  1. There's the important phrase you need to get a handle on. They had been denied that right under the kangaroo court. The court ruled that detainees had the right to access US federal courts to challenge their detentions
  2. I don't think he is getting tortured anymore, maybe that's why.
  3. You should read your own cites. The Supreme Court of the United States ruled in Boumediene v. Bush (2008) that the MCA constituted an unconstitutional encroachment of habeas corpus rights, and established jurisdiction for federal courts to hear petitions for habeas corpus from Guantanamo detainees tried under the Act.[20] As such, the provisions of MCA suspending Habeas Corpus are no longer in effect.
  4. Sleep deprivation is a recognized form of torture. All who's accounts? He was taken to Afghanistan at 10 years old. I don't know if he was drugged, but he was certainly a kid.
  5. Apparently. What is 10 years of your life worth to you?
  6. That's a damn good question. I do see hints of English but not coherency.
  7. Any conclusion of dirty hands lost validity due to his illegal imprisonment and interrogation.
  8. If they wanted to prove his guilt they should have prosecuted him legally.
  9. What you don't seem to get is that, under law, his hands weren't dirty in the first place.
  10. If anyone has "dirty hands" in this case it would be the kangaroo court at Gitmo, and the Canadian officials who went there to interrogate him and then passed the results of those discussions to his prosecutors.
  11. You keep trying to flog this "clean hands" idea and it doesn't apply in this case. Maybe look for a different avenue.
  12. Speaking of ironies, I just heard Sean Spicer in his latest off camera (why are they hiding) press briefing state, when asked a question about the Russian hacking issue respond that, "the administration has the greatest confidence in the US voting system". At the same time Trump is still bitching about having lost the popular vote to illegal voters.
  13. Well then why don't you just stay over by your window and keep an eye on them. We'll take care of the grown up stuff over here.
  14. You pointed out what is clearly nothing more than your own clearly haphazard opinion of voter fraud that has been proven didn't happen in any significant way. Or maybe you got that idea from "wrongedition"? That seems likely.
  15. Trump starts off his "Made in America" week with a bunch of tweets about his son's current credibility problems vis a vis the Russia connection. Maybe he wants to divert attention from where Trump actually gets his stuff made. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/donald-trump-made-in-america-week-overseas-manufacturing-products-outsourcing-a7844651.html
  16. You're still buying that BS are ya? One of the reasons Trump's approval ratings are so low (and his disapproval ratings so high) is because he can't seem to quit whinging and trying to flog the same dead horse of "voter fraud" that cost him the popular vote and which has been disproven long ago.
  17. I think we have all sorted out that that is your domain.
  18. Is that why he has the lowest approval rating this far into his term than any other in the last 70 years?
  19. Supreme courts tend to deal in facts, whether you like them or not.

    Hey and then there's "pizzagate"
  22. Sorry but no they have not. The SCOTUS has ruled 3 times against Gitmo. Here's just one. http://www.nytimes.com/2006/06/29/washington/29cnd-scotus.html
  23. Convicted by an illegal court (according to your legal court) and now with bucks in his pocket to compensate. Maybe he'll send you a thank you card.
  24. Then go study the facts. There have been enough links to them posted here already. But speaking of head in the sand....
  25. We all know who he was convicted by, and how.
