  1. Well there actually is one civilized, stable, peaceful Moslem country..... oh wait
  2. What is your point? Times change. The United States WILL become a failed state, and when that happens I would like to be far away from the border.
  3. When (not if) the US collapses we in Canada need to be ready for an influx of Americans streaming across our border and bringing their American problems with them. It is a truly frightening thought. My plan is to head to the far north.
  4. Interesting points and an interesting discussion, but not really what I am concerned with. When Europeans are finally pushed over the edge by Moslem violence they will not be concerning themselves with the history of extremist Islam, they will simply want to eradicate it by any means necessary. How the European masses react could be very unpredictable and/or unprecedented. It will have nothing to do with logic or history, it will be about fear and anger. Europe has been relatively benign lately but they do have the capability of wanton brutality and I believe that Islamic extremism is going to push them in that direction again.
  5. Whoever they are, I can guarantee you that they are operating under a larger terrorist organization known as Islam. The entire world needs to wake up and acknowledge the threat posed by the "religion of peace." My heart goes out to the good people of France who have once again had to deal with this horseshit. 1939 was not really that long ago, I don't think these young Muslim men understand what kind of bear they are poking when they kill Europeans.
  6. It doesn't hurt to have leaders who understand the institutions they are leading. Justin Trudeau has no business being Prime Minister of this country. When the election results came in last year I had some hope because I thought he would surround himself with people who actually knew what they were doing, instead we get Gerald Butts and a bunch of token cabinet ministers who fit into the politically correct checklist. Bernier for PM.
  7. Obama was a well-educated expert on constitutional law. Justin taught a bit of highschool drama when he wasn't too busy snowboarding or working bar security. Hurr.
  8. Trudeau doesn't even speak very well, to be honest.
  9. Clement wouldn't even be able to hold onto his spot in the legislature were it not for the steady supply of pork he sends into that district. I hope these old Harper ministers eat other in the leadership campaign, paving the way for a relative outsider with actual ideas (Bernier). I don't really know what Michael Chong is about, but I am also keeping an eye on him. Clement and MacKay can piss off.
  10. Toronto is a great city, but not a good place to live. And it's suburbs are absolutely vile. I always found that the best places to live in Canada are the mid-sized cities just outside the GTA, places like Kitchener, London, or even Barrie. Nice little cities in their own right, and it is never a big deal if you want to go spend a weekend in TO and enjoy all it has to offer.
  11. On paper he is by far the most experienced and arguably most qualified of the declared leadership candidates. The problem is that no one actually likes him, and rightly so. He is as corrupt as they come, he should be a Liberal.
  12. I didn't notice them saying anything yet, but the closest thing to policy in Clement's announcement was his promise to defund the state broadcaster, so you can be sure that battle lines are being drawn in the CBC newsroom and boardroom.
  13. The Ontario Conservatives deserve some of the blame (John Tory for his stupid comments about religious schools, Hudak for his monumentally stupid comments about the public service), but the majority of blame has to go to the Ontario voters who keep re-electing the Liberals. McGuinty, Wynne and their cohorts are just doing what Liberals do, it is up the electorate to punish them, but voters in Ontario just wont do that.
  14. Which parts of London are not mostly black and brown? I know that there are white people in the city but I certainly didn't see very many of them. Maybe they all hide in Buckingham Palace?
  15. Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think Bernier has ever supported supply management, beyond towing party line I suppose. The biker chick thing ten years ago was just a convenient excuse to fire a popular Quebec minister from cabinet, he has always had ideas that were a far cry from the Harper agenda. Bernier has my full support, both with my money and my vote.
  16. I just returned from a trip to London and this once-great city seems set on turning into a third world slum like Karachi or Mumbai. Paris is even worse, it is too far gone to be saved, but Britain's exit from the farcical EU is a step in the right direction.
  17. i blame it all on white people.. hurr
  18. Trudeau is not an upstanding individual, the media just wont go after him. The speaking fees he charged to charities (as a sitting MP) would have been enough to sink the career of any other politician, but media is on Junior's side.
  19. Let's cut the horseshit. White men are the best fit for this job, all of you know it so admit it
  20. The judiciary gets the bottom of the barrel anyway. Any lawyer worth his salt can make much more money in the private sector.
  21. Metric is by far the greatest Canadian rock band right now
  22. To be honest I always thought Queen Sophie was his beard.
  23. He is indistinguishable from Harper. He also has a social conservative creepiness, sort of like Stockwell Day.
