I certainly had to burst into laughter today as he dug into his best attempt at sincerity, lowered his voice, and assured everyone that his administration was "running like a fine tooth machine". Not only is that absurd a we all know with people either jumping ship or being thrown under the bus, but he even screwed up the comparison. The press must love him. Such an easy target.

I'm getting the strong inclination that there are a number of those who have already hitched their wagons, who are now wishing they hadn't and will try to unhook before too much of the shyte behind that wagon lands on them. I don't recall any previous US federal election that was followed by so much turmoil in such short order. We're only in week 4 right? Crickey!

One of the reasons I appreciate CBC radio so much is I could travel,(and did) from Inuvik to St. Johns and many a place in between and tune in and get a laugh from Stuart. Maybe since I am of Scottish descent and maybe if I happen to meet a Chinese man named Wong, I will try and strike up a deli somewhere named 'Wong's' Scottish Meat pies" and see how we do. And of course sell/trade a bit of vinyl as well.

I have followed this man since I first discovered him on a radio in a hangar in northern BC I was hanging around waiting for the weather to improve. I had just moved into a new place and didn't have my own radio yet. Next day I was out buying one and have been enriched ever since by the likes of Stuart. He will be missed.

I think the biggest foreign policy blunder Trudeau has made was not cancelling Harper's deal to sell arms to the Saudis. I'm sure it is providing some good jobs but a bit of a black eye for the country.

I don't think you encourage good foreign relations by snubbing the incoming leader of such a longstanding neighbor as the US by using facetime in lieu of an invite for a face to face.

Trudeau inherited a country who's international image had been hollowed out by nearly a decade of conservative rule under Harper. It will take some work to revive it but JT is getting there. In his year he has done tours to the G20 and Commonwealth summits, the Paris climate summit, hosted the 3 Amigos, greatly improved relations with the US, impressed the G7 members by his performance at that summit in Japan, and showed renewed interest and participation at the UN. How's Trump doing so far?
