Can't deport all illegal immigrants until you know they are illegal immigrants, that's what the process is for. You might not like that it takes too long or costs too much money, but there isn't a better alternative.

Anyone paying attention knows that media is full of chit when they say Trump lies significantly more than most Presidents. People who aren't paying attention think the "fact checkers" aren't biased, and the media is right and Trump lies more than any politician in the history of time. Trump taking lying to the next level, the media says that about every Republican President, or Presidential candidate, fake news is obvious. You are being lied to, and not just by Trump.

"ZOMG Trump Lied!" and "ZOMG Hypocrite!" are the two weakest lines of attack there is on Donald Trump, literally the worst of the Anti-Trump material. If that's the best you got, then you make an even weaker case than most of his biggest haters, and that's saying something, since they are quite counter-productive in their approach.

All politicians lie through their teeth, stop focusing on their words, start focusing on their actions. Attacking a politician for lying is weak sauce, because you can attack any politician for that, even the best ones. Pointing out that a politician is lying is Captain Obvious material, it shows zero insight into politics whatsoever, nor does it have anything to do with how well or how poorly that politician is performing. If telling lies wasn't of benefit to politicians, they wouldn't do it so often, but it is, so they do.

Sometimes the right answer is a simple answer.

Deport them after their claim is processed and denied, problem solved. Don't even have to change the law, that's already on the books.

Canada's birth rate isn't high enough, if Canadian's don't have enough kids, then bringing in immigrants will be necessary to keep the population growing. Those immigrants are brought in by a merit based immigration system, for the most part, refugees are not the bulk of immigrants. Too many refugees can be a drain on resources, but most economic migrants add to the Canadian economy and reducing that kind of immigration makes little sense. Too many Canadians mistake American immigration policy for Canadian immigration policy, and project American problems on the Canadian system.

Most of the voters are nincompoops, if you viewed things through that frame, Trump's success wouldn't surprise you as much as it does. Just because he lost the popular vote doesn't mean most voters are super informed and that's the main reason why more voters voted for Clinton. That's an unfounded assumption that gives way too much credit to the general electorate, as well as the Democrats and Clinton in 2016, when they clearly shit the bed and had a god awful campaign.

Trump was out of the box in the 2016 Presidential campaign, he went on all the networks back then, and he wasn't torn to shreds, just the opposite. The media tried their hardest and only made him stronger, billions in free media coverage, they thought it would bury him because it was over 90% negative, but that didn't happen, they played right into the hands of the ultimate media troll. You have the political memory of a goldfish, that wasn't even three years ago, and you've forgotten already. Either that, or you're such a political noob that you never even knew in the first place.

They are also the only major news network who aren't in the bag for his political enemies, so that too. He used to go on CNN and MSNBC, but they burned their bridges with Trump long ago, with their incredibly biased coverage, so he doesn't anymore. I don't remember Obama going on FOX all the time either, nah, he preferred to go on late night talk shows who asked him softball questions too, or news networks that are heavily biased in favor of Democrats Politicians prefer to go on news networks that will spin things in a more favorable light for them, who knew?

Like I say, CNN and MSNBC are far worse than FOX. However I am not saying FOX is Usain Bolt, I'm saying CNN and MSNBC can barely crawl, so FOX doesn't have to walk very fast to look good in comparison.
