As an ex-drinker, I think it would be in the best interest of the US Government to conduct field sobriety tests, each time Hegsworth enters the Senate. In the aftermath, the state is probably going to take a hard look at whether it wants to continue to be apart of the United States, especially when it gives billions of dollars to have-not states, mainly in the deep south like Alabama. If the Trump Administration order ICE to deploy the military to raid Hispanic neighbourhoods, in hopes of arresting millions of Latinos suspected of being undocumented workers, it will lead to Civil War. As a Canadian, I will personally do whatever I can to help the West Coast, and New England (they are surely going to resist Trump). The USA waited too long, and was too cowardly to stop Trump, The only way to halt the backslide of their democratic institutions into fascism, will be to spill blood through war. It's heartbreaking that it came to this, but it is what it is.

I've noticed that MAGA is now content on attacking Wikipedia and Snopes.com, two relatively impartial sources of information, that have no political slant towards them. The far right has not been content to discredit the MSM. They want to destroy all impartial sources of news, until FOX News has a monopoly on everything.

Welcome to 2025. When the United States was formed in 1776, they went to great lengths to separate the church from the state, for obvious reasons. For the past 2 decades, Republicans have been trying to blur that line, and appealing to the Evangelical Christian community. It is a proven failed system, as the Europeans did this for centuries. It was only when the church and state become separate did the working and middle class prosper.

Trump failed, and they left empty handed. Now Trump can use the situation to create division within Canada. It should also be known that they threw Mexico under the bus while doing so. SO Mexico is going to retaliate and not trust us. Overall, a complete failure for Smith and the UCP. Now Trump is STILL going to impose 25% tariffs on EVERYTHING, but he now will exploit the divisions between the Alberta Government and Canada.

The sad thing about Danielle Smith not only failing to do anything to help Alberta out, by visiting Trump, but the fact that Trump told her that he was not going to exempt oil and gas. This was to have been expected. Now Trump can use her to his advantage, knowing she will side with him over Canada, and create division from within. Now Mexico is going to get wind of this, and not trust us. All and all a complete disaster. So Danielle Smith flew to Mar-a-lago, on the taxpayers dime, and her mission was a complete failure. The tariffs have not been removed, and as an added bonus, Trump now will walk all over her. Even the most hardcore Conservative Albertans have started to distance herself from Smith, as she is such an off-putting and shameless Premier.
