  1. They said his rights were taken from him for various reasons. Just read a bit.
  2. That's true. It was the SCOC who said his incarceration was illegal. There was a lot of court activity attached to this issue. Understandable you might have trouble following the twists and turns.
  3. Oh yes they are. I wondered initially how he could be so stupid as to release them and make himself an obvious liar. But then I realized he was in desperation trying to get ahead of others who also had those emails, to try and blunt the impact. Unfortunately for him it didn't work.
  4. I'm just showing you the facts. Khadr was awarded compensation for his illegal incarceration, and he will be able to keep it. Sorry if you don't like it.
  5. Yes I agree I have heard that flimsy argument so often on here. Good on ya for pointing it out but of course it will have little impact on the converted.
  6. The ruling destroyed the credibility of the commission. Seems pretty obvious to most of us.
  7. As I told you. Has been verified by JR's email dump. Mueller's credentials are solid according to both sides of the fence. I have certainly never lost an argument to you. Sorry pal but keep trying.
  8. You seem not to grasp the nuances of the meetings currently being discussed. It is a bit complicated I know. Maybe get away from rightedition for your edification.
  9. Here's one. There are tons. https://www.aclu.org/news/supreme-court-says-guantanamo-bay-military-commissions-are-unconstitutional-aclu-calls-decision
  10. So now Trump is dining with Macron at the Eiffel Tower and waxing lovingly about Paris and France while not long ago he derided France on a regular basis. He supported Marine le Pen saying she was the best bet to stop ISIS attacks like the one on the Champs Elysee which of course turned out to have been done by a French national. Now France is "lovely, beautiful, wonderful" Could this moron be more incongruous?
  11. If the US is hacking and interfering with other countries elections, let those countries show their evidence and then the US should answer for it. The US currently has it's evidence and is trying to make Russia answer for it.
  12. I'm not quite sure what your point is. What do bases in Iraq have to do with hacking emails in the US during an election campaign?
  13. So the universe was around for 8 billion or so and then somebody decided to create a little round ball for people. I'm gonna roll up a joint and think about that.
  14. You're certainly not bursting my bubble. This case has already been rejected "not a hard decision in law" and there is one more opportunity were it will also fail and then this case is over. Hate to burst your bubble.
  15. anybody with brown skin and a funny foreign sounding name?
  16. I've done plenty of looking up so I'll leave you to do yours. In any case the Speer application has been rejected so it looks like the legal part of this story is coming to a close.
  17. You are quoting a judge of a military court ruled illegal by the SCOTUS
  18. I guess it's common that when one side is losing the argument they get into the but, but , but thing. In this case of course it's.... but the Clinton's. Of course they seem to ignore that the Clinton's's were investigated and cleared. I guess when Trump sticks his foot in his mouth almost daily, there is not much else his supporters can do. Let's see what Mueller comes up with.
  19. Research the case.
  20. It stripped the commission of any authority so it's findings have no weight.
  21. I'm certainly not surprised by that decision. To quote the judge, the decision was "not difficult in law"
  22. Equal compensation payouts.
  23. Um no he wasn't. A proper US court dismissed that allegation.
  24. I think he used the same insurance company as ISAF.
  25. I'm somewhat bolstered in that our courts system finally got around to acknowledging that.
