Nice that this posted as an Opinion post and not 'news'
Likely because the columnist is spreading little b*llshits throughout. A news site is telling me that the ban is on misleading advertising....
It would be great for free speech if those who valued it actually paid attention to being honest.
Never heard of this one before. Seems oddly opportunist since he ran for the Federal Liberals (?) and posted some pretty strong anti-Trump stuff. Ah well.Everything Liberal/NDP is good . . . for you.
Carry on.

Humans already did and you claim they can't.
Good one. Wouldn't thousands of rocket launched a day turn the planet into a greenhouse in a week. Then you could still deny, deny, deny as you dry out like a beef jerky.
Meds need yet another adjustment? What's your point?

.... kind of like me thinking about liberals heads exploding in my mind, it is a beautiful sight, in reality it just does not matter what I think, no heads are going to explode ...
Neon neck . . . puts a smile on my face when thinking of the gutless dork PM.

Darkside of the moon would be a great place to establish garbage dumps. Solar powered cargo rockets full of trash.
Old tires and mountains of collected plastic in your backyard? . . . off to the launch pad with you! Rocket away your trash. Outta' sight, outta' mind.
Fleets of garbage rockets lifting off every sunny day . . . what could be better than that?

What made you decide? I never liked Trump either, but it’s hard to trust what’s on offer, so it’s a choice of the lesser of evils.
Just curious . . . If Donald Trump had a balding man's short haircut, and spoke in a calm manner in public, had not gone on social media, and generally exuded a calm and happy countenance . . . would you like him?
Were his policies anti-American, as our PM's policies are anti-Canadian? Did Trump have the American citizens best interests in mind? How bad was he overall, or is a visual impression . . . ??

I would have been happier if no one else had voted for them too.
It's not my fault its so funny how silly hating them makes you people.
Nothing's your fault . . . you've shown your distaste and arrogance for anyone willing to question and try to break the ever increasing seep of government into everyday lives. To use your overused term . . . 'you people' in reference to you eyeball, you're what's part of the big problem Canada has.

I think I'll bookmark this. Should I wait until you say its appropriate before saying the same think when it's Poilievre's turn to take responsibility?
Like you I'm looking forward to seeing the sun stop and reverse direction following his election.
You're a very unhappy person. Why are you so embedded with the federal Liberals when they've underachieved to the degree they have? What would make you happy?

We should all care about when the government abuses its power and infringes on people's Charter rights. Sadly it just seems most people only care about it depending on whether they agree with the agenda, but that's not how the rule of law works.
The sad part is that there are no repercussions for Trudeau's countless failures . . . blackface, groping, lying, etc., etc.

Oddly enough I'm identified as the master at work. It says Master on my certificate and its even capitalized for effect. Women and people of colour are all expected to follow my commands, it even says so on their certificates. That said they can be Masters too so...it's a funny quirky little boat I live on isn't it?

Of all my family members who traditionally vote Tory, every single one was screaming at the TV for Trudeau to clear the bums out. All retained the mental clarity to distinguish a protest from what it had turned into. Dream on, Harper would've reacted at least as harshly but much sooner.
And he had the nuts to distinguish himself and conservatism from that mod of mor0ns.
A 'real' leader would have met with the convoy . . . . Trudeau is a gutless dork.
Stay calm, chive on!

I wonder what the consequences are for this. He'll lose the next election, and Freeland will go down with him, but surely it should be more than just a public recrimination and stern finger-wag...
I had zero sympathy for the Truckers and their protest (particularly at the Ambassador Bridge), but it was retarded that it needed the Emergencies Act to remove them.
A real PM or President would have met with the truckers and tried to find a solution. Justin went into withdrawal (hiding) and spat insults at them. What a gutless dork.

And besides, the thread is about Canada (the country that adopted you - remember), not about Iraq.
If you don't like it here and hate the people, you could always just f'k off. Savvy?

Wait, are you questioning the scientific knowledge of Greta Thunberg and Leonardo DiCaprio? HERESY!!!!!!
If man-made global warming isn't real then why does Justin Trudeau buy carbon offsets for the jumbo jet that he flies his media sycophants around in?
Do you buy carbon offsets? Are you a good guy, hewbie? You must have wads of cash from your unbelievably successful home renovation business. Why not just buy carbon offsets anyways, to save the world?
Just so ya know, I actually have a carbon offset company. Here are some pictures of some of the trees that I planted:
Planted last April:
A picture of one of my tree farms:
One of my urban sites. This used to be one big city but I demolished some buildings to plant trees - that's how much I love them:
Here's a before and after picture of some trees I planted at the oil sands in Alberta, where people are so racist that they don't get vaccinated, and they even drive trucks, if you can believe it:
Pretty good, hey? Who do you think planted all those trees if not me?
I'm a pretty busy guy, as you can see, but I need more money or the planet will die by February 19th.
Logger here . . . you plant them, I harvest them. Can't have .second growth' until the 'first growth' is gone. 🌳⛽

This is the sort of issue that Poilievre will 'focus' his time on fixing - a convenient distraction while making the world even safer for the 1%.
Clairvoyant? Just more assumptions?

When you have a foot dragging, absolute obstructionist like Smith in power who's sole policy is to bash Ottawa, Albertans can look forward to entire term of foot dragging and regressive proposals. Supported by the dimwits that can only see part of something, refuse to see or even admit there can be more to it, and simply object to anything they consider new or different.
Any hydro projects, nuclear, geothermal, electrical storage planned or under construction? Why the f*ck not? Just keep listening to people who think you can only make electricity from coal., gas or oil.
Why the hate for Alberta and Premier D. Smith? She's doing what's good for her province.
Anger management and meds not really working out for you?

The CPC has always been about power to the provinces. Keep the feds out of provincial matters unless you really have to get involved. So his attitude would be "if you don't like fish farms talk to your premier". And that is the correct answer.

The vision of that Nazi scumbag leaving the PMO - whether that's in the form of him making a concession speech or whatever other fate befalls him - will hold a special place in my heart forever.
I liken Justin Trudeau to that pile of dog crap you've just stepped in . . . no matter how many times you scrape your shoe, the stench remains.

After being such a disruptive P.I.T.A. so often the RCMP recognize him on sight.
And all the fools referring to him as a 'journalist'...The mental evaluation you need is probably covered by medical insurance. Take advantage.

It says right in the article we're surrounded by 3 oceans with a friendly giant next door - Canadians simply don't feel threatened and why should we? No matter which way we look the world's conflicts are halfway around the planet and people there obviously don't mind or they would have done something about it. If we need to we can always field one of the world's largest armed forces again. We've done it before, have a little faith.
China likes Canada, and especially the Liberal Party of Canada . . . no army needed. Just a wink and handshake. Deal done!
NDP bill would prescribe jail terms for speaking well of fossil fuels

Dare to comment on how much better a Caterpillar belly scraper (building yet another hydro dam so the MH's in this world can plug in their EV's) does the job burning diesel fuel, greased and even painted with a petroleum product so much better than a solar powered/electric machine . . . wtf
Guessing those Liberal wankers and brain-dead penguins that think up this crap have never been in any industry that makes the wheels of this country go 'round. Pffffft!
