Is Leftism a kind of Religion?

That's not authoritarian, that's just oppo research. Also, the accusations weren't false. Russia contacted people on Trump's team asking if they want help in the 2016 election and Trump's team accepted. OMG! Do you know what authoritarianism is? It involves the government taking away freedom. Authoritarianism is NOT when people boycott Rowling for being a piece of shit. This is what happens when you only watch right-wing media. They're brainwashing you into thinking it's "authoritarian" to not agree with the Right. Meanwhile, they're doing actual authoritarianism in the form of ending democracy and freedom of speech. Give me some examples of Democrats trying to end freedoms like the Republicans do. Not examples of boycotts or teaching kids that gay people exist, but actual laws or attempts at stealing elections. This is actual fascism: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trump_fake_electors_plot

Booooooollllsheeeeeet. There have been both successful and unsuccessful comic book movies with female leads, and the exact same applies to comic book movies with male leads. However, there is a sizable segment of the population that refuses to watch a movie that has a woman superhero because that goes against traditional gender roles. So we do still have some work to do when it comes to representation.

How are all of these voter-restriction laws protecting anyone? How were all of the ways they tried to steal the 2020 election anything other than an attack on democracy? When you combine that with the constant praising and platforming of foreign dictators, it become pretty obvious that the Republicans want America to be a dictatorship. None of that is authoritarian. Personally, I don't like identity politics either. But identity politics is not authoritarian, it's just a stupid strategy to win elections. I don't agree with the Democrats on most things. I'm a leftist, not a liberal. But the Democrats aren't trying to end democracy, ban books, or control public schools.

There are exceptions here and there, like Mitt Romney and Liz Cheney. But they're part of a tiny minority. The GOP as an establishment is fascist. The rare exceptions don't define the party. And it's the same thing with right-wing media. The tiny minority of conservative pundits that aren't pushing fascism don't change the fact that right-wing media as an establishment is fascist now. Yes, but how many of those Republicans are opposing Trump? I think we can agree that most Republicans secretly hate Trump and wish they could go back to the John McCain days. But that doesn't matter, what matters is whether they go along with Trump and the push towards fascism, or if they actually fight back. Ted Cruz probably hates Trump, but Cruz is still a fascist for helping to enable Trump. No, because I'm not saying it should be illegal to be a fascist, and I'm not just using the term for anyone I don't like. You may notice I don't throw around the word "nazi" nearly as much. The reason is because these words aren't just buzzwords to me, I only use them when they fit. Whereas McCarthy just used "communist" against anyone he didn't like.

Again, are you trolling or what? Do you not think the modern Republicans are against democracy? Do you not notice that the vast majority of them either support or begrudgingly go along with Trump, even after he tried to steal the 2020 election? What exactly do the Republicans have to do in order to be considered authoritarian to you?

What laws have the Democrats tried to pass that would enforce group think? When it comes to the Republicans, I can point to actual policy and legal action they've taken that is authoritarian. But when people say the Democrats are authoritarian, the "evidence" is always something amorphous like, well they're mean if you disagree with them.

If that was true, don't you think we would say all masculinity is toxic, as opposed to drawing a distinction between healthy masculinity and toxic masculinity? Again, it really sounds like you're in a right-wing media bubble and you're refusing to fact-check anything. Do you watch ANY media that isn't right-wing?

First, if there is still a backlash to women being superheroes, we obviously still have a long way to go. Secondly, the reason young men are doing worse is for economic reasons created by capitalism, and for social reasons created by patriarchy. Ending patriarchy helps young men. Why do you think divorce courts favor women over men? It's because of the patriarchal idea that women are better care-takers than men. This is why feminism helps everyone, not just women. Not being interested in it is fine. But being morally opposed to homo content in children's media is homophobic.

Show me some mainstream leftists or elected officials that are anti-democracy. I don't care about random fringe weirdos on twitter who say we should ban cis men from existing or whatever. I care about the left-wing establishment. In America, only the Republicans as an establishment are authoritarian. If you say Bill C-16, I'm going to send my flying monkeys to get you.

Italy, Spain, and Austria. In each case, there were Liberals trying to compromise with the fascist parties. And the only reason I'm not including Germany is because I recognize that nazism is a different form of authoritarianism. Leftists wanted to ban these anti-democratic parties from participating in democracy, but liberals opposed that because "then we'd be just like them." Leck mich. If you're against democracy, you shouldn't be allowed to participate in democracy. By the way, since nobody here seems to know what fascism is, and you want to see what my definition is, I'll define it now. Fascism is reactionary authoritarianism. Fascism has never been a strict ideology, Mussolini himself never defined it. But generally speaking, fascism seeks to justify authoritarianism through reactionary social politics. It's always that society is rotting from the inside due to "degeneracy" and must be corrected through state-enforcement of "traditional values." Fascists want to go back to a mythological past, before the degeneracy came along and ruined everything. When Republicans talk about eradicating "transgenderism," they're doing fascism. This is why the cultural marxism theory is so popular on the Right.

I think most fascists are too far gone, so I'm not trying to make traction with them. I care much more about bringing over centrists, who I have had lots of success with. Women have always been represented in media, but mostly according to gender roles. When Captain Marvel came out, a lot of conservatives were mad, saying that now the MCU is "woke." Like with homophobes, there will always be a segment of society that refuses to accept women in positions of power. We can't reach everyone, but we can do our best to teach children that women can be strong, it's alright to be gay or bi, and gender is nothing more than self-identity. So, we don't actually know how much of the population is gay. I'm guessing that bisexuality is WAY more common than most people think, considering bisexuality was super common for most of history. But even if we were to say that same-gender attracted people are only 10%, that means they're still crazy underrepresented in media. When was the last time there was a children's movie or series that depicted homosexuality in any form? Even with adult media, we didn't have a gay couple as part of the main cast until the show Modern Family which came out in the two-thousands. LGBT people are beyond underrepresented.
