All the sci-fi I watched as a kid prepared me for this. Even the worst B rate sci-fi from the 50s ad 60s told us this would happen!

And it failed. Simple as that. His claims about January's deaths were also on par with other nations. He saw what was going on, did not like it, but did not want to shut the economy down because of it and then berated Pelosi for standing with people in Chinatown (San Fran?). He kept going on about January, skipped over the month of February and then talking about the numbers in March. Even his video shows nothing in February. National Emergency was only stated on March 13. His own video shows his failures. Gotta hand it to him for making everything being about him. That's top notch narcissism.

Very different things. The virus does not care about anyone's partisanship. This is something that affects the whole nation. If Trump takes no responsibility, then he is a failed leader. The whole Russiagate affair was total bunk to start with. Trump should not take responsibility there because of the Dems inability to produce a valid argument with any kind of evidence. It may not be his fault, but as a leader of a nation, he should step up and take the responsibility of his administration's failure.

Did Trudeau Fail His Country On Covid-19
New World Disorder replied to WestCanMan's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I'd be wary of the tests and who is producing them. If Canada has developed it's own tests, I would hope it would be consistent in the results. However I do see there are many different tests. As long as we stay away from the Chinese developed tests, which have been reported to have major problems (70% failure rate), then we might have an idea of how wide spread this is. I believe that most have already experienced it in one way or another and it would appear that most of us are already immune to this new strain. Depends on how draconian you want to get. Trading privacy for security means you get neither. I'd also want security experts to weigh in on the security of such an application before it's launched as this has the potential for a lot of abuse. -
Just CBC's coverage?

Yes I understand I did not post a video. I said I could not find it. But if you are only looking for a video as evidence, then you might be missing something else.
-
You made this claim. Could not find the video, but there are plenty of articles. False. Your other claim in this thread was Actually lots of history regarding SNC's corrupt past was reported in many Canadian news sources Interesting that I used a CBC article to prove this as incorrect. Trudeau tried as best he could to keep SNC from going to court. With that corruption in SNC, how confident are you in using that bridge?

Sneezing, coughing and spitting at people are the new threat. Already people have been brought up on terrorism charges during this pandemic. https://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/us-charges-terror-crimes-threats-spread-virus-70052376 The main killer now I think is how many lives are at risk because of many surgeries not taking place. All while hospitals are claiming they are empty. https://www.ctvnews.ca/health/coronavirus/all-of-our-rooms-are-empty-hospital-ers-vacant-during-pandemic-1.4918208 Many people are afraid of the virus and won't even go to the hospital for a medical emergency.

Here is to blame for this Everyone. Every single person in a position of authority are to blame. China and Xi are to blame, the WHO and the UN are to blame. Trump, Trudeau and many other heads of nations are to blame. Trump may have done SOME good things, but he cannot escape blame by saying 'I take no responsibility'. Well as the POTUS, yes you take the blame by default. How one handles that shows what kind of leader they are. Obviously Trump cares more about his ratings than the virus.

North American Food Supply Issues
New World Disorder replied to Boges's topic in Business and Economy
I have some friends who work in the grocery stores, and this can be scaled into the whole supply chain. People are afraid to come into work. Partly because of the virus, partly because people are acting dumb and the store workers safety is at risk (aka physical harm). Since most of the stores are running with reduced staff, you can bet that is happening across all supply chains. Less workers in the stores, less truckers on the road, less people in the warehouse, less people in the packing plants. Those people also told me that some of the smaller stores will close because the staff is not there, or the store is so small, physical distancing is impossible. Putting more stress on the bigger stores since there will be fewer options. I've been more strategic with my grocery acquisition. Going once every two weeks if I can. Certain products are always vacant from the shelves. Even first thing in the mornings. But that supply won't be shored up anytime soon. I guess we can see more shortages of certain products over the next month or so, if things don't get rolling again. -

Notice in Mad Max, they never asked for toilet paper. -
If you play the ostrich game then yes, you would not have heard of it. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/fournier-charged-snc-lavalin-1.3657923 Ok so the video should be easy to find since I was able to find this in a quick search. It does not match exactly what you are looking for, but it should do for now.

https://www.factcheck.org/2020/03/dems-misconstrue-trump-budget-remarks/ Then I am guessing you had not even read the article you posted as it says who disbanded the pandemic team. That team was under this group. Disbanded, and never replaced. Oh this is interesting.. from your article. Looks like that office capacity was reduced through several administrations. Evan Fauci admits the failures. Yes , characterize it as a mistake, because that is what it was. Before you go off on me about the Dems again, they are also to blame here.

Absolutely. Nations need to be more self reliant, this globalism experiment has failed. -
Donald Trump vs Joe Biden
New World Disorder replied to August1991's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
The Dems never had an intention of winning, or they would have all backed Sanders from the start. -
Donald Trump vs Joe Biden

No love for Biden, but to watch his continued mental decline is very sad. Then there are those who ran against him are now supporting him. This is who they want to represent Americans? -
I am not dumb enough to believe that my opinion actually matters here. Let's also consider how many falsehoods Trump himself has put forward over the past 2-3 months. Even contradicting himself on many things. Are the Dems to blame for Trump 'sarcastically' saying that they are looking into injecting disinfectant? The Dems and the Reps both peddle in propaganda. The Dems could win, if they had gone with Sanders. Anyone but Sanders will mean 4 more years of Trump. There is a reason they are called corporate democrats.
