  1. She's been doing some really good work on the drug shortage issue.
  2. Whether or not the Liberals started this mess, the CPC have had plenty of time to end it. Anyway, people are getting tired of these sorts of fallacious, pointing-the-finger excuses by governing parties. It's this sort of schoolyard mentality that has put Fantino and McKay in the hot seat, and now they're backpeddling.
  3. So the F-35 still doesn't meet "mandatory minimum requirements".. hm..
  4. I decided to do some research on the pot thing because the flavour of your post seems to suggest you have it out for Mulcair, Peeves.. Anyway, it is true that at this time he does not favour decriminalization, but that doesn't mean it is completely out of the question. In fact he would take some pretty positive steps to look at the possibility: This is a fantastic idea that pragmatically begins the process of looking at these substances more objectively. Also, the Israel thing is completely overblown and I'm sure he is aware that he has a big challenge in the west on the oilsands issue. I wouldn't be surprised if he could make a few concessions to get their vote without upsetting environmentalists.
  5. It's scary that people who actually make that mental judgment before casting their vote even exist.
  6. And the claim that ideology is delineated to the left.
  7. So not only was Poutine sending out robocalls to misdirect voters, but he was also responsible for those alleged annoying calls to Liberal voters?
  8. It's peanut butter jelly time.
  9. “They Want Subways”: A Rob Ford Remix
  10. Sucks for them. They should find a way to get Atwood as a spokesperson.

  12. Maybe he'll create some actual revenue instead of banking on illegitimate cuts.
  13. So.. can MPs directly question the speaker during QP?
  14. Makes complete sense. Why would Ford support it?
  15. Topp is wrong. At worst, there will be an even split between Liberals and NDP in a Conservative minority next election. This would actually be the best mix the country can get as both opposition parties will co-operate on moderate matters and no one can let ideology get the best of them.
  16. What would be a better, cheaper alternative to the F-35? It's clear that this is not the plane we should go with; especially for arctic defense.
  17. The more the cons and libs bash each other's heads in, the more they'll be putting themselves at a disadvantage.
  18. The opposition has been asking for a price for a few years now.
  19. I would go one step further and ban all ads that comment on other parties. We should be forcing parties to advertise their accomplishments and not the failings of others.
  20. Drug shortage forces hospice to turn away dying patient
  21. It's the only robocall the conservatives have brought forth and as you've pointed out, it had nothing to do with voter suppression. It was an attempt by the CPC to muddy the waters with another red herring, much like their new line about the NDP last week.
  22. Reading the OP... Have we really sunk this low?
  23. http://www.thestar.com/news/canada/politics/article/1147477--canada-can-delay-f-35-purchase-to-get-cheaper-prices-julian-fantino-says
  24. Even if it does get its own funding, the council will not vote in favour of Ford's plan.
