  1. The danger to Canada is not Justin Trudeau, but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him being Prime Minister. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of a Trudeau Liberal government than to restore the common sense and good judgment of a depraved electorate willing to elect such a man and his party. The problem is much deeper and more serious than Trudeau who is merely a symptom of Canada’s sickness. Blaming the prince of fools should not blind one to the vast confederacy of fools that made him prince. The country can survive Trudeau who is after all merely a fool. It can not survive the fools that willingly elected his party to govern.
  2. Why? Statics clearly indicate "criminal types" and sadly race is a big part of it. Don't like racial profiling then perhaps your "race" should collectively look in the mirror and address the issue rather than continually pointing an accusatory self pity finger.
  3. This is just a result of our overpopulated society. People in general are corrupt, untrustworthy and indoctrinated to believe in an innate sense of entitlement. In small rural communities the opportunities to abuse the systems are limited. In large overpopulated urban centers the opportunities are limitless and if something can be abused it will be! Don't like receipt checks? Go through the cashier or order delivery. Shoplifting is theft and as long as our ludicrous judicial system focuses on criminal "rights" rather than "property" rights I have little sympathy for those who believe receipt checks are an invasion of their rights.
  4. As much as I rejoice that every generation has begun to see Turdo for the hypocritical, entitled mental midget he is. I would be much happier if people acknowledged that he is simply a figure head. Its the entire liberal socialist mindset that has to be run out of office.
  5. Ah the joys of citizenship. You get to choose which government picks your pocket!
  6. The entire EV farce!
  7. Perhaps members can help resolve a discussion I had with a enthusiastic supporter of the Liberals save the world agenda. Can anyone give an example of a Liberal green initiative that doesn't involve party members or friends making a lot of money? Can you think of a single initiative that would cost party members or their friends money? My own opinion, Liberal green policy has nothing to do with the environment but is an effort to reorganize the economy to make themselves an obscene amount of money.
  8. Perhaps but BC and Ontario also lead the country in the purchase of ICE's. In their mad rush to promote EV's federal and provincial governments consistently fail to acknowledge that battery based EV's are an environmental disaster only perceived as green because of their low impact at point of use. The cars are approximately 30% heavier, which effects road and tire wear requiring frequent replacement. The heavy metals in EV's are highly toxic and the recycling infrastructure virtually non-existent. Batteries store energy they don't create it so we still have to generate and distribute all that electricity and in Canada that's primarily done by generating stations running on natural gas. Direct powered EV's are practical only for large cities and repeatable routes. Public transport and trains are good candidates but Canada is a country of space and distances. Even if we ignore the horrendous environmental costs of EV's the simple truth is there impractical and only favored by politicians with a financial interest in the technology. If the federal liberals really want to save the planet they should ban all plastic consumer packaging. Lets bring back paper and glass both of which are 100% recyclable and more importantly environmentally inert.
  9. LOL!! The exact opposite my friend. EV's only appear green because of their relatively low impact at point of use. The environmental infrastructure costs, damages are huge. EV's are an environmental disaster magnitudes greater than plastics. A hydrogen vehicle you could convince to buy, an electric one, never.
  10. No surprise there. The liberal global socialist ideology has no respect for contrary opinions. Those that advocate to the contrary are clearly, misanthropic, selfish, greedy racist's and should be ignored.
  11. Nobody is persecuted by virtually every peoples on the planet for no reason, particularly not for that long. Hate is exhausting and can not be maintained without an injection of fresh reasons. Israel's current response to the Hamas attack not only reignited that disgust, hatred but has created another generation of anti-Semites.
  12. Thank you but EV's are an environmental disaster waiting to happen. Worse even than plastics. I personally would gladly purchase a hydrogen powered vehicle but I will never own an EV.
  13. Unfortunately I suspect that would make matters even worse. We already have a socialist government whose focus on, equity, compassion, diversity and reconciliation created the current mess. These female characteristics are essential to a family environment, but disastrous when applied to society at large. In humans long history there is not a single example of a successful matriarchy and those that have managed to survive all stagnated at a stone age level. I suspect that history will record the the decline of western civilization began with women getting the vote.
  14. Did you miss the fact that historically Jews have earned much of the animosity directed against them?
  15. Thank you. You've just reiterated my point. Schools are pushing a government narrative promoted by special interest groups. I'm not paying to have my kids indoctrinated. I'm paying schools to teach my kids critical thinking and analysis skills, how to think for themselves and be self sufficient. The entire education system seems to be geared towards producing obedient tax cows. You want a holocaust remembrance day? Then lets also hear about the millions Stalin and Mau starved and butchered. How the Khmer Rouge butchered millions. You want to educate students about mans atrocities then do it properly not just promote the social political agenda of one special interest group.
  16. I find it very interesting that Israeli tactics closely mirror the Nazi's in countries that had formally surrendered to them. What we call freedom fighters, by virtue of having won the war, they called, with some justification terrorists. The Germans too tried assassination, mass forced deportation and the installation of settlers.
  17. Of course it does. Raise any of these topics in a school with a contrary opinion and you are shouted down, punished (if your a teacher), warned if your a student. My eldest son had the gall to publicly suggest that his high school had no right to make his graduation contingent upon a "holocaust" assembly participation. He was suspended for three days. The school only relented after I threatened legal action.
  18. You do realize that the "First Immigrants" entire argument is the ultimate colonist credo... "We were here first". It's the same tired excuse used by the francophones in Quebec. We were here first, they weren't, so everyone should speak French!
  19. I have several. Why are tax dollars being used to promote the social, political agenda of special interest groups, LGBT? If that is policy than why is not the MADD flag flying one month or perhaps the Ukrainian the next. Why are schools spending thousands of dollars for "inclusive" play grounds. Playgrounds are to allow children to "blow of steam" and exercise young bodies. Physically handicapped children are unable to do so and "dumbing down" playgrounds does the majority of students a disservice while providing very little benefit to the handicapped. The "woke" indoctrination of primary school age children is totally unacceptable. Public schools in BC often have a list of "human rights" posted on the entrance wall. This list includes, clean drinking water, free education, medical care and respect to name just a few. My question to the school board as to when they had begun to advocate slavery was met with shocked silence. I explained that forcing an individual to provide time, effort and money to provide free goods and services for others was the definition of slavery. I then raised the previous points and was hysterically lectured on the "social contract" before being ejected from the meeting.
  20. Canada, indeed the world is not "sliding" into antisemitism, it's always been there. What no one wants to address is that historically Jews have earned much of the animosity aimed at them. Historically Jews have always been amongst the better educated peoples. This resulted in Jews often holding positions of substantial influence in the earliest kingdoms. Jews were often that kingdoms exchequer and understandably the masses of poor people had little sympathy for tax collectors. Jewish intellectuals, were and are still often the harbingers of social change. Never popular with the ruling elite or masses when social change erupts into violence and chaos. Jewish banking houses financed many of the armies that ravaged Europe for centuries. It was the Dutch Jews who played a large part in financing the slave trade. Then there's the Jewish attitude. Jews are the only people who can bring a litany of woes to an everyday conversation and the continual accusatory self pity party gets very tiring. There self bestowed title of "Gods chosen people" too closely parallels the "master race" for many peoples and it too, often expresses itself in acts of condescending arrogance and cruelty. The Jews wailing of "two thousand years of persecution" doesn't seem to have taught them any compassion given current events. Jews, as individuals, are often loving, gregarious and generous. As a people not so much.
  21. You need ask? I pay taxes on my earnings. I pay taxes when I buy something. I pay taxes on things I'm forced to buy by government legislation. I pay taxes on the things I own and paid for with taxed monies. I pay taxes on money I earn by wisely investing monies I already paid taxes on. My taxed dollars are not invested in this country but given carte blanch to the global "community". I have politicians with two or more homes, two or more cars, vacation properties and every recreational toy imaginable jet setting around the world on my tax dollars insisting that it is my selfishness that is the root of all social and environmental "problems". Politicians whose net worth mysteriously explodes far beyond their already outrageous salary after election. Russian oligarchs can only envy Canadian politicians!
  22. There is absolutely no free speech Canada's education system period. Anything opinion contrary to "diversity, inclusion and reconciliation" is branded "hate speech" or "offensive" and ruthlessly prosecuted. Offensive being something that they don't want to hear. Interesting that "their" offensive sensibilities carry such weight while mine are merely "racists' rants" and ignored.
  23. The Liberals in particular have always seen themselves a global socialists. The parties official colors are no accident. To the liberals Canadians are merely the pocket to fund that agenda. They will support Canadians only to the degree that assures a continuous revenue stream. They have no interest what so ever in Canadians "improving" their situation.
  24. I will be watching this closely to see how Canada's small business owners react. Personally I'm not surprised by this "new" Liberal strategy which basically boils down to penalizing those smart enough to wisely invest "after tax dollars". This is just another example of the Liberals rapacious need for monies to squander.
  25. Personally I find the "First Nations" moniker not only offensive but laughable. Despite what "natives" would have us believe they did not spring from the ground like the rocks and tree's but immigrated here like everyone else. Call them "First Immigrants". Nation? A loose confederation of peoples with no common language, in most cases no written language, no anthropological achievement beyond existence whose "cultures" stagnated at a stone age level is not a "nation". I'm sick of governments pandering to the whining's of people saying we "stole" their land. Firstly, nothing was stolen. The monies paid to "native" groups over the years has bought this country 10x over. Second, the land wasn't theirs to begin with! Except for small area's there is no proof of residency. No, a yearly fishing or hunting trip to a particular area doesn't convey ownership. If it did my family should claim much of Northern Ontario and the Florida keys not to mention the travel corridors used! Except for small area's they can't demonstrate stewardship, the land was not cared for, improved, worked: it lay fallow. Finally, not to put too fine a point on it, but they were unable to defend a claim of ownership. The whole thing reeks of sour grapes. Now seeing the wealth available from the land various tribes are lining up to scream "mine". Why the courts humor these claims is disgusting. I might be able to entertain "native" land claims if they paid taxes like everyone else but no, they want autonomy. Last time I checked autonomy implies, self government and sufficiency. So why are we paying for everything? Why are native social issues our problem? It's time the government started treating "native" groups like the spoiled children they behave as!
