The two united would make a nasty line with Kapanen on either wing. -

Yup, I wish the higher ups in Montréal were better than Bergevin. He's not too bad, he's just average, but I would rather have Julien Brisebois as GM. -
The new Ontarian Islamic Party

Not all Muslims are Islamists... Gosh, that's so wrong on so many levels, so where do I start? Are you really knowledgeable on Islam, first off? Do I really have to say that all Islamists are Muslims? Do I have to talk about the concept of Djihad, which is a fundamental aspect of the religion? No, not all Muslims are Islamists, but every Muslim who follows the religion supports Islamists, since they are pursuing a holy war. It's the undeniable truth, you can't say I'm wrong on that; I know the texts, I read some of them. A Muslim, who's a true believer has only one and only goal; to pursue Jihad so every human follows the rules of the Quran so that the world becomes Heaven, thus people calling it the Religion of Peace, as the end goal is a prosperous society where all Humans are united under one rule rather than just destruction with no end in sight. It has been like that since the start, and always has been. Islam in its essence is a war religion. It is legal for you, if you're a Muslim, to have many sexual slaves, as the religion was codified during the times where the first Muslims were raping their way through the Middle East and Northern Africa. Christianity and Judaism changed a lot since they first started, and are now completely different things from where they were even 60 years ago. Catholics evolved a lot. Sunnis? Did they evolve in their doctrines? Being Jewish and being a Zionist is not the same as saying you're a Christian or you're a Devout Christian so to speak. Zionism is your opinion on the State of Israel, being Jewish is being part of the religion called Judaism. But with Muslims and Islamists, the beliefs are fundamentally the same, but the call to action and the degree of belief in faith is differing, the Islamists are like the Devout Christians. The Devout Christians are Christians. The Islamists are Muslims. -

Sir, I do. I do every day since about 2015, when I went to an University where there were lots and lots of Muslims, and Jews, and Asians, etc. I even have friends from Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Morocco, Algeria who are Muslims, and also Canadians who I work with and am friends with that are Muslims. The belief system of a Muslim doesn't change. It is immutable, since it is a totalitarian religious doctrine written so it is the last word of God. A Sunni Muslim from 1000AD has the same core beliefs than the Sunni Muslim of 2019. The Sunni Muslim also practices the same way and his doctrine hasn't changed, since Islam has no clergy so to speak as there is in Christianity. A Christian from 1000 AD may have nothing to do with the Christian in 2019 with all the Reforms and ways the Institutions changed. The only difference between a backward radical Muslim and a well adapted, good citizen who happens to be a Muslim, is the degree to which the practitioner believes literally what is written word by word in the Quran. -
Quebec Premier calls for more European immigrants

Not at all. You give us money, we take it, and we bully you into giving us more or else we separate and we give the excuse of being a minority to get more. I don't think you quite get that the ones who run the country really are the Québécois politically. -

HAHAHA Like the UKSSA has any importance whatsoever. What is Justin Trudeau? A Québécois. Who was Martin? Another Québécois. Who was Jean Chrétien? Another Québécois. Who was Mulroney? Another Québécois. Who was PET? Another Québécois. If you think that the English rule Canada, who pays 10 billions a year just so Québec stays in Canada? Ypu. And we're proud of it, by the way and will do everything so that stays the same. -

Legault is right. Stop with the Haitians and Algerian influx and have real workers here rather than welfare parasites. -

That's exactly what I feared. The Islamists are going to present themselves as moderate-light Islamists comparable to the ones who took power in Turkey earlier in the 2ks and now dominate everything in a dictatorship. ¸ Let me explain their plan, which is pretty simple; They want to steal the votes from muslims who traditionally vote pro-Business/pro-family parties such as the PCP (progressive-conservative party) of Ontario, and make it so they look like Christian Conservatives -people who don't bomb buses and don't beat their wives usually- to subvert to their real intentions. This Party is very well organized, it is obviously funded, it has a website already and a platform. Here on their website they're stating that they are endorsing the PCP's stance about the Resolution R4. It is a very well calculated move. They can't push for too much religious bs or else even the left wingers are going to denounce them, so they just come out as soft and having light stances. Islamists do that everywhere. It happened in Turkey, they're doing the same right now as we're speaking in Tunisia too. https://www.islamicontario.ca/We-Endorse-PCP-Resolution-R4_333.html DO NOT underestimate this party. It obviously has many brillant people in it who are, let me remind you, fighting a holy war in their head. They won't stop. They will push, push, push. Ontarians, be worried. -
How come there could not be an NHL thread for this forum? 1) What do you think of the William Nylander signature? Is he a bust in your mind or is he just getting through a rough period of his life, too much pressure right now or something psychological? 2) What do you think of the Montréal Canadiens surprisingly okayish season so far, when everyone including me excluded from a playoffs spot, and by far? 3) Trade deadline; Right-handed defenseman for the Leafs? A lefty for the Canadiens? Pietrangelo for Toronto? Jake Muzzin to Montréal? -------- 1) I think he's way overpaid and he should have been traded. Nylander is a number 2 center, with great offensive upside but rather weak physically and he doesn't have the defensive reliability other centers in the Leafs line-up have. Marner, Matthews, Tavares, Kadri all seem to be better 2-ways around the ice than Nylander, and in every aspect. Kadri is grittier than Nylander and has the hands and speed. I still don't get how they didn't trade Nylander for a right handed defenseman earlier this year. 2) I think they will manage to get an 8th or 9th spot at best, and wouldn't get past round 2 in the playoffs, if they get there in the first place. Montréal is full of speedy wingers -with no hands-, unreliable defensemen except for Shea Weber, and a top notch goalie who happens to be human sadly, so ups and downs are a common thing. I hoped they wouldn't be in that spot at the start of the year just so they could draft a stud, oh well, now the Canadiens don't have such a good future ahead. 3) Pietrangelo seems a bit expensive, cap-wise and the Leafs would have to get it at least for a firt rounder and minimum one prospect. Max Pacioretty of the Montréal Canadiens, who was also a captain, was traded for a 2nd round pick AND Nick Suzuki (1st rounder looking extremely slick and talented) AND Tomas Tatar, who's been playing so far so good with the Habs. Oh and I should say... GO HABS GO

-I don't know what he says, but as long as he looks good. Heard from a female student in Montréal, 2015, the year she voted for him. -

No the Romans were ethnically coming from Rome, and fought the Etruscans who were a League of small tribes in the north-west of Italy, than fought the Greeks that had colonies in the South of Italy, then we all know the rest. The Romans are ethnically Romans and did not let the barbarians decide the political process for example. The Roman conquered the Carthaginians, and never have you seen a Carthaginian become the head of the Roman Empire or Republic.

I'm all ears for hearing the good sides of immigration, there are a lot of good people that make this country a better place having them. My family is composed of French (France, I have no Québecer blood in me at all) and Brazilians, and the latter I would consider it a s-hole, but my grand-father who was white attended the best universities and became an architect here for the government of Québec. My parents are two foreigners. Yet, I am totally against unlimited, unchecked immigration. Because I know how the people in foreign countries are, sadly, and like here, some of the people aren't considered as a good addition to society.
