  1. I support the military industrial complex actually. A lot of the innovation we use today from internet to modern medicine and space has roots in military funding. The future with quantum technology, artificial intelligence, robotics and hyper sonic are all DOD stuff bud. Nothing wrong with having a strong military to deter aggression. In fact that's the biggest contributor to world peace something you critics fail to recognize.
  2. Yes i notice that problem when I visited Vancouver to see a friend. A lot of the chinese immigrant there live as though they are still in china, many not learning the language and opting to hang around their own countrymen. The same could be said for America but not nearly to this degree of non assimilation. My friend who lived in Vancouver for 10 years said that you can stay here without ever needing to learn english.
  3. I believe in equal opportunity not legislative equality or statistical equality or any entitlement mentality. Especially when it comes to immigration, illegal immigration is unfair to those who are willing to put up with the time, effort and large amount of money to go through our long vetting process. Immigration is not a right, it is a privilege and opportunity the host nation has graciously offer. How that host nation decides who gets in is up to the policy maker. But immigrants are in no position to "demand" anything. For the love of Vishnu could you not reply with an essay. Please just keep it concise and to the point, I don't see the need for long convoluted examples. No offense, just really difficult to read an essay on my mobile device while praising our dear leader Trump
  4. I wonder what would happen if we decided to take over Canada by force. You guys are already 90 percent brainwashed with American propaganda and have no real standing military. The opportunity to install a dictator ship in Canada ran by Alex Jones is too good an opportunity to pass.
  5. This sounds like a desperate measure. You can avoid all this by submitting to Trump and admitting that you are all his subject. Seriously though, if you guys don't reform your trading system, cut back on government program, deregulate, you'll turn into Venezuela.
  6. That't wouldn't be possible, you'll be immediately shot upon hand chaining in texas, man love has yet to be widely accepted in the rural parts.
  7. Freedom ain't free. It cost a buck o five as we like to say it here in the south. We see Canada's reciprocal tariff as a childish temper tantrum. Big brother is doing what's good for you Canada, stop fighting it. Remove your supply management and barriers. Open your self up to trump. He will lead you to greatness.
  8. Looks like uncle Sam is definitely not sleeping while future threat to American Hegemony looms. The army just bought some new light armored vehicle with upgrades for energy weapon ( lasers pew pew). " The Army is accelerating these kinds of armored vehicle weapons systems and countermeasures, in part because of an unambiguous recognition that, whoever the US Army fights, it is quite likely to encounter Russian or Chinese-built armored vehicles and advanced weaponry, senior service leaders told Warrior. As part of this equation, recognizing that Army warfighters are often understandably reluctant to articulate war plans or threat assessments, it is indeed reasonable and relevant to posit that service war planners are looking at the full-range of contingencies – to include ground war with Russian forces in Europe, Iranian armies in the Middle East or even Chinese armored vehicles on the Asian continent. 9. What if we promises to rejoin the tree hug..er i mean paris accord to sweeten the deal. Will you then do bilateral free trade where possible(excluding national security industries etc..)?
  10. Yup wealth has the same effect. Affluenza as they call it.
  11. Its actually true. Its a lot easier for them to get loan. Because they have no credit the government give them this ability.
  12. Yeah mate, I don't know why you wanted to bring the second law of thermal into this but people are just lazy ,mainly because they have these fall back safety net you liberals keep wanting to give them. There's no incentive to work harder if you can get free food, housing and other services. The fear of poverty is a treadmill, a good one too.
  13. Hmm interesting views. I see immigration as a solution to a shrinking native population, something America has been very good at. Often times legal immigrant work harder and are more productive then people who are born here with all the advantages it carries.
  14. If you take in unskilled immigrants ie the illegals or refugees, that's what going to happen. I'm not saying that this is morally right but again, America has no obligation to do the impossible, we do our best. And the best is to make sure you limit or control the number of refugee/asylum seeker/ unskilled labor you allow into the country at any given point in time. The only way to do that is to secure the border. Because when you allow refugee in you have to make sure they're able to take care of themselves and contribute to society, obviously this isn't realistic in the short term because they'll often have no skill, language barrier and no financial capital. So the country can only handle/absorb so many of these "charity" cases per year.
  15. Once again, trump is trying to fix all that with zero tariff, subsidies and barriers. Complete free trade when it comes to non national security interest.
  16. Nope they are two sides to the same coin.
  17. That's the point, the individual and the state are one. They're part of a whole. No man is an island to them selves.
  18. Valid point, its because politician have a short term incentive to do protectionist agenda. But they're hurting themselves and the rest of the world in the long term. Look at america. We have the lowest trade barrier out of all the countries and we have the best economy because of it. Obviously there are vital strategic industries you do need to keep but dairy is definitely not one of them.
  19. Actually steve job is businessman you might say with out Steve Wozniak, an American engineer, Steve Job wouldn't have made apple. Without the education and freedom these people enjoy, apple would not have been possible, Steve Job is a people pusher nothing more, nothing less. You're once again not recognizing the system that produce these individual.
  20. make no mistake, that mustache can start war.
  21. Its not smart, trump is proposing free trade across the G7 countries. Seriously think about if we all take down our barriers then our countries will prosper
  22. Ah I see the conundrum that Canada has. It tries to protect these different culture and ethnic background but doing so has also preventing it from melting into pot like we have in America. We are all immigrant on this land but we see our selves as American first and ethnic origin second.
  23. We will see, its too soon to draw conclusion. But the point is this, we gave the Korean a chance in a life time to prove their resolve and rejoin the international community. So you Anti-Trumper can't say he didn't try...
  24. Interesting perspective. I will say that most Americans want to have a secured border. Where they divide is what to do with the ones already here. Trump is deporting those with criminal background (minor drug offenses too).
