Nobody should be there protesting up in front of the police line let alone a fragile old woman. I saw her on the news. Those protesters have been warned countless times to go home and what they're doing is illegal, maybe criminal. A lot of them will be arrested and charged because of their stupidity. I admit, I don't think the police should have ridden their horses through the crowd though. Not sure what the reason for that was. Hopefully they will be told not to.

Totally false. martial law [ˈˌmärSHəl ˈlô] NOUN military government, involving the suspension of ordinary law. "unlike the previous military interventions, the general did not declare martial law" There is no "martial law" being imposed in Canada. Far from it. There is an Emergency Act, which is utilizing the police to enforce the laws in specific locations to clear illegal occupiers. It has no requirement or effect on the rest of the country. There is no military government and no suspension of ordinary law as required for it be defined as martial law.

Provinces are removing Covid restrictions to varying degrees as the pandemic warrants it. So these illegal protesters really have no justification at all for what they are doing. They are there for other reasons such as a desire to raise hell and encourage each other in subversion, exactly what Satan's agenda is. Criminal minds relish anarchy, rebellion against authority, and criminal activity. That is what they thrive on.

My opinion is based on the Bible. Protesters are assaulting officers. They have attempted to remove officer's weapons. These protesters are criminals. They are not normal people. Thankfully most people are not like these ones. They have criminal minds, and no fear of authority. Without fear of authority and respect for the law, we have anarchy. You supporting them demonstrates what kind of person you are. Sad.

You can debate about Covid policies all you like, but those policies were implemented by a democratically-elected government and saved thousands of lives. Even if people disagreed with Covid policies, that gives them no right to break the laws with illegal blockades and occupations and inflict misery on thousands of other people.

They are not protesters and are not working for liberty. They have done nothing positive but have done much harm to thousands of people. They are not doing anything for me. They are nothing more than thugs and anarchists. Just costing me money for policing, government's time, legal costs, and everything else associated. Making our country poorer. There is a large crowd of protesters who simply are not leaving. They have been told repeatedly to leave. They are complete dumbasses. Some think they have the legal right to stand and protest in front of the police. They don't. They had a right three weeks ago. That time is long gone. Enough warning has been given; they are now taking part in an illegal protest. What do they think they will accomplish? They will leave or be arrested. That is the only two .choice they have at this point. If they receive a criminal record, they will not be able to cross the border to the U.S. A criminal record could prevent them from holding a lot of good jobs and positions. It could effect many things in their lives in a negative way. All for what? They are not accomplishing anything. Very dumb.

Parliamentary debate has been cancelled for today. Good. This gives the MPs a chance to watch the police do their job and take back the streets. They will see how peacefully and methodically the police line is moving slowly to clear the streets. Bless the police. There will of course be the odd scuffle and necessary arrests. Wonder if our PM and cabinet is watching what is going on. Perhaps they could learn what they should have done two weeks or so ago. The Ottawa police certainly did not have the resources for the massive scale of this occupation.
