  1. I'm sure they have been by the experts like RFKjr, sure. Vaccines save lives, including the covid vaccine. That's fact.
  2. Don't worry little man, It's everyone else that's a child and you're the only grown up in the room.... So maybe try looking at this way.... If a tariff of 25% is applied to a 'widget' that costs $100 that means the American based importer of that 'widget' now pays $125 compared to the $100 they paid previously. Now that they've paid the additional $25 that will not be coming out of their profitability, they will pass that on to the supply chain be it a distributor and/or final seller until it gets to you who will be paying $25 more for the 'widget' than you did previously. It's not that hard to understand is it DF? You're an angry little dude aren't you. Can't help but take childish shots at anyone who doesn't agree with your flawed so-called logic in this subject, and pretty much every other. An angry little fool...
  3. Climate change is man made and unequivocal. Not much more to be said beyond that....
  4. The "china' virus Injecting bleach to make it go away Vaccines don't work Only ~1.2M US deaths from covid Only ~60K Canadian deaths from covid Only ~7M world wide deaths from covid Another fool who lets someone think for them. Try thinking for yourself....
  5. The thread is Poilievre is back, but the fact is that Canadian voters say he's not... other than of course the sham of going to buttluck AB to get a seat in the house.
  6. Try reading and comprehending what you do read...
  7. He is where this generally started.... drill baby drill, clean coal (maybe the biggest laugh ever), ugly windmills that kill birds, solar panels that doesn't work when the suns not out, etc, etc.... A bunch of sh*t from a sh*tty president that a bunch of fools have taken the narrative and ran with it.
  8. Again, you need to find a new act... Your comments of tariffs go against your thread title of manufacturing coming back. Can you not see or understand what you're saying? Obviously not.... And no, the 'world' is not de-globalizing, the US is. The world in fact is expanding trade relationships with each other so they will have less exposure to the US and it's unreliable government. You probably want to keep working on your research reading comprehension.... The US has ~4.2% unemployment and a significant labor shortage.
  9. You were also complaining of the 'authoritarian' measures in NS and NB because of tinder dry forests. I go there because you and many others who have chose to go to the far right side and believe that most things now are anti-government, anti-science, and anti-'woke'. Same general Trump-like comments that have been the rallying cries for your group for the last 10 years. That's why.
  10. Love the daily moral victories for Canada's perpetual second place party. Your graph aside and from same site, the bottom line from this is; So What? In a tight race where the Conservative and Liberal parties are statistically neck-and-neck, the question of leadership character could play a defining role. Voters aren’t just asking who has the better policy, they’re asking who they trust to steer the country through a moment defined by volatility, high stakes diplomacy, and shifting economic terrain. Pierre Poilievre’s strength continues to lie in mobilizing his base and speaking to a sense of urgency and dissatisfaction. But the data here reveal the limits of that strategy: his brand is not yet aligned with the broader public’s expectations of a Prime Minister. And his more confrontational political style, while appealing to core supporters, may be holding him back among those who value calm, collaboration, and institutional trust. Mark Carney, on the other hand, benefits from being perceived as measured and policy-driven. His perceived temperament matches what more Canadians are looking for right now, especially as his government navigates complex negotiations with the United States and continues to respond to global trade turbulence stirred up by Donald Trump. Canadians are not vague or passive about what they want in a leader. They want someone who puts the country first, understands their challenges, and brings a clear, steady hand. Right now, Mark Carney is meeting those expectations better than Pierre Poilievre, not just with his own base, but with the people in the middle who will decide future elections. These numbers reinforce the challenge Poilievre faces in broadening his appeal. He’s not far off in raw vote numbers, but he trails on the stuff that defines prime ministerial leadership in the minds of most Canadians. That doesn’t mean the gap can’t close, but it may require a recalibration of tone and substance or a change in the competitive landscape (a rising NDP and BQ). As Canadians enter the second half of 2025, most are not demanding radical reinvention. They’re asking for stability, empathy, and competence. The question isn’t just whether voters are satisfied with government performance at this point; it’s whether they see a leader who matches the moment. Carney’s calm, technocratic style fits well with a public mood that prizes steadiness over spectacle. For Poilievre, the challenge isn’t enthusiasm, it’s expansion. Unless he can reshape how Canadians see him on the traits they value most, the path to victory will depend less on how frustrated people are with the status quo, and more on whether they believe the alternative is truly ready to lead. Face the fact that Poilievre is just not likeable. It's no more complicated than that.
  11. How sad it must be- believing that scientists, scholars, historians, economists, and journalists have devoted their entire lives to deceiving you, while a reality TV star with decades of fraud and exhaustively documented lying is your only beacon of truth and honesty. -Neil DeGrasse Tyson
  12. Great observation that Trump wants to manufacturing to come back to the US (which won't happen). So in your only logical comment of 'Obviously longterm manufacturing will move to where it is lowest cost.'.... you mean only short term manufacturing is coming back? You win the foolish comment of the week award 🏆 Get a new act....
  13. Says the angry little man who can't help but embarrass himself every time he talks.... For what it's worth, stay away from any mention of brains and intellect... You're not qualified to talk.
  14. 'Obviously longterm manufacturing will move to where it is lowest cost'.... You're catching on. Well done...
  15. Reading through this thread and laughing at you. You're really that oblivious to tariffs.... wow, and naturally have to resort to being an angry little man when you're getting schooled. Couldn't help but notice this comment of yours.... Am I to guess you'd say that if Poilievre was PM we'd be the only country to have negotiated no tariffs with Trump? Too funny... you're complimentary of Trump and his goal but blame Carney for everything Trump. Just a partisan hack....
  16. You struggle with geography.... Brampton or Etobicoke are not 'quite literally across the lake' from Windsor, they're a ~3 hour drive on the 401. Across the lake is New York. So, in whatever you're trying to rationalize you're agruing against that your own thread title 'US Manufacturing is coming back! Trump destroy critics!'. Well done... And for what it's worth, vehicle components cross the Can/US/Mex borders in some cases multiple times before the final assembly.
  17. No blanks.... You revere your military personnel except those who have served your Air Force for 15 to 18 years because Trump said so. That's all you got 😂
  18. You're pointing out nothing....which is why beyond this soon to be over back and forth I ignore you. As you're brushing up on reading comprehension and geography, maybe do a word search to see where Canada is mentioned in the article.
  19. You should learn how to read....or at least brush up on your geography. Belvedere, IL is in the US. Always has been.
  20. Another company telling Trump thanks but no thanks....we like our supply chain and investments just the way they are 🖕 Stellantis bringing back the Jeep Cherokee Aug. 22, 2025 9:48 AM ETStellantis N.V. (STLA) StockGM, TM, HMCBy: Amy Thielen, SA News Editor 5 Share Save Play(2min) Comments (4) Stellantis (NYSE:STLA) is reviving the Jeep Cherokee with added features and a turbo-four hybrid powertrain, aiming to reignite sales and strengthen its position in the U.S. SUV market. “This is the biggest segment in the United States, and bringing this back into our portfolio is a perfect fit between the Compass and the Grand Cherokee,” Jeep CEO Bob Broderdorf said in an interview Friday morning on CNBC, adding that the decision to discontinue the Cherokee in 2023 was “obviously one of the largest misses from our sales decline.” Former CEO Carlos Tavares shelved the Jeep Cherokee in 2023 as part of a cost-cutting initiative and to free up resources for EV production. Prior to the company’s decision to idle Cherokee production, sales of the vehicle were down ~61% for the first half of 2022. But Stellantis (NYSE:STLA) is hoping the new Jeep will rekindle demand for the once iconic SUV with a new 1.6-liter turbo-four hybrid powertrain, 500 mile range on a single tank of gas, and a “technology-filled” interior that includes Stellantis’ new Connect One service package. The new model also has more interior and cargo space. With a starting sticker price of $35,000, Stellantis (NYSE:STLA) has priced the Jeep Cherokee to compete with popular SUVs like the Honda (HMC) CR-V EX, Buick (GM) SUV lineup, and Toyota (TM) RAV4. However, the vehicle will be made at Stellantis' (STLA) Toluca, Mexico facility as a result of the closure of its prior home in Belvedere, Illinois, making the car liable for import taxes into the U.S.
  21. What a fool... A mindless and funny fool, but a fool none the less 😂
  22. Wasn't last November really about the cost of living and immigration....sure it was. So you're obviously good with telling people who have served your military for 15 to 18 years to FO because Trump has made a big deal of this for you minions to hang on to.... What fools 😂
  23. Fair point... 😂 Top 5 is a given. I think he's a strong contender for THE dumbest...
  24. You got jack slit Deluge.... as usual. No counter points, just the typical Maga sheep narrative
  25. Why...because you don't like their sexual orientation? They've served your country for 15 to 18 years....that doesn't count for anything?
