pew research showed that 53 percent of US CITIZENS said that the Trump admin was doing, β€˜too much’ on deportations, with over 50 percent disapproving of the presidents approach. A Quinnipiac survey reported that 57 percent of CITIZENS disapproved of how ICE was enforcing immigration laws. What is really astonishing is that Trump is 'underwater' in EVERY category - but u know that.
