Trump just Effed Carney Royally LOL
BeaverFever replied to CdnFox's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
And the photo is picture of a sikh gathering, not Muslim. Stupid MAGA strikes again. As it does every day. -
I stand by it. The reason given for attacking Venezuela was “narco terrorists” who were deliberately killing Americans by trafficking cocaine to US soil. So for anyone to claim it was never about cocaine now is hilarious. And that’s the only drug that transited through Venezuela, not fentanyl, not heroine not crystal meth.

I googled him, he’s got a whole bunch of liberal derangement syndrome tweets I don’t know where the 2025 date comes from, maybe some earlier unfunded wish list. But when the contract was actually issued in December 2023, 2028 was the date for initial delivery due to rhe canadianization which is totally normal. https://nationalpost.com/opinion/first-reading-as-mark-carney-takes-up-pm-advisor-job-his-company-solicits-ottawa-for-10-billion Nowhere does it say their relationship is inappropriate or unusual or that there is anything unusual about the LOAN. Telesat is both a world leader and the only Canadian option. As to the article, Brookfield still hasn’t gotten any money and thw article gives away that it was the government, not Brookfield who called for investment firms pension funds etc to invest more in Canada which is something I think most people support. Is there anyone who DOESNT think investors should invest in Canada?

What did I make up?

Really ? the tweet you copy-pasted from that Humphrey character was talking about it. They’re working on it Still no ETA on a delivery date or final product though Drone army: New initiative to accelerate small uncrewed systems … In September, Army commander Lieutenant-General Michael Wright officially launched the Minerva Initiative, a capability development program focused on integrating drones and autonomous systems into land force operations. It’s not a procurement project in the traditional sense, explained Lieutenant-Colonel Cory Durant, the initiative’s chief planner with the Directorate of Land Requirements (DLR), but rather a comprehensive approach to “rapidly move the Army towards the adoption of small-form uncrewed systems.” … https://canadianarmytoday.com/drone-army-new-initiative-to-accelerate-small-uncrewed-systems/ As for now, The troops in Latvia have Switchblade Kamikazes, or at least they have already been ordered, not sure if they’re delivered yet.

You don’t get to make up accusations amd rhen say “you have zero evidence it didn’t happen” that’s not how it works Also we’re not talking about Brookfield we’re talking about the ridiculous claim that he has some vested interest in Lockheed Martin specifically because it was one of the hundreds of stock that his investment manager had put in his portfolio in the past even though carney would not know if it’s there because now it’s in a blind trust And another thing: there is absolutely nothing unique or unusual or inappropriate about Carney owning stocks Most if not all of your favourite politicians own stocks too In fact given Carney’s impeccable reputation and resume which includes being lauded by Stephen Harper who still considers him a friend, Carney is probably the LEAST likeliest person to make inappropriate decisions for personal gain

Trump just Effed Carney Royally LOL
BeaverFever replied to CdnFox's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Meanwhile back in reality, major media in Canada and around the world have already reported Carney’s new $2.6 Bn uranium deal with India along with a host of other agreements they signed, and their jointly stated goal of finalizing a free trade agreement by the end of the year. Apparently news outlets can report more than 1 story at a time. -
First of all that was a list of the assets had BEFORE they were sold and put in a blind trust. Second of all as you can see its a very long list of basically every company. There are literally hundreds of them on there in every economic sector including Lockheed Martin’s competitors so it’s ridiculous to suggest he has a vested special interest in just that one company Thirdly Carney like most wealthy people used third party wealth management firms who regularly select and trade investments on their clients. You are a prime example of MAGA self-educated Dunning-Kruegers who don’t know wtf they’re talking about

There’s a lot of misinformation in this post unfortunately. Seem this Lee Humphrey guy is just a random social media troll with Liberal derangement syndrome But suffice to say he deliberately or unintentionally mixes up things that happened in different time frames. Specifically: the P8 contract was awarded in 2022 long before Trump 2.0 and elbows up the MQ 9 contract was awarded in December 2023 way too late for a 2025 delivery which is actually 2028 not “mid 2030s” the Canadian modifications are necessary for extended high arctic operations Customization to the client is normal and standard for any foreign military sales There is ZERO evidence Carney and Telesat CEO have an unusually close relationship or that the recent contract for a sovereign Canadian military satellite constellation- which has been on the wish list for YEARS - is in any way inappropriate This is PURE innuendo fake controversy Dual satcom functionality is VERY COMMON not “never done before” I have not seen anything to suggest that the added satcom network for Canada capability would be a “major overhaul” TELESAT has been a recognized world leader in satellite technology for decades period. It did not “barely manage thanks to space-x” Telesat simply revised their Lightspeed constellation plans after starlink’s disruption. and FWIW Space-x doesn’t build military grade satellites either Its Starlink constellation is commercial grade and was later adapted for military ise after Russia invaded Ukraine This guy is just your typical Canadian MAGA troll and propagandist, not an authority of any kind, sorry
-
Not true we ordered MQ9 Skyguardian drones with munitions in 2023 and delivery of the first one is coming up. There are several drone projects underway with the army and navy. It’s actually a bit of a goldrush environment right now with all the money being handed out for drone and counter-drone tech. But yes we are playing catch up and still have a way to go.
-
Stop with the bullshit. You have no idea what Carney’s investments are. Furthermore, Carney’s assets are in a blind trust so he doesn’t know either. There’s ZERO evidence Carney has made any decisions based on personal profit. Meanwhile your hero Trump is on the take like no western leader in history openly taking bribes in plain sight and you don’t say a peep you shameless tool.

MAGAs own words: no more “globalist interventions”, no more “world’s policeman”. That is false They are a long ways awy from developing a nuke and MAGAs own ideology declares that foreign humanitarian crises don’t justify sacrificing American blood and treasure. These are the same people who oppose helping Ukraine fight off Russian invasion or even helping Ukraine shoot down Russian missiles aimed at schools and hospitals “Unintended consequences” is quite the euphemism for accidentally starting and being stuck in the longest war in US history that over 11+ years killed many hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians, thousands of US troops, cost trillions of dollars and sparked dozens of shocking terrorist attacks around the entire world. And you’re right Iran is not Saddam Hussein’s Iraq. Iran is far more militarily and economically advanced and organized than Iraq was. After Desert storm Iraq had been reduced to tiny banana republic minus the bananas with barely any military or money and a generally incompetent and corrupt bureaucracy. Iran has always had a sophisticated government even during sanctions which is why taking out the one man doesn’t cause the government to fall they way it did in Iraq. You don’t know what you’ve gotten yourself into and neither do the unqualified know-nothings in the Trump administration All of those things happened long before Trump was elected which means they are historical. Therefore Trump’s attacks are unprovoked. If his plan was to avenge all these historical misdeeds why wasn’t it part of his election campaign and why didn’t he go to congress? That is a ridiculously foolish and naive statement. Instability is never safer than stability. The Instability and power vacuum of 1979 is how the Islamist regime came to power in Iran to begin with. If Iran does have the nuclear program you claim you have no idea what faction will end up in control of it or who Iran’s current nuclear scientists will end up working for inside Iran or elsewhere. There is ZERO evidence to suggest that is the highest likelihood The reason why it’s called “instability” is because it is unstable and unpredictable not because there is a high likelihood of positive outcomes. And America’s enemies in the region are far more capable of exploiting that instability and uncertainty for their own ends. What’s hilarious is that when those future “setbacks” you mention actually start to happen you’ll deny they are setbacks or have anything to do with this war of choice you started. You’ll claim they would have happened anyway or you’ll find some crazy way to blame it on Obama or Biden It’s not even a personal attack. The facts are the facts I mean look up the bios of anyone in his administration. Objectively speaking nobody in the Trump White House has any formal education or work experience relevant to their role or level of authority. This is remarkably different feom any past administration. I mean the head of the “war department” was a fox news host FFS. He hasn’t so much as managed a McDonalds before this. They’re operating 100% on uninformed ideology and selfish opportunism. You see every day examples of the rampant incompetence mismanagement, toxic workplace complaints from people who don’t even seem to have basic leadership and management skills let alone subject matter knowledge. MAGA a big clown car of kooks, cultists and grifters who are only selected because of their personal pledge to Donald Trump himself.

A general rule of thumb is that Iran, being a shiite country primarily sponsors shiite groups and SA and the gulf states being Sunni sponsor Sunni groups There is a high degree of mistrust and competition between sunnis and shiite so cross-over is rare and limited with the exception of Palestine where Sunni groups Hamas and Islamic Jihad have a pragmatic working relationship with Iran and Shiite groups Hezbollah, etc So for example Al Qaeda is Sunni and has had limited to no relations with Iran (or Saddam Hussein’s Iraq) but close ties with many Saudi and Gulf entities

Having taken the $2Bn should have made him ineligible to go back. But this is the most corrupt administration in us history. Of course the 2B was a bribe ti begin with. Saudis aren’t in the habit of investing billions with people who have zero qualifications or experience with investment management, especially a Jewish person, over the objections of their own financial advisers ….and earning zero returns. But that’s what happened.
-
So has Saudi Arabia. What’s the rush to destabilize the entire region without congressional approval? If the purpose of this attack is to punish Iran for what Iran has been doing over the past several years and decades then why didn’t trump campaign on this instead of campaigning on being a non-interventionist peace president?
-
Well Trump never provided stats to ever show that there was an increase in cocaine much less an increase Venezuela-routed cocaine but we were all told the reason that his had to happen ASAP with no time for congressional approval was that there was a cocaine emergency due to Maduro purposely flooding USA with cocaine as part of deliberate attack on USA. NOW you’re claiming it was never about the cocaine? It was just to arrest a random criminal right when Trump was pardoning and releasing the ex-president of Honduras for the same thing?

Gwadar to Nawabshah Is inside Pakistan and not near China. China also consumes far more oil than what can be transported via pipelines
-
1) MAGAs don’t care about how many foreigners are killed in a foreign land 2) Trump is only 1 year into his term no need rush 3) Iran hasn’t been able to get nukes to date and they’ve been trying dor decades 4)) BIDEN???! Lmao Iran has been contained for decades. Trump isn’t attacking Iran because they’ve suddenly become strong, he’s attacking them because they’ve suddenly become weak and vulnerable. I am afraid that you and the MAGA cult are going to be in for a big surprise. Are you too young to remember what happened when you tried to “liberate” Iraq? Let’s be clear what is happening: Trump is initiating unprovoked attacks against America’s traditional enemies with the naive belief that he can topple these regimes and some friendly stable alternative will magically spring into place without spilling a drop of American blood and with no consequence to global economic stability. The naïveté is absolutely galling but its to be expected given that there is not ONE person in the entire Trump administration with any kind of relevant education or experience to know WTF they are talking about.
-
When Trump invaded Venezuela supposedly to rid them of a “narco-terrorist” regime, he ended up keeping the narcoterrorists in power and just naming himself as their new leader. Meanwhile there’s been zero change to the amount of cocaine in USA. So now will Trump try to appoint himself ayatollah of Iran?
-
Only a MAGA needs more than 15 hours to write some words on a sign…..and yet they are still full of spelling errors.
-
1) There is no viable pipeline route from pakistan to china due to terrain and political instability and therefore no concrete plans 2) any such pipeline would only be a drop in the bucket of what China needs or what iran can produce and Iranian oil is heavily sanctioned so they wouldn’t be “controlling the oil supply” Fake news. MAGA is rife with antisemites.
-
1). If the nuclear program was really as obliterated as Trump first claimed then Iran would be years or decades away from reconstituting it so there would be no need to rush to attack. That can’t be the reason 2) Republicans and especially MAGA are the ones who oppose being “the world’s policemen” fighting foreign wars to save the lives of foreigners. Nobody cares LESS about thousands of foreigners dying than MAGAs so that can’t be the reason either. Republicans have always been the warmongering party the only time they ever pretended to be the peace party was when MAGAs called for Ukraine to surrender to Russia and to make phoney insincere complaints about Obama drone strikes even as Trump set a new record for drone strikes during his first administration. . And when they opposed intervention during the Rwandan genocide. Oh and also when they opposed fighting Hitler. Trumps statement supposedly justifying the attack reads just like Hamas’s justification for the October 7 attack on Israel, in that it was mostly a rehashing of old well-worn complaints that have been around for decades, not as a reaction to some new recent event. Like Putin, he waited until the Olympics are over to make the move he always intended to make. Is Cuba next? He placed an embargo on them for no apparent reason other historical grievances. Who else is going to learn the true meaning of the FIFA Peace Prize through air strikes?
-
Trump is earning his FIFA peace prize again. Everyone remembers all these attacks being part of Trump’s election campaign right? Whats hilarious is he bombed Iran the first time he claimed the had obliterated their nuclear program and MAGAs all screamed media conspiracy when the media reported it hadn’t done much damage at all. But now apparently the justification for more attacks is that nuclear program is still intact after all.
