  1. Doesn't apply in the EC. You are talking about house districts, which aren't part of the EC.
  2. It is not fixed in favor of Republicans. The Republicans used to do well in cities, and the EC played to Democrats advantage when the South was their stronghold. The Democrats have simply decided they'd now rather do well in the cities, then exploit the fact that winning more rural states is a more efficient way of winning the EC, and Republicans adopted the Democrats old strategy. Nothing is stopping Republicans or Democrats from changing strategies to exploit rural voters punching above their weight in the EC, in fact it has happened in the past. Both parties know the rules, crying when one side loses by claiming they won a metric that doesn't matter, is just being a sore loser. The EC isn't broken, but the butthurt losers who want to change the system, every time a Republican POTUS doesn't win the popular vote, they are broken.
  3. They always say that, and they never do. Millenials aren't going to kill Trump, they just think they are. They are going to be very disappointed. Trump ain't done, as usual, reports of his demise have been greatly exaggerated by wishful thinkers.
  4. It's not outdated, it served a purpose then, it serves a purpose now. People being aware of what's happening in Washington has nothing to do with the Electoral College. It's purpose is so that people in major cities can't so easily drown out the voices of those who live in more rural areas as they would under a popular vote. The entire point of the EC is that the founders didn't want a popular vote to decide who gets to be President. The President is supposed to be the President of all Americans, not just the President of the majority of voters in the big cities, who can easily ignore the needs of people in flyover country.
  5. It won't go bad for him. Don't have to be Usain Bolt to outrun the Democrats in 2020, that's a cakewalk, especially for an incumbent POTUS.
  6. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. It does what it was designed to do, and that function is still quite valuable today. The EC shouldn't always reflect the popular vote, that isn't a problem.
  7. Ain't hard to stay in the swamp when the competition is Beto O'Rourke, especially in Texas.
  8. You're going to be disappointed when they do.
  9. Whoever wins the most votes in a state is awarded a number of points, whoever scores the most points becomes the President. The National Popular Vote totals does not determine the President, nor should it.
  10. First Past The Post isn't decided by popular vote and neither is the Electoral College. That's a good thing.
  11. If Canada only had two parties, you can still win without gaining the majority of votes, you just need enough votes to win in most of the ridings, the popular vote is irrelevant in Canada too. Running up the margins of victory in a riding doesn't win them any extra seats. Canada didn't always have three major parties, they used to have two, and that's how it worked.
  12. Having three major parties, is no reason to get up on a high horse, that just means there is more vote splitting, whoop dee do.
  13. No True Scotsman. Just because most white supremacists don't seem very Christian to you doesn't mean most of them aren't Christians. It's not misleading.
  14. That is for house seats, I know of the gerrymandering to which you are referring, and it has nothing to do with the electoral college. I suggest you actually understand the Electoral College, before acting like you are an expert on it, who should just dismiss what I am saying out of hand.
  15. Popular vote is not the deciding factor, because the number of seats is, and that isn't based on the popular vote, it's based on first past the post. Has nothing to do with having more than two parties.
  16. That's not the EC. The Electoral College is divided along state lines, not district lines. The GOP didn't gerrymander it, the rules were in place before the GOP even existed, shows what you know.
  17. You aren't a fan of the truth, I'm aware. The EC is gerrymandered to give more representation to smaller states, nothing is stopping the Democrats from trying to win over more rural voters, they just choose not to. It's not Republicans fault the Democrats votes are concentrated in areas that they don't need to win, that's on Democrats.
  18. Nor should you. Electoral College FTW, people only claim it's a problem when a Republican wins, don't listen to those pro-Democrat hacks.
  19. No it's not. The Electoral College works just fine, popular vote is irrelevant. Trump lost a game he wasn't playing, whoop dee do, that's like crying your team lost the football game while having more yards than the other team but scored less points, time to revamp the system.
  20. Can't prove a negative. Just because you can't disprove he meddled with the Russians, doesn't mean he meddled with Russians. Innocent until proven guilty, and they got nothing so far, and they aren't going to find anything, just watch.
  21. Pointing out that most white supremacists are Christians isn't inaccurate.
  22. Yeah I have proof, look up russian trolls backing BLM to divide Americans. The meddling sought to hurt both sides, and divide Americans, it was not one sided for Trump.
  23. Russian troll facebook ads did not swing the election, there is zero proof of that. In fact the Russian trolls played for both sides, not just for Trump. Russian interference in the election did not change the outcome.
  24. So when the Mueller report is made public, and there is no proof of collusion, where will you move the goalposts then? My guess, "they didn't release it all, wait until the entire thing is declassified, and until then, guilty until proven innocent." or "Mueller was in the bag for Trump the whole time, or he would have found something to indict him on.". Clowns.
