  1. ASD was Harpers way to cut PS but it ended up a 10 times larger contracting out issue. More and more PS were needed to manage all the contractors that were now working for the government. I hate trudeau but he did get rid of a lot of contractors and filled them back in with PS. exPS is just a bitter little ex public servant that they booted for poor performance and he is blaming them fo all his/her failures LOL
  2. I don't get it. Repeating stupid noises is the best you got ?? LOL They have a name for folks like you Luddite LOL
  3. Trying to win the award for the feeblest posts?? LOL
  4. Back on topic The feds announced cutback of foreign temporary workers. https://www.ctvnews.ca/politics/canada-to-restrict-low-wage-foreign-workers-consider-lower-immigration-targets-1.7014058 So now our Canadian young people will have lots of strawberry, blueberry, asparagus, lettuce broccoli , apple, pear, cherry picking jobs. Ya think??? I do not. This work is beneath them so the fruit and veggies will got in the fields and on the trees. Oh, so pay them more you say? OK, then the price of all that will go up and you have something new to whine about LOL
  5. Is this your version of Jeopardy game show? LOL You answered your question before you asked it LOL
  6. Of those on EI, 196000 are on maternity or paternity pay outs. 116,000 are on EI for sickness reasons. 6,500 are on EI for care giving reasons. Quebec and Ontario account for over 1/2 the recipients with Alberta and BC in there too. https://www.canada.ca/en/employment-social-development/programs/ei/statistics.html EI rates this year are about the average that had been for the past 10 years. @6.4% https://tradingeconomics.com/canada/unemployment-rate When you consider 312,000 of those on are on maternity, paternity and sick...well it don't look so bad for those really needing pogey.
  7. Oh, the Vikings? "With the Treaty of Paris in 1763, France chose to abandon Canada. This was mainly because the colony had cost more than it had returned. France also made no subsequent attempt to regain Canada""
  8. What BS. No one ever tries to get a public servant to stay. The PS knows very well there are hundreds ready to take your place LOL. You are as important as the hole you leave in the bucket of water when you take your hand out LOL You never saved the taxpayer anything because your hole was filled the very next day. British system??? You are just a bitter ex PS that they did not want LOL
  9. Are you on drugs??? Are you out of your F'n mind??? Watch a sermon....not F'n likely LOL Your truth has baked your brain and made you blind LOL
  10. I generally do not read anything you post. What you call despicable is aa human right. I only said there is a difference between Canada and the US rights and left. I do not respect Trump, his policies and particilat his demeaned. If you inst Canadas leader on the right is like Trump, well then you are F/n more whacked than I already know. The US right wing are all fools and blinded by an 1diot. https://news.yahoo.com/news/donald-trump-latest-relentlessly-stupid-084138421.html You are the OP, arguing with you isdlike arguing with a deaf person LOL
  11. Not that I have to, but in the US the right have Trump and we have no equivalent here in Canada. If that is not clear, then you are full of biblical BS....oh wait, you are LOL You are blathering...again LOL
  12. Read my post again. I said "The "left" and "right" in Canada is far far from the the US. I did not say who was left or right, I said they are different than in the US. So, your blather is once again, useless. LOL
  13. I would like you to substantiate that statement please.
  14. The givernemnt stepped in becasue tge union asked them to w=a while ago. The supply chain in Canada is an economic engine for the entire country. There is no one secor more or less affected by a rail strike. I stronlgy suspect you, amongst others, would be screaming if let go for a couple weeks and you groceries were not available or the product you want to need. Let alone having our agriculture lay dormant and spoil or die. You would be demanding the government intervene Also, are you, in some way ,saying the government allocate when unions can go on strike? If any laws should be made or passed, it is one that designates what is deemed an essential service. Like health care? And maybe the rail system? Or, are you implying that the rail system become a government department?
  15. What a pathetic feeble post. What end of your rocking horse is that bit of wisdom coming from LOL
  16. Back again? As I recall you said ""done with wasting my valuable time with an arse hole troll like you" And here you are back again. Now you are not just a loser butt a lying loser LOL
  17. See, it didn't take long for you to be back ? I guess you are not "done with wasting my valuable time with an arse hole troll like you". LOL Don't forget the carrots for your pony Ha Ha Ha
  18. You got my answers. Live in th past, it's more thn OK with me LOL I seriously do not believe that you are done, you won't even leave this post undone . A loser like you cannot take being outed. LOL Waiting for the next bunch of insults LOL
  19. Yes I do. As safe environmentally safe and friendly as the bilions of electrical outlets there are in every house and building in Canada and America. It will come form the infrastructure that now exists and what they will be building in the future. The loser in all this is you, stuck with your horse and buggy LOL
  20. OK, all you got is insults. Remind me once again...what was the question. I promise eI will answer. LOL I cannot phk awf because I don't like to leave things unfinished. Wjht was the question?? I bet you even forgot and are not just rambling...again because you are losing LOL C'mon, puppy, what is the question?? Forgot eh? LOL
  21. Quebec separatism is a many decades old issue. https://www.thecanadianencyclopedia.ca/en/article/separatism It dies down then rises up again, like a phoenix. It all depended on if and what Quebec gets from Ottawa. Truth is, if the rest of Canada had been able to vote on Quebec separatism, Quebec would have been long gone LOL
  22. Yeah well, somersetting needs to be done. Proposal is to build millions of new homes and all need electricity. EV's coming on line more and more every year and more electricity will be needed. Pickering will be shut down, reducing electrical output by over 2000 KW and will be down for up to 11 years so something has to be done. All government, corporate and even personal goals, projects and principals have to change with the times and consequences. I am not surprised nor upset. We need the juice and you cannot pluck it off fruit trees or vineyards. The problem is over 150 Ontario communities have decreed not wind power in their municipalities so, where to put it. Cannot build hydro facilities which they should have started 30 years ago but Quebec has veto over that. Yup, Ontario is in a bind.
