If you didn't know that Hillary was given the debate questions before you came here, that was ignorance. If you still don't know, that's stupidity. If you know but you're pretending not to, you're lying. In any event, you're a leftist, which means that the truth isn't coming out of your mouth, ever.

For your edification, here's an example of a statement that would require peer-reviewed research: "The vaccines aren't working because blah blah blah." Here's an example of a statement that doesn't require peer-reviewed research: "The fact vaccinated people have covid means that they are able to spread covid." If you'd like to theorize that "the vaccines allow covid to replicate inside of the body but kills all of the viruses as they leave through the mouth and nostrils" then you need to cite some peer-reviewed research. Now you can use those words in a sentence without tipping your hand.

To some extent it is. Lying about federal polling data is a good way to influence that part of the population known as 'the sheeple'. Saying "these are the cool kids" gets their votes, while inducing apathy into their opposition's voters. Polls are also good for damage control. For example, CBC and CTV always trot out polls that say "this issue hasn't hurt the PM's popularity" when they're trying to put a bow on a scandal.

I don't think DeSantis is going to run right now, because if he runs against Trump he could alienate himself from a lot of Trump supporters. DeSantis's star is still on the rise, he's young, he can wait til 2028. Rand Paul and Ted Cruz already ran against Trump, they can run against him again without ruffling any feathers, and if covid is still a big deal the fact that Paul is a Dr. gives him a lot of credibility this time around. Ted Cruz is a bit of a heavyweight right now and he might be an option for people who don't want to risk giving the DNC nominee a 70M vote head start.
