The only thing rough about Joe Biden's road to the nomination is the potential for self inflicted wounds, it's his nomination to lose, because the field is so weak. The far-left ain't that mad at Obama, but they are mad at Republicans for obstructing Obama, and they ignore his Bush like qualities, even when they screeched about them under Bush endlessly, because they are partisan hacks who look the other way when their guy does it. If they could, they'd vote for Obama again, in a heartbeat, especially against Donald Trump.

If the right isn't united, they can't win, and even when they are, they usually lose. The left doesn't need to be that united to win, but when they aren't, it opens the door for the right to win.

The vast majority of those who call themselves progressives wouldn't know progress if it slapped them in the face, so they champion extremist causes because there are no real civil rights issues to go after anymore. They consider anyone slightly to the right of them as alt-right nazi's, projecting their own extremism on their political opponents to help themselves feel better about their hypocritical actions.

America is the richest country on the planet. Anyone who thinks it's a dirty third world nation, doesn't know what America is really like, doesn't know what the dirty third world is like, or both. Giving these people peace of mind should not be a priority. If America was gone there would not be peace, what kind of silly pipe dream is that? You think America is the only nation who fights wars or something? Without America, nations who are far worse would fill the vacuum, that is not a desirable outcome, for Canada, or the rest of the world. You tunnel vision on America's negatives, and don't look anywhere near as closely at the negatives of other countries, and this has warped your perception of America.
