You don't understand reality and how politics works. The west is built on Judeo-Christian beliefs. Religion is not being made into law. What always has been made into law are the righteous principles of law and order that came from Judeo-Christian beliefs. That is different from Communist countries which make laws based on Communist ideology. It is different than Islamic republics that make laws based on Islam where women have no rights and people have no human rights. In the west we have human rights because historically our society is built on Judeo-Christian beliefs which include respect for the individual and love thy neighbour. It also historically includes respect for the sanctity of life although that is now being trampled on by those who reject our historic Judeo-Christian belief system and embrace the progressive death cult. That is why we have the liberal / progressive doctor-assisted suicide and abortion on demand. That's what you get when you reject God. Humanism and liberalism takes over. Many of our laws are a result of Biblical Judeo-Christian beliefs. That is why we have laws against killing, stealing, etc. That is why Sunday was traditionally a day of rest. One day of seven comes from the Judeo-Christian Bible. Society has to have some basis on which to base its laws. Traditionally this has been Judeo-Christian beliefs.

" Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly shockingly admitted her riding’s demographics influence her foreign policies and is attempting to bolster her leadership prospects. With that background, she refused to send lethal and even non-lethal weapons to Israel and confirmed funding for UNRWA hours after it acknowledged it had employed the slain Hamas leader. Joly pretends to support Israel’s right to defend itself but insisted it should not respond, to avoid “further escalation,” after Iran launched 180 missiles into Israel. The same argument was made by Neville Chamberlain after Hitler seized the Sudetenland. Why is the Canadian government treating a state sponsor of terrorism with kid gloves? What about the Liberal refrain that it will always protect women, the LGBTQ community and minorities from appalling discrimination? Canada’s voice is inaudible to Israelis, given its virtue-signalling hypocrisy, and to everyone else tired of hectoring from a defence free-rider. If the government is determined to be of no practical assistance to a democratic ally under intense siege on seven fronts, at least its diplomacy should reflect Canadian values, which means being on the right side of a defining global conflict. Justin Trudeau has failed the minimum requirements for decency, moral clarity and national self-interest. Is it due to a desperate concern about vanishing votes in selected ridings, a lack of strategic vision, or a twisted post-modern ideology? Regardless, the sooner Canada is rid of the moral rot, the sooner Canadians can hold their heads high again." Joe Oliver: Canada’s irresolute response to Iranian terror reeks of moral rot (msn.com)

Most people don't pay much attention to debt numbers of their provincial governments but this could be serious. In 2019, the B.C. government debt worked out to $9,175 per person in B.C. It is projected that in five years from now the government debt per person in B.C. could be $36,909. Just how this will impact the lives of people in B.C. is the question. How will it impact the services provided by government to the people of B.C.? The interest on debt must be paid. That comes out of the provincial budget. In other words the more money the government must pay on the debt, the less money they have for everything else. " How did this happen? Two words—spending growth. B.C.’s former status as a low-debt province was due to 15 years of spending restraint that produced mostly balanced budgets (outside of recessions) and minimal debt growth. Since the change of government in 2017, however, the rate of spending growth has exploded and, no surprise, so have budget deficits. It didn’t have to be this way. If the Horgan and Eby governments had simply maintained spending close to the rate of inflation plus population growth, as their predecessors did for many years, B.C. would be in a much different situation today. It’s much harder to build a sandcastle than it is to kick it over. Similarly, it took more than a decade of prudent management and hard decisions to establish B.C. as one of the most fiscally sound provinces in Canada. But it’s taken less than a decade of free spending to drive the province into large deficits, rack up mountains of debt, and earn the unfortunate distinction of having the least sustainable finances in Canada." Numbers don’t lie—the B.C. government’s debt has exploded | Fraser Institute

The BC NDP are ahead of the BC Conservatives in the polls. We can expect a continued train wreck of Socialism in B.C. Health care will likely not improve and taxes will probably increase as will the provincial debt. The revolving door of criminals will likely continue and drug addiction will probably get worse or no better. All this is bad news for B.C. residents. That's the reality of having a large brainwashed population that think government can solve all problems and provide everything. NDP will continue to hamstring the resource industries and continue carbon taxes in one form or another.

Strange how we have a major political party that is anti-Israel. " Rather than issuing a statement to commemorate October 7 and be done with it, Singh attacked “the response” from “Netanyahu’s extremist government” — a response that, according to the NDP leader, was not aimed at eliminating the very real threat from Hamas, but instead constitutes a “brutal assault on the people of Gaza” and an example of “collective punishment.” He then, insanely and without citing a shred of evidence, accused Israel — sorry, “Netanyahu’s extremist government” — of committing an “ongoing genocide.” October 7 was a vicious assault on Jewish people by a genocidal death cult that aims to exterminate Israel from existence. And yet, any response from Israel was going to be condemned by “progressives” the world over, who wave away Hamas’s assault as mere “resistance.” The terrorist group started this war, and is now losing it. Progressives want Israel to lose the war instead." Carson Jerema: Jagmeet Singh embraces the pro-terrorist left (msn.com)

Watched the debate last night between NDP leader David Eby, BC Conservative leader John Rustad and Green leader Mz Furstenau. Premier Eby seemed to be flailing all over the place while BC Conservative leader John Rustad kept sharply focused on the main issues and did not fall for the attempts by Eby to divert to meaningless issues. Rustad did not flinch and proved himself a capable leader.

So-called science has repeatedly erred in making false claims.

I understand what you're saying and do appreciate your good wishes. But I think I could never say I give up on someone because we are talking about where we spend eternity. That is not something that one should just give up on or take lightly. Life is short and eternity is forever. I will just quote a short definition I posted earlier: " What is Faith? A nineteenth-century philosopher by the name of Comte held that we should believe only what we can observe personally. Though advanced as a practical philosophy, it is impossible to live with this definition of faith. Everyone in his daily life is constantly believing and acting upon certain facts that are not necessarily proved. For instance, if we drive a car across a bridge, how do we know by observation that the bridge will not break down? If we board an airplane for a flight to a distant city, how do we know whether the thousands of workers who put the plane together did a good job, whether the mechanics properly checked the plane, whether enough fuel has been added, and whether the flight crew is competent to fly the plane? We have been able to observe none of these factors, and yet we board a plane with a good deal of confidence. In everyday life, faith is a part of the way we live." A lawyer once decided to giver serious study to the veracity of what Jesus and the New Testament says. After careful study he came to the conclusion that what the gospels say and the resurrection had to be true because of the eye witnesses to everything that is recorded. Eye witnesses would be accepted as strong evidence in a court of law. What occurred was corroborated by a number of people. It is also supported by many predictions (prophecies) recorded centuries earlier that were fulfilled. This is more than just blind faith then. There are also four different gospels written by four different men, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. That is a pretty strong account. So I wouldn't dismiss it lightly. "But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name." Gospel according to St. John 20:31 KJV -
You just said it was being used for merchandising. The temple was a holy place and not to be used for that purpose. That was the reason Jesus opposed them. Had nothing to do with Capitalism. The community must have certain basic things to maintain law and order. Thing such as a police department and a fire department. You also need water, sewer, roads and sidewalks and garbage pickup. That is not Socialism. Same with the federal government. It requires a certain amount of money through taxation to provide basic services such as a military, a justice system with judges, courts, police, correctional services, and other things. But there has to be a limit to how many services or benefits a government should provide. Somebody has to pay for it all and that is you and me, the taxpayers. But when it goes beyond that and tries to provide everything that people demand it becomes Socialism. Just because your next door neighbour thinks he should have everything you have doesn't give him the right to demand the state seize your property or money to give to him.

I don't buy Prime rib roasts either. Never did. Have no interest in it. I am fine with ground beef and chicken and other things. Tastes good and I don't have the molar teeth to chew Prime rib and steaks anyway. Nobody needs Prime rib and steaks to have good meals. There are many other choices that are a lot less expensive. Hard to chew a lot of things with only front teeth on top. Guess I could get plates but haven't felt motivated to do it. Plus they have to be cleaned a lot. Quasi-Socialism has helped to drive up the price of food and rent because it interferes with the free market system plus creates high taxes. The worst part of quasi-Socialism is the public health care system that fails to provide adequate health care for millions of people and causes people to die on waiting lists. A lot of people have the money and could afford private insurance so it is terrible to deny these people the care they need.
-
That may be true to some extent because of social assistance and food banks exist in Canada. However many people are making decisions to forgo buying food because rents are so high and they don't have the money for the food they should have. This will have a negative affect on health. But the part about people dying on waiting lists and lack of a doctor is true. And now add to that Emergency Rooms closing in different towns in B.C. and other provinces. The biggest problem I think is dying on waiting lists. The Socialists have decided that is acceptable and put a cap on the amount of money for public health care.

Canada has been providing aid through the U.N. to the middle east Palestinians for years that makes it way to the terrorists simply because they are the government of Gaza and control what is going on there. One year ago from today, the barbaric terrorists suddenly invaded Israel and savagely murdered 1,200 innocent citizens and took 250 others hostage. These barbarians are still there and among the populations in Gaza, Lebanon and are funded and backed by Iran which is bent on destroying Israel. They have no interest in recognizing the state of Israel or living in peace. The people living in the Palestinian areas are largely supporters of the terrorist groups. This means the idea of a two-state solution, which Canada supports, is seriously flawed and built on ignorance. How is it possible to recognize a state in your midst that is determined to kill you or eliminate your country? It isn't possible.

Unfortunately many people believe that the world systems including democracy are the answers to everything. They don't understand we live in a corrupt, fallen world. Every person is a fallen corrupt being. This is a result of the fall of man. It is a grave mistake to put your trust in man and his systems. The country is leaving one vital piece out of the puzzle. Every system devised by man is faulty. There is no perfect system of government in this corrupt, fallen world. We must accept the least of the evils. What would help in that respect is having more godly people running government and governing us along with a nation whose God is the Lord. “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.” Psalm 20:7 KJV

The Liberal government created the so-called "Truth and Reconciliation" Commission and the T&C agenda has accomplished very little except cause the government to commit billions of dollars for FNs. It was a disastrous idea. Accomplish little to nothing and cost billions of dollars and never-ending gravy train. It was an attempt to lay a heavy guilt trip on all Canadians for a so-called genocide that never occurred. Most Canadians alive today were never around when the residential schools were created and for most of their 100 year lifetime. We had nothing to do with creating or running them, but are expected to pay and pay and accept responsibility for what happened.

"1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper." Psalm 1:1-3 KJV The law of the Lord in English is the King James Bible, written by prophets and apostles under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit over a period of about 1,500 years and completed nearly 2,000 years ago. Verified and authenticated by thousands of manuscripts and copies of manuscripts. What is your basis of right and wrong? Or do you believe you are your own guide. Without a foundation (the KJV Bible) you have nothing, no foundation other than the changeable whims and corrupt ideas of men. "1 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: 2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee." Proverbs 3:1, 2 KJV How many people have cut their lives short by rejecting God's law and going out on drugs or alcohol and smashed their cars? " Video of a driver filming his speedometer while going nearly double the speed limit on an Ontario highway has emerged. But the fact that the driver posted the video to social media himself has given police pause. “It’s unfortunate that people think this is a way to get clout on the internet,” Sgt. Murray Campbell of the Toronto Police Service’s traffic services unit told CTV News Toronto in an interview about the trend. In recent months, a number of similar videos of dangerous driving have been posted to social media by the drivers themselves, some of which have led to arrests by police. The video in this case, which was publicly viewable and sent to CTV News Toronto by a tipster, shows the driver filming himself -- and then the speedometer -- as he reaches a speed of 190km/h on a stretch of Highway 401 west of Toronto." There is far more to it than that. To accept Jesus Christ: Acknowledge who He is in your own life. Believe and trust in Him. Sincerely pray to Him, confess your sins, commit to follow Him, and declare Him as the Lord of your life. I would add it means you accept His teachings in His word, the Bible. So if you call upon Him to be your Lord and Savior, you should begin studying His word, in English, the King James Bible 1611, and learn the basic doctrines of the Christian faith. It is necessary to study the Bible, particularly the King James 1611, New Testament, to understand what this is all about. Nobody is saying everyone will believe in Him. Most of the world does not. I never said it will solve all the political problems and other problems in the world. Jesus' kingdom is not of this world. So it is not a political agenda. But it is the basic answer to every individual's life and problems. Being drawn into worldly ideologies is not the answer. The Bible has a lot to say about how Christians should live in this present evil world, which is extremely important. The first step is to become a son or daughter of God through being born again. But if you want to be a son or daughter of God and be forgiven, you must be born again. (see gospel of John chapter 3)

Climate change is real and has always occurred throughout history. But man is not the cause of climate change. We have been through this with endless debate. Man contributes only about 3% of the atmospheric CO2. Man is not likely to be able to change that 3% and Canada's contribution is a very tiny percentage of that 3%. So why go on about it? I never said anything about overpopulation and don't buy it. The Roman priests don't preach or believe the Bible so how could they be preaching the true gospel. You don't know anything about Romanism. What they brought to South America was not the gospel. I don't think you have any understanding of the gospel. From your comment, I don't think you even understand what it is all about. If you want to discuss it, you need some knowledge on it. That takes some effort in reading at least parts of the Bible (New Testament) and perhaps reading some websites that explain it.

The Socialists are at the gates and have invaded. Jagmeet Singh said the Cuban revolution was a good thing for the people. Trudeau was a pretty chummy friend of Castro. Trudeau admired Communist China's system and even said so. Trudeau jets around the world to attend various international conference about everything under the sun paid for by us. Today he is attending a Francophone summit. All at taxpayer's expense. Do you trust him? He spends taxpayer money wildly. He is schooled in the program of the World Economic Forum. You think they are a democratic organization looking out for everyone's interests? Seriously. You need to get a grip. Trudeau loves the high lifestyle and probably hopes to receive an important position in the U.N. or some other world body. The U.N. was already the driver with Trudeau as its puppet and they imposed the carbon taxes on Canadians. That is dictatorial and Marxist. It does nothing for the climate and never will.

I suspect there are many people in the world who would be suspicious of the WEF and a "great reset", not just some Christians. Many non-believers and conservatives oppose the agenda of the globalists. I am not sure the average leftist, liberal, or Socialist wants a global government. A large part of the western world is conservative and would be alarmed to learn what is going on. It is easy to see why. The danger of humanity completely losing their freedom is easy to understand. Read Orwell's book 1984. There is another book written on the topic. "In The Great And the War for the World, the most controversial man on earth Alex Jones gives you a full analysis of The Great Reset, the global elite's international conspiracy to enslave humanity and all life on the planet." The Great Reset: And the War for the World by Alex Jones | Goodreads If you go to this link, there are a large number of reviews of this book. One reviewer says "“The most controversial man in America” and one who has been right about most of the things that have been “fact checked” and marked as fake by corrupt fact checkers…anyways…if you want to understand what’s going on in this crazy world right now THIS IS THE BOOK. Please share it with your friends before all the sheeple destroy our freedoms under a tyrannical regime. Please. Share." Incidentally this book is somewhat expensive on Amazon. Maybe you can find a used copy somewhere else or a less expensive one. A review on Alibris, which has a copy for $8.86 plus shipping, says this: "From central bankers, corporate billionaires, and corrupted government officials, global elites have been organizing a historic war on humanity under a trans-humanist, scientific dictatorship. Alex Jones was the first major figure to expose the World Economic Forum's agenda. He has dedicated the last 30 years of his life to studying The Great Reset, conducting tens of thousands of interviews with top-level scientists, politicians, and military officials in order to reverse engineer their secrets and help awaken humanity. The Great Reset And the War for the World chronicles the history of the global elites rise to power and reveals how they've captured the governments of the world and financed The Great Reset to pave the way for The New World Order. "

The idea of a one-world government is what is behind the WEF. " The real Great Reset The magic words are ‘stakeholder capitalism’, a concept that WEF chairman Klaus Schwab has been hammering for decades and which occupies pride of place in the WEF’s Great Reset plan from June 2020. The idea is that global capitalism should be transformed so that corporations no longer focus solely on serving shareholders but become custodians of society by creating value for customers, suppliers, employees, communities and other ‘stakeholders’. The way the WEF sees stakeholder capitalism being carried out is through a range of ‘multi-stakeholder partnerships’ bringing together the private sector, governments and civil society across all areas of global governance." For the whole article: Conspiracy theories aside, there is something fishy about the Great Reset - resilience

Actually the reverse is true. It is people like you who disrespect God and Christian beliefs who are a threat to a country. We see that with the 80,000 abortions a year in Canada and far more in the U.S. You think it is a danger to want to protect and defend the life of unborn babies. You must think it is a danger to oppose teaching sexual orientation and transgender ideology to young kids in schools. You want them to be free to choose what sex they should be and thereby destroy their lives. What about the soft-on-crime approach that has repeat offenders constantly arrested and released into the community again. Do you support that too? I suppose it would be a danger to have a tough-on-crime government who protects society. Then there is the legalization of hard drugs supposedly to help reduce drug addicts and drug overdose deaths. It did nothing to reduce the number of addicts and overdose deaths. I suppose you support same-sex marriage. Turn society into a disaster. You don't seem to have any understanding of what Biblical Christianity is all about or what they believe. So you resort to nonsensical comments about it being a danger to society. You should really learn something before posting nonsense.

No, the second coming is not the anti-Christ one world government. The anti-Christ one-world government is coming before the second coming of Jesus Christ. The U.N, WEF and such are all working toward a one-world government. You need to read the Bible. Your argument is with what Jesus and the Bible say. Read the gospel of John. If you don't want to do that, it is your choice. That sentence is basically saying their objective is control of the world. It says the same thing. What do you think one-world government means? What do you think achieving sustainable development and "countries working together" means? You think it is some kind utopia of freedom? Control of course. This shows your complete lack of knowledge about religion, especially the history and beliefs of Romanism. Central and south America are mostly Romanist and controlled by Rome. They do not believe in Biblical Christianity. So when you say they believe in the Bible, you show your lack of knowledge. Rome wants to control the world. That may come to pass. I already explained there have been wars for many reasons throughout history. I explained man is a fallen corrupt being with an evil heart. That is why there are wars, revolutions, etc. Sometimes, countries or groups have had to defend themselves against evil aggressors too. Most people have no problem with self defence. That is a necessary part of the world we live in. Many of the laws we have are based on the history of the western world being a Judeo-Christian civilization. Laws against murder, stealing, etc. are all based on Christian beliefs. Western Judeo-Christian countries have laws and Constitutions that in some cases defend human rights and basic freedoms. What laws reflect a religious belief? I never said we should pass laws that reflect religious beliefs. We have laws that are based on Christian principles. Our laws as I said are based on Judeo-Christian principles, not Islamic beliefs. Of course most people in the west would oppose laws based on Islam. You have wandered off with an incoherent argument. Another incoherent argument. Nobody is advocating there be an abortion ban in such cases. That is a nonsensical argument. Again you are inventing things to try to bolster your hopeless argument against freedom of beliefs and freedom of speech. Nobody is advocating what you say. Wake up and stop inventing nonsense. Nobody is forcing you to believe anything. You are constantly making up nonsense. But you want to silence anyone from even speaking about things you don't agree with. Too bad. That comes with living in a free country and the right to freedom of speech. If you don't like freedom of speech, move somewhere else like Communist China or N. Korea that might fit in better with your thinking. They ban any kind of preaching or speaking about religion. Perfect for you.

The Charter of Rights is a part of the Constitution. You are legally required to follow it. Being a child when you came here does not exclude the requirement to follow the Charter of Rights. Speaking one's beliefs does not force you to do anything. You are still free to do your own thing. Elected MPs and MLAs all have beliefs. Nobody can take away their beliefs and freedom of speech. You might disagree with them but if the government passes a law regulating abortion, that applies whether you agree or disagree with it. If you are not willing to follow the laws and Charter of Rights, you should be deported. If you don't want to respect the laws and Charter of Rights, you are an anarchist and potential criminal. It's as simple as that.

I have no way of knowing which website is telling the truth. One website says $4214 USD which seems quite high. I doubt if it is that high. One website says "In 2024, the average salary in China has been steadily increasing across various sectors. The average monthly salary in the country is around 8,452 CNY (Chinese Yuan) or approximately 1,330 USD." This sounds much more realistic. Average salary in China (talentup.io) It is important to understand rents are much lower in China, a fraction of what it is in Canada. The important thing is the cost of living in proportion to the monthly income.
