Donalds cognitive decline quickening

No one factchecks him to his face. They just let him 'weave' his lies, boasts and accustions ad nauseum. And oh, yeah, the right went easy on Obama... I never said he was in cognitive decline. I just said he's full of shit. -

Yeah, Blah Blah Blah... I remember people saying the same thing when I was kid. And I'm an old geezer. "In 1970, the average income of a census family was $9,600." "In 2024, average household income around $106,300." Damn immigrants! -

Ther's a big difference between MOUs and trade deals. Trump just threatened South Korea for not passing their MOU in parliament. And all those MOUs came with higher tariffs. Total BULLSH!T! -

Research indicates that human intellectual output and cognitive performance often reach a peak around age 35, entering a "hump-shaped curve" where performance increases through early adulthood, stabilizes, and then begins a gradual decline around age 45. Visual Artists: Prolific output for painters and visual artists often peaks around age 35, where they hit a sweet spot of fresh creativity and refined technique. Musicians: For musicians, particularly in improvisational or performance-driven genres, peak creative output often hits around age 36. While the average life expectancy at birth in the 19th century was low—generally between 30 and 40 years due to high infant and child mortality—educated, upper-class, or elite individuals who survived childhood lived much longer. For this demographic, it was not uncommon to live into their 60s, 70s, or even 80s. Educated or elite individuals in the Renaissance (e.g., scholars, artists, merchants) who survived childhood often lived to be 50–70 years old. While overall life expectancy at birth was low (roughly 30–40 years) due to high infant mortality, adults in this class benefited from better nutrition and sanitation, frequently living into their 60s -

So you're saying conservatives can enact liberal policies. Good for them. But then why do you guys call all liberals Leftards and traitors... or worse? I was arguing about definitions and the false dichotomy implied. -

OK, but I'm still not buying it. If you're all about conserving the past you're conserving the bad with the good. We used to call the Progressive Conservatives the Forward- backwards party. Sounds like you want to have it both ways, while at the same time implying liberals don't want to keep the good parts of tradition and policy. If I was rich and powerful I might want to keep things just as they are, too. That's a feudal mentality that puts brakes on upward mobility. But what is he saying? A litany of lies, bigotry, exaggerations, boasts... And nobody call him on any of them. Speaking with conviction means nothing if you're wrong. He's a narcissist who loves to have people hanging on his every word. This emperor has no clothes! -

You should do some research on that. The only thing that definitely seems to fall off with aging is creativity. Most (but not all) of the great works of thought and art were accomplished by age 35. Other aspects of intelligence and aging are very individual. -

noun noun: chivalry "the medieval knightly system with its religious, moral, and social code." So the original meaning implies a Feudal system: Royalty, their Knights and armies, Church, and Serfs. So you and I and almost everyone we know are Serfs? noun noun: chivalry "the combination of qualities expected of an ideal knight, especially courage, honor, courtesy, justice, and a readiness to help the weak." So liberals can't or don't adhere to those qualities? "a readiness to help the weak." Not American conservatives. -

The West is already deeply invested in trade with China. That started long before Trump and grows as China grows. Even US-China trade increased last year. All this tariff and political sh!t will only improve when Trump is gone or rendered impotent. -

Except NOBODY can negotiate with a m0ronic toddler. Post-Trump some normalcy will return. Of course the US will always be our biggest trade partner. That's no reason for us not to diversify. -

Coupled with our huge geography. We need to get to 100 million, but we all know the problems in getting there. Very little culture clash in Canada. It's mostly an imaginary problem conjured up by the right to inflame their base. No. Immigrants have more kids. It's an inverse correlation. Richer countries have lower birth rates. -
Only Trump is eroding anything. American citizens and American companies want things back as they were between us. Not to mention the hypocrisy: How dare Doug Ford take out a truthful ad and "interfere in American politics" And: We've always traded with China and the US. And we've got just as many 'friends' around the world as we always hd. And: https://ustr.gov/countries-regions/china-mongolia-taiwan/peoples-republic-china "U.S. goods exports to China in 2024 were $143.2 billion, down 3.0 percent ($4.4 billion) from 2023. U.S. goods imports from China in 2024 totaled $438.7 billion, up 2.7 percent ($11.5 billion) from 2023." And: Trump will TACO again. Cry me a Phucking river!

Orange man of European descent to save Europe?
Barquentine replied to paxamericana's topic in The Rest of the World
No doubt. The doughboys stayed out of ww2 while Europe was being destroyed. And: "The United States provided massive financial and material support to Britain during WWII, primarily through the Lend-Lease program (1941–1945), which supplied $31.4 billion (roughly $500+ billion today) in aid, mostly free of charge. A separate $3.75 billion postwar loan in 1946 finalized the debt, which Britain finished repaying in 2006." And the US was in a postion to set the terms for the New World Order which has been enriching them to this day. But the point was who 'won' the war, not what happened after. Russia had a HUGE part in defeating Germany. -

You should cite the statistics that prove that. Or let's just be ignorant and bring back polio, smallpox and all those other things that kill and maim people. “Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.” ― Martin Luther King Jr. -
