You're unable to digest and understand what the facts and realities are.... We've dealt with them for 50 years and will be dealing with them for another 50 years. Throw India in now and at least it gives you cry hards more to chirp about....

I'm thinking your daily goal to find at least one so-called conspiracy.... You do understand that CPP Investments does not take investment guidance from the government...don't you, or does that blow the narrative?
-
It's a good thing your PDS and anything right helps occupy your little mind with imaginations of fake news and conspiracies.

Trump just Effed Carney Royally LOL

Was your point the 'judge rules' or the free healthcare? Maybe I did miss it... -
The point is where it started before you started talking about clocks... 'why are you scared of Poilievre' is old.

Chinese leaders meet Canadian prime minister to cement ties 2011-11-15 23:00 President Hu believed Canadian PM's visit to China would push bilateral relationship to a new level. Hu said the visit, which was the first to China since Harper took office, was of great significance. Premier Wen Jiabao expected Harper's visit to turn a new page for China-Canada relations. Harper agreed with Hu's proposals to enhance bilateral ties, adding his country is to work closely with China to fight against trade protectionism, promote economic growth, strengthen cultural exchanges and multilateral cooperation. Canada is glad to see China's growing influence in international affairs, Harper said, urging both countries to boost trade, energy and environmental cooperation. Stephen Harper calls on Canada to mend ties with India STEVEN CHASESENIOR PARLIAMENTARY REPORTER OTTAWA PUBLISHED JUNE 2, 2025UPDATED JUNE 3, 2025 Conservatives like trading with China and India too.

Seems to be working pretty good, doesn't it.

'why are you scared of Poilievre' is an hour old? It's digital...

They were suing an International airline in a Canadian court. If it was in a US court a US judge would have been ruling on. -
I'll look through multiple channels but for quick hits on what's happening in the world, yes CBC. Rebel News or similar....that off the main stream for you?
-
That's got kind of old, don't you think...
-
What does that timing have to do with anything? Do you really think he's only going to benefit Brookfield companies and not those he met and has invested in from the GS days... You cry hards need to try harder with this one.

In Canada a judge is required in a court of law to preside over and/or rule in wrongful death lawsuits. The US is where lawsuits make babies. I'm sure you've heard 'judge rules' more than a few times...look no further than your president. -
My point was is that he's always a year behind. He should have been talking about that last year instead of complaining about Carney's trips.
-
Not following.... he should be trying to make things happen given he's only in this for the money. Looks to be a bit of a longer game. Lose the China thing... your anti-liberal bias clouds your judgement. They're consistently our second largest trading partner... with 118B last year. We export ~30B.... and I'd have to think the people/jobs that depend and benefit from that trade would be a little pissed if we tried the holier than thou thing again. What are you even talking about.... lowered our standards and increase our trade with the US. Have you not been paying attention to what's been happening this past year. I'm also safely assuming you were singing loud and proud with the other cry hards when Trudeau slapped the 100% EV tariffs on them and they said f*ck you to canola....weren't you. Are you going to say the same thing about India trade, or good with that?
-
It's a big world.... Are you suggesting they should have been more like Poilievre who just now thinks we should deepen our foreign relationships....could have saved a lot of money staying home. Ever wonder why Poilievre always seems to a year behind in what he's espousing?

Canada is just begging to be Annexed
LinkSoul60 replied to paxamericana's topic in Canada / United States Relations
Any idea why they say 'it's under review'.... Is it Carney buying more LMT stock on the dips, or....? -
You conspiracy id*ots always bring up Brookfield, but don't forget about his 13 years with Goldman Sachs. There may not be an equity out there he won't profit from.... If only he was a just a simple landlord like Poiiievre and his wife with a few ETF's things wouldn't be so difficult for you cry hard conservatives. Good to see the deal with China and looking for more to come. Add in an inevitable free trade agreement and further investments by companies in India and things are looking up.... communist and murderous regimes alike.

Or he can just turtle like Poilievre and watch his polling numbers tank. Canada has been involved in the F35 program for the last 30 years and committed to 88 aircraft in 2023. Get out of your bunker every now for fresh air. The stale air depravation is clouding your senses. -
It's not up to the federal government to change any laws or regulations right now. Per the MOU the balls in Smith's court to do the due diligence and summarize by July 1. She needs indigenous partnership buy-in, BC's buy-in, route assessment, private financing, and carbon policy alignment with the pathways project. Good luck... Gather you're of the mindset to say f'ck em all and repeal route and tanker bans regardless of the people that are most impacted... They'll adapt.

I have no idea... I didn't say anything the board of peace nor do I care about it. Can't say I care a lot about the other happenings in the middle East either. I'm only referring to the much needed and decades long kick in the ass Canada needed.
-
So, Harper knew how to handle them while anyone else is out of their league. Sure 'kiddo'.... You conveniently forget what Carney has said about the world and trading relationships we'll embark on..... If this was a conservative government doing the exact same thing with China you'd be doing cartwheels thinking it's the best trade ever negotiated. You're an embarrassment to clowns everywhere...
-
There is none left to find.... you've cornered the market on shit.
-
We (or the world) didn't need Trump but he was a needed kick in the ass. No choice now but to expand our universe while always staying close with the US, which all level of the governments are. Trump's a piece of work but I'm sure Carney is handling him just fine while secretly hoping he has a jammer. They'll figure something out, shake on it, Trump will go on another tirade, and then all will fine again. It's dramatic right now and has fundamentally changed but we'll be those fast friends soon enough.

We've been trading with China for over 50 years and they've been investing in Canada for over 30. Canadian's don't have a problem with this deal. Poll I saw was something like 65% thought it was good and 22% thought it was bad. It's not suddenly bad to deal with China because a liberal signed this latest agreement. We should hear more about his India visit pretty soon. Are you okay to do more trade with them?
