His business concerns have made huge money, in the business of fear. There was always a way to end these protests, but Pixie-Dust is such an entitled, arrogant li'l COWARD, that he won't even meet with the protesters. Supporters of this chicken-shit are on here 'claiming' and 'feigning' sympathy for all the destroyed lives. But it's all just sanctimonious Bullshit. Amusing...Cops and maybe even tow trucks will come along and ticket some...maybe even tow a few. The convoy slush fund will pay the tickets and the towed trucks will quietly be replaced. Doug knows this too.

I actually didn't think you did. Our PM seems to though. Or at least, he uses the sound-byte as a club. Its sick. I never thought overthrowing the government was attainable. I think it was put in the list of demands...as it is sort of...as an over-reach so that the final settlement will have something less. Like...a vote of non-confidence. Hypocritical? Perhaps a bit. Necessary to make the point loud and clear? Probably. Yet...they haven't even bloodied anyone's nose in the process. For all intents and purposes...they've been quite well behaved. I think in the end, the truckers will get their mandates dropped for themselves. We may have to wait a month or two for the masses to be done with them. I think...if their smart...the truckers might also get a clear and DOCUMENTED plan to open up to normal life again. Real Democracy can be messy...as it has gotten now. But this protest will or should, re-instill something I've noted is sadly lacking of late in Mr. and Mrs Canuck. The sense that this is OUR government. That they work for US. Not for themselves or their doners. A renewed sense of Canadiana. National pride.
