Even though people might disagree on the details, we all generally agree that a karen is an intrusive person who overreacts to minor issues, usually getting the authorities involved. Meanwhile, the fascists still can't come up with a coherent and consistent definition for "wokeness" because it's a propaganda term. It's like the term "degeneracy." The closest definition it has is gender non-conformity, but fascists will also use it to describe Atheism and multiculturalism. The term isn't consistent because it's really just a propaganda catch-all.

I can honestly say that the transphobia now is even worse than the islamophobia that happened after 9/11. Even during that time, I can't imagine the entire Right getting triggered by a company that did a promo with a Muslim. CPAC wasn't calling for the "eradication" of Muslims. The way the Right talks about the "trans agenda" is total nazi shit. It's way closer to the Satanic Panic or McCarthyism than it is to how the Right was during the Bush and Obama years.

I can be somewhat charitable to exaggerations, since that is common in politics and everyone does it. But when right-wing media and nearly all of the Republicans are fear-mongering about trans people constantly, it goes beyond exaggerations. They're creating a moral panic in which a huge portion of the country thinks that hospitals are doing millions of trans surgeries on young children. This is causing real-world damage. So yeah, I don't think the Left is wrong for standing up for trans rights the way we do. And like I said, this is really just to distract from talking about economics.

Not at all. There are tons of anti-trans bills being pass throughout the country, plus right-wing media regularly uses genocidal rhetoric in how they obsessively fear-monger about trans people. I think if anything, the Left doesn't realize how close we are to a legit genocide. The Left talks about economics all the time. That's why the Right does culture war bullshit. It's just to distract from economic issues. It's also why the media does its best to ignore people like Bernie Sanders and Marianne Williamson.

Well yeah, trans people make up like 2% of the population. But I don't think the Left is overstating the number of trans people. If anything, the Right does that as part of their narrative that schools are transing the kids and that soon everyone is going to be trans.
