We don't have proof of how anyone decides how to vote. If I said that a huge chunk of former Reform Party voters voted for the NDP last May how could anyone prove me wrong? Many people said that the Conservatives support went up in the last few days of the campaign because blue Liberals left the party so that the NDP didn't win, look at seats in suburban Toronto for example. There's no proof that it actually happened that way, but it's a very logical conclusion.
