  1. I have no idea, because it's a pixelated, contrast blasted mess. But what it is not is Pritty's gun. Because we can watch the agent in the gray jacket remove it from Pritty's holster and carry it away. You can literally watch him pull it out with your own eyes. No speculation required. invvestigationsloopv1.mp4
  2. WTF, man. That's a completely insane and inverted hunk of bullshit. They were both filming ICE. Why would he attack her? He didn't. He was literally using his body as a human shield. He didn't attack ICE. He didn't attack her. He was trying to help her after ICE attacked her. He intervened in about as pacifistic a way as possible, literally just putting himself in harms way.
  3. What about from this angle. 🙄 Watch the goddamn video. It requires no imagination whatsoever. The agent in the gray jacket takes the gun from the holster and leaves. Then they shoot him. Crystal clear. No need to interpret it in the least.
  4. WTF? He didn't assault anyone. It's one of the fascist thugs that comes over and violently shoves that woman to the ground. Because she had the audacity to film them.
  5. That's pretty damning. He must stand trial.
  6. No you did not. You may be seeing him drop his phone. You may be seeing someone else drop something, but incontrovertibly the agent in the gray jacket took Pretti's gun from the holster and carried it away. Plain as day. Exactly at I said, you're entrenched now. You'll say the sky is neon green before you admit the plain truth that everyone can see. This is exactly like when people tried to pretend that it didn't rain during Trump's inauguration just because he said it didn't rain. Don't believe your eyes. Believe Trump! 🙄
  7. Agent in gray jacket takes Pretti's gun out of the holster and carries it away from the attack. Not only did Pretti not brandish the weapon, he didn't unholster it. They did. And carried it away. Then shot him over and over again. They executed an unarmed man in the street. Now go lie about it some more.
  8. You're completely farking delusional. Every bit of that happened. Let me tell you how this is going to play out. All of you who have swallowed the administration's fictional account are digging in. Eventually you'll watch all the footage, and realize that you were unbelievably wrong, but by that point you'll have invested in the fiction and your defense of it so much that you won't have the courage to admit what was obvious.
  9. The is no lie there. Those are the facts. The are multiple videos from multiple angles. That's exactly what happened. The Trump administration is brazenly lying. This was a murder in broad daylight by fascist thugs who were angry about being filmed.
  10. Yes, he stood there with both arms out even where being pepper sprayed. Not aggressive. They took him down, beat him, took the gun from his holster, THEN shot him. Murder. This is a fascist government that is terrorizing and murdering its citizens. That's the point we've reached.
  11. Also with noting the ICE officer assaulted that woman. Just ran up and shoved her to the ground. Power tripping fascist fark. This is Trump's America.
  12. You are a shameless liar. He did not assault anyone. His legally owned and carried firearm was holstered. The masked thugs took him down, beat him, to the gun, then shot him. We can all watch the video. We can all plainly see that you're lying. Why even bother?
  13. Let's be fair. He's corruptly grifted his way to billions while in office. He's made America much more affordable for himself.
  14. Eh, people get what they give. We've had perfectly polite exchanges, including disagreements that are rather stark. Other members seem to enjoy a nastier tone. Which, I think, is generally representative of the difference in capability. They have nothing better to offer, so I converse in kind. I've only ever been on one other forum that was shut down for business reasons, but it was a properly moderated forum with rules against name calling and other boorish behavior. Which was nice. The population here seems to revel in the ugliness. It is what it is.
  15. Slaves aren't free to choose. That's the real difference--and it makes all the difference. They are not free to improve themselves or their circumstances. they are owned. They are property. They can be abused without option or recourse. The picture you're trying to paint here massively undersells the horrors of slavery and massively oversells the plight of the undocumented, who come electively because every aspect of their lives are better here than in the places they flee. They choose. And, for the record, it's the democratic states where immigrants are given the most opportunity to thrive within legal channels and where they have the most rights and protections. As always, it's a fact that the population exists. States and cities simply have to manage that population in the way that's best for the entire population.
  16. Inflation creeping up. Unemployment rising. Job creation soft. Deficit and debt exploding. Foreclosures soaring. Personal debt soaring. Do you really think those metrics reflect healthy fundamentals? Do you really think Trump is somehow driving GDP independent of those metrics? Of course not. GDP is being driven by the AI boom--a boom which is likely a bubble, and if it's not a bubble will be disastrous for unemployment. Trump wants to take credit for it, and you're clearly eager to give it, but that simply does not match reality. The growth is incredibly siloed and not distributed across the economy. That's why you see everything else soft. Without data centers, GDP growth was 0.1% in the first half of 2025, Harvard economist says U.S. GDP growth in the first half of 2025 was almost entirely driven by investment in data centers and information processing technology, according to Harvard economist Jason Furman. Excluding these technology-related categories, Furman calculated in a Sept. 27 post on X.com GDP growth would have been just 0.1% on an annualized basis, a near standstill that underlines the increasingly pivotal role of high-tech infrastructure in shaping macroeconomic outcomes. Different analyses may produce different numbers, but the underlying theme is consistent: GDP is being propped up by a very narrow vertical. Trump is trying to flood the economy with "rebate" checks while running record deficits, as he did in his first term. And worse, he's trying to seize political control of monetary policy to artificially stimulate the economy. He left the economy in a ditch at the end of his first term, and he's very likely to leave us in a much deeper, longer ditch this term. There is every reason to expect another Great Recession.
  17. For sure. Canadians are generally amazing. I love spending time in Canada. I'm not sure what's gone on in this forum to collect such an unrepresentative group of misanthropes, but it's wildly out of sync with the Canadian population as a whole.
  18. Mission accomplished? I guess if that mission was to destroy 80 years of Western unity and a stable world order, sure. There was never any objection to US security for Greenland. We got nothing in return for this embarrassing sideshow. Now, America is less trusted, less positioned to lead, and the world is less secure.
  19. Yes, subpoenaing the Clintons is pure partisan sideshow, but when you are subpoenaed by Congress, you damn well better show up. Axios Nearly half of the Democrats on the House Oversight Committee broke with their party's leadership in stunning fashion Wednesday by voting to hold former President Bill Clinton in contempt of Congress. Take note, Trump-enabling Republicans: Conscience. That's how you do the job.
  20. Not looking good for the fascist lynch mob. Prepare for disappointment in the short term, but you can take comfort in the fact that this administration will continue to wage war on the first amendment at every available opportunity. Judge declines to sign off on charges against former CNN anchor Don Lemon Federal prosecutors can go before a magistrate judge to get them to determine there is probable cause for charges to begin a criminal case. A grand jury must then return an indictment within 30 days. It is “extremely rare” for a magistrate judge to reject charges, said Andrew Tessman, a former federal prosecutor. “I really have not heard of it happen before,” he said. “Usually just because the prosecutor is usually very careful about alleging all the supporting facts that would support a charge.” While there are other ways the justice department could move to charge Lemon, a magistrate judge’s refusal to sign off on the case was not a good sign for the government, Tessman said. “That probably means a grand jury is going to be as skeptical about this as the federal judicial officer.”
  21. Are you freaking kidding? There was never any challenge or friction getting a deal with Greenland. We could have just asked a loyal ally at any point. Trump started a fire to feed his ego and you want to give him credit if he manages to put it out? Sorry, but no. He burned American trust, credibility, moral authority and a stable world order on the alter of his ego. Every one of these asinine tantrums costs America dearly and makes the world less secure.
  22. Total and complete bullshit. We already have a base. We used to have an even larger presence but voluntarily shrank it. The existing agreements easily cover anything we want to do there and Denmark has been a close and cooperative ally since WWII. There is literally NO defense-related reason. There was no hard bargain to drive. Trump said he wants to own Denmark because he wants to own Denmark. And for the same insatiable, narcissistic lust for validation that has him claiming and renaming things domestically. He wants to be a king domestically and an emperor abroad. He is a fundamentally broken person. As stupid as it was to try to rename the Gulf of Mexico, in retrospect it's surprising he didn't try to call or the Gulf of Trump. He is dead serious about wanting to own Greenland. And it will come up again. The political cost is high enough that someone got through to him this week, but his ego won't let it go for long.
  23. It's pretty simple. Some of them didn't roll during the Russia investigation. Some of them tried to help him overturn an election, and he feels like he might need them--and more of them--next time. Thematically, they're all useful in service to the man rather than the nation.
  24. I found a 2000 year old pamphlet that says that hip replacements are a sin. Sorry, you'll just have to limp around.
