I don't recall any other nation having this many 'accidents' related to viruses like COVID. And are we simply going to ignore this latest failure of the communist party? Simply look at what havoc this has created globally. Every single person on this board has been affected by the CCPs failure to notify the world in time to stop a global pandemic that decimated the global economy at the same time. I'd even consider it an act of war from China. The CCP is responsible for over 200k deaths globally. And Canada can do it, it just means some of our 'friends/allies' will think different, so we cannot be scared to go our own way. We just need to prepare for it.

China uses Chinese travelers and students as a way to spy on other nations and to steal intellectual property. It's also know that the CCP will threaten these travelers and students, that if they don't do something for China, their family is at risk back home, the CCP will simply jail family members to hold that grip. I believe we seriously need to consider who comes here from China. And if you want to talk racism, you should see how Nigerians are being treated in China. Propaganda about saying that the virus came from the black man. Many have been evicted from their homes and are now on the street. Which will mean the police will simply round them up, and use them in slave labour camps as they have done with the Uyghurs. The CCP is a threat to Chinese political asylum seekers everywhere. They will ruthlessly hunt them down and threaten them somehow. So even if we had some of those people in Canada, the CCP would do what they can to make their lives hell. No it would not be racist, that would simply be a smart move to ban Chinese citizens from entering Canada. We are living in a global pandemic spawned by the CCP causing many nations economic hardships like no one has ever seen before. I'd classify this as terrorism from China. Spreading the virus and then lying about it. They tried to blame the US, calling Pompeo a political virus and trying to say it originated in the USA. I read recently they also tried to pin it on France. One cannot trust the CCP or anyone who is being or can be controlled by them. Lets see some actual elections in China and some move towards a democratic state instead of the totalitarian and authoritarian regime that currently rules China.

Basing this on a few things. They are over classifying the virus cases. Meaning it's almost like a dragnet. Hospitals are marking down death by covid even if the cause of death is not the virus itself. Meaning a person who has covid and dies of a heart attack, the death is marked as due to covid. That seems like they are intentionally hiding the numbers. Testing has been not been consistent or very accurate among the tests available. In Quebec , about 1/3 of the death rate are related to long term care homes revealing the absolute negligence in said care homes. Now they are under criminal investigation and the army was called to step in. So really the medical experts do not have a clue as to how much or little of a problem this is. The testing, reporting and categorizing is different across the board. If you consider the notion that this is very communicable (spreads quickly), there would have been people in North American infected long before China even declared it a problem. Meaning it was already here in Canada weeks before the government decided to take any action. So a good chance, this thing has spread through the world and there is really no stopping it. Most of the people who get it .. I stress MOST, will recover. Just like any other coronovirus types, only the ones with underlying health issues are going to be mostly affected.

I find it astounding the amount of side stepping our collective leaders have been on this whole issue. Delaying action while waiting for the WHO to say what is what. And then our leaders failing, each in their own special way on how they handled the problem. The optics from the west appear to be verify different from the Asian Pacific nations who have no problem calling China out for what they are. Why are our leaders hesitant to do so? They clearly want to, but they know China has the capacity and the nerve to make things difficult for nations that rely on them for much of manufacturing via slave labour. China is holding those nations hostage because of it. And I hope this means Canada will bring more manufacturing back to Canada. We simply cannot trust what comes out of the Chinese Communist Party.
