Do you have any non-conspiracy pushing sites that have real facts and evidence? Again…. It seems that the climate science deniers want to have it both ways…. The science is bought and paid for by some shadowy rich people, except when it’s not. These shadowy rich people have a lot of money…. Except when compared to the richest oil and automobile corporations who make up a significant proportion of the richest companies in the world. Sorry, I just can’t buy the conspiracies. I can’t accept that maybe one day the flat earthers will get enough money together to buy the scientific consensus and then we’ll all believe the Earth is flat.

Do you think it’s realistic to think that any part of the country is going to break away in the foreseeable future?

What do you think the differences are between an mRNA vaccine and the “other” vaccines? Do you think those “other” vaccines cause autism?

Is end of life termination contagious? Do you think there might be a material difference between someone choosing something that only affects themselves and a highly contagious disease?

So you think they shouldn’t be so liberal in their views, and remain “balanced”, but that they should also be more right-wing? Why would you think the population is a reflection of the media and not the reverse? Don’t you think it seems more logical to conclude that Canadian institutions would be a reflection of the population at large, rather than some sort of mind control to turn people liberal?

That’s not what I believe. I don’t conclude that. How many have died from getting the vaccine? Do you think the virus is a bigger health risk, or getting the vaccine is? The part where you know what the cause of the stroke is. That part is illogical to me.

So you think the fact that celebrities are hypocrites means that the scientific consensus is wrong? Why would you base an opinion, one way or the other, on what celebrities think? I believe what the physicists say about gravity, what the biologists say about evolution and what climatologists say about climate.

No, I only play a doctor on the internet! Where did I say not to investigate? I was asking about how you came to the conclusion that it was from the vaccine. If I came out and said “clearly this is not from the vaccine” you might have a point. I am asking how you came to your conclusions. Did doctors conclude that it was from the vaccine? If not, why would you come to that conclusion based on what you have read on the internet?

Is limiting free speech against the law? For example, hate speech is against the law and has been enforced by the courts. This is limiting someone’s freedom. So, do you think your blanket statement is really correct?

I didn’t know we were talking about individual politicians. But, by your standards, that politician is correct in their approach, aren’t they? If you don’t care about your neighbour’s wellbeing, then why should they? Shouldn’t you support that view and applaud them for it? It’s the same as your view after all…

So “they” have a bigger pool of money than a conglomerate of the richest corporations in the world? hmmm…. Do you see how someone might think that’s a crazy conspiracy theory?

But, in your example, actual real science came to the conclusion about smoking despite the money. So, isn’t that the opposite of what you’re claiming? Money didn’t buy the scientific consensus. If it could, oil companies would own the consensus, no? Didn’t Canada buy a pipeline to ship oil? Clearly, Canada isn’t against the use of oil. And yet you claim Canada is funding science that is pro-climate change…. I think the stronger possibility, rather than conspiracies about big oil being kept down by The Man, is that the evidence is with the scientific consensus. To say otherwise leads down all sorts of crazy conspiracies that you yourself has show is completely incoherent and nonsensical.

That’s a good point. Should those who don’t care about the wellbeing of others even be part of the conversation? Isn’t that like having a discussion with a psychopath about morality?

You seem to be backtracking on who is paying for climate science. Is scientific consensus bought and paid for, or not?

So it’s carbon taxes in Canada…. What is it in the USA? The article I linked to has some explanations by the people that study the issue. Did you read it? It also mentioned when the stats Canada figures for and what they compared. Interesting links that show your area seems to be affected more than others.

I thought it was a simple question about whether you cared about your fellow citizens. I didn’t know it seemed so dramatic to you. When someone doesn’t care about anyone else’s wellbeing it’s a signal that you may be talking to a person who’s not right in the head. Or at least is acting that way on a forum. It’s an indicator about whether the conversation can really go anywhere. If the person doesn’t care about anyone else, well …. They’re a fringe element. It’s like talking to a jihadist, or sociopath. Not much can come out of it.

Sort of like all the Germans Canada took in after WWII? Except, they were enemy soldiers…. Not friendly civilians.

Sorry…. I didn’t realize you expected an immediate response. I am worried about the virus. Zero fears about the vaccine. And I don’t understand why anyone would be afraid of the jab…. We’ve needed various jabs for a century now and they’ve saved millions of lives.
