  1. You are in a thread talking about the why you now can't see... There are always concerns, that alone doesn't justify breaking the law to impact others... AND my point continues to be, if that if you are going to support breaking the law to impact others, don't be surprised when those others respond. Don't act appalled that someone acted in self-defense when they are surrounded and blocked in by protestors, with one of them threatening them while armed.
  2. A big truck driving through a crowded area makes killing much easier and cleaner. You can ride safely inside in the air conditioning and never get any blood on you either. I am aware of the stupid lawsuit by Mexico. It is absurd. Its the same dumb arguments liberals try to push here to go after gun companies because we have the 2nd Amendment and they can't beat that.
  3. Sigh... clearly I did not only post my opinion here. Fact I already offered: Staffer created this Fact I already offered: It was a generic newspaper background Fact: The "Nazi language" was some vague headline almost blurred out in the background of a generic WWII era newspaper where people could overlay their own headlines on top of it. Fact: It was not a "truth" it was some goofy ad spot posted on truth and the language used did not parrot Hitler, it was an almost blurred out background to a generic WWII Newspaper where you can add your own headline to it.
  4. LOL, it is comical how unrelenting you are in not admitting the obvious. The voter was responsible for putting the ballot into the "machine" properly and aligning it properly. The voter was responsible for picking up that punch and pushing it all the way through the ballot. The simple fact here is that at the end of the day, it was the voter's responsibility to ensure a handheld hole punch actually created a hole in the ballot to make their choice. No, you just keep saying I am wrong. Where? How? Where were the instructions that told voters how to stand upright and then walk on two legs? Where were they? OMG!?!?!?! How did they know how to walk without guidance on how to walk?! I don't have to "prove it" that if you are given a ballot to vote for someone and you turn in the ballot without ensuring that it was marked correctly, then that is your fault. The guidance on the "machine" did instruct them to ensure they pushed down through the ballot as well. I already provided you a picture of this. The vast majority of people voted just fine. We are talking about a very small percentage of votes that were not clearly marked. The fact that the technology at the time produced an opportunity for people to be dumb, doesn't change the fact that those dumb people turned in an incomplete ballot. It didn't count because of that. The votes that did count show that Bush won. Gore Lost. The same thing would happen if you mail your ballot to china instead of the election office... it isn't going to count. If you forget to mail your ballot and leave it laying on the floor of your car... it is not going to count. If you didn't clearly mark who you were voting for on your paper ballot that you mail in... it is not going to count. No, the machines were not great, confusing, which led to issues with voters not clearly marking their ballots. Just as if people don't mail their ballots in correctly, or if people don't mark their paper ballots correctly, or if people choose the wrong person on an electronic machine and then don't review it before hitting submit... Gore lost. The people who correctly marked their ballots had their votes counted and recounted. Gore lost. No, dumb people turned in ballots without checking they were properly marked. The Machines made this more likely to happen. People could still correct this before submitting their votes, as the vast majority of people turned in perfectly marked ballots that could be scanned. Gore Lost. Listen to yourself, "screaming" at me in all caps here refusing to accept these basic facts. Gore Lost. You are the unhinged one about it, which is why you are no better than Trump in the end.
  5. No, because that is what the facts show. You are not merely calling him out here and you are not reasonably looking at the facts here. That is what makes you unreasonable here. Calling me a MAGA CULT sucker only further proves your unreasonableness and your extremely biased partisanship here, not mine.
  6. Except, it does. Do you think violence in the history of humanity started with the invention of firearms and the proliferation of them? No.
  7. If you are going to push breaking the law as a "right" to "protest" that also interferes with others... then others are going to push breaking the law to remove those "protestors" on their own. Or... we could support a polite society where we all respect the law and the equal enforcement of laws.
  8. Which happens with or without guns. Not sure I would say that difference somehow makes the amount of murder happening here a disgrace while those that happen in Europe and Canada A OK.
  9. You are playing games now, purposefully avoiding my questions. I did not ask you if you merely support the right to protest. "they took out the trash" was not my statement to retract, but to the point of the sentiment behind it, if you are going to support "protests" that break the law and interfere with peoples ability to travel, that IS trash, and don't be shocked when people take matters into their own hands to take out that trash in their way. In regards to this incident, one of those "protestors" was openly carrying an AK-47 and approached the driver of a vehicle they were illegally blocking on the street in a threatening manner. The driver took that as a threat to his life and acted in self-defense. My point here is that if you are going to engage in illegal activity, you shouldn't be armed in the process or act in a threatening manner to others. They may perceive you to be a threat.... this is a tragic incident easily avoided in the future by not breaking the law or being armed and acting in a threatening manner to others while doing so.
  10. About 2/3 of those deaths are suicides. It is a disgrace, but suicide is not unique to America. And killing yourself with drugs, rope, or exhaust is still dead. The US has a violence problem, across the board. Guns or no guns. We have higher rates of violent crimes. Guns do not cause this, we have some underlying cultural issues that are. All in all, our rates of violence are highest or higher as compared to our other western nations, but we are talking about the differences like 1 murder per 100K in European countries vs 5 in the US. Bad... but not 20 per 100K kind of "disgraceful" bad.
  11. Do you support these protestors blocking traffic in the streets? Do you support the local DA's not pressing charges? Do you support the police treating them with kid gloves, spending hours trying to negotiate with them before finally arresting them only after they caused people to be blocked from traveling for hours on end? If the police don't just outright ignore them, do you support that?
  12. If the left is going to normalize breaking the law by blocking people's movement and then normalize the injustice of not pressing charges or holding those doing so accountable... you don't get to be upset when the right normalizes taking matters into their own hands. It is serious.
  13. He took it down, they explained what happened. That is called being responsible. What you are doing is called being unreasonable, biased, and partisan, pushing a stupid game for political gain.
  14. No, it was not. They were given punch cards and the voting "machine" was a manual punch tool they were provided attached to the "machine" https://www.si.edu/object/voting-machine-used-2000-presidential-election%3Anmaahc_2013.181.1a-h "To the right of the plastic cover is red type. In the top right corner of the voting surface is a metal chain connected to a metal point meant to be held by the voter. " What is wrong? I asked you to tell me, not make the same assertion again. I am making perfect sense. Once voters punched their ballots, they were taken to a machine to be scanned (counted). It is their fault that they failed to check their ballots to ensure they were properly marked. When these were counted at the end of the night, Gore lost. The recounts used machines to scan the ballots for proper markings again. Gore Lost. What Gore wanted to do was to manually review those ballots that were not properly marked to try to interpret voter intent. He only wanted to do this in the districts that most favored him. They wanted to presume in the most favorable instances to them. Gore also tried to get Military ballots thrown out. Gore was trying to steal the election. The SCOTUS ruled: "Despite violating the Fourteenth Amendment by using disparate vote-counting procedures in different counties, Florida did not need to complete a recount in the 2000 presidential election because it could not be accomplished in a constitutionally valid way within the time limit set by federal law for resolving these controversies." There had already been a recount with the scanning machines. Gore Lost. Instead of accepting these basic facts, you are no better than what you think of Trump for not accepting his loss.
  15. Pro-Tip: Don't support protestors blocking people illegally and threatening them with guns... There is nothing disgraceful about gun ownership or our 2nd Amendment.
  16. No ignorance from me. You are the one running around like a chicken little here, screaming about Nazis when it was little more than some staffer grabbed a generic newspaper background.
  17. What in the world are you even talking about? Its like you talk past me, not even bothering to read anything I say. What binary result did I claim that anything you are saying here contradicts? Gore lost. You are here peddling the same kind of garbage you feign outrage over.
  18. Yes, this is your dishonest game. We all know what we are talking about here regarding how you are demeaning women.
  19. Nothing you said contradicts me or explains how I didn't understand. The fact that people turned in ballots that were not complete or accurately marked is still their either punching a hole or not punching a hole. And if they failed to punch the hole to the point the machines couldn't tell... then it was humans trying to "interpret" their intent. The machines recounted the votes. Gore lost.
  20. Not really shocking that you guys are lying and playing politics with something stupid AGAIN.
  21. That is exactly how it works. Calling me names doesn't make your ignorance here any better. You are here arguing that Hamas gets to rape, torture, kill women and children and then run back to their safe zone and hide behind civilian targets thumbing their noses saying "you can't get me!" This is not some childish playground game. Your argument fails on any basic level of common sense, nevermind international laws from the Geneva Convention to other forms of international laws like those the ICC adopted clearly state this as well. I said I could spam the thread if you like. You pretended to be ignorant of these things, one example is all it takes to show you how ignorant you are. You could try to get a shred of intellectual integrity here. As much credibility as Hamas? Hamas lies 10,000 times and you find one Israeli mistake and declare them equal to Hamas. Your arguments are absurd nonsense. No one is pretending anything, in this scenario the enemy is fighting from a Hospital. That makes it a legitimate military target. No, I am someone smart enough to understand how smart bombs differ from dumb bombs in their employment.
  22. If all they did was wander around and leave ,they never joined a lynch mob. Lots of them had nothing to do with the rioting mob. The DOJ as spent years pouring over video and railroading people to the greatest extent of the law they can get away with and more. They are not traitors when the most they can come up with is that they were on video wandering around and then leaving to charge them with illegal parading. You are not being a reasonable person here. Just as you are not in other discussions we have been in.
  23. Nothing false about what I said at all. I clearly explained the people I was talking about, you are moving the goal posts to the extreme minority of folks.
  24. This is your dumb game, see how dishonest you are with that qualifier of "women as a category" I have been quite clear with how you are insulting women here. That does not mean all women, that is your absurd strawman game.
  25. Yes. When you precisely target a specific building based on the intelligence you have regarding how fewer civilians if any are in that particular building, less people will be killed than by trying to drop a dumb bomb and maybe blowing up a different building with more people inside.
