  1. https://westernstandardonline.com/2021/12/trudeau-calls-the-unvaccinated-racist-and-misogynistic-extremists/ @QuebecOverCanada said that the translation given was accurate, and he's bilingual. When you read it, note the date. This happened in December and most people, myself included, didn't even know about it until much later. It's hate speech, plain and simple. He falsely assigned negative character attributes to a broad group of people, he said that they "take up space" whatever that means (that must be some kind of French-Canadian idiom that just sounds far more sinister in English), and then he asked if those people should be "tolerated". There's no mistaking the sound of that. Should blacks be tolerated? Should Jews be tolerated? Should Whites be tolerated? Should Chinese be tolerated? Should muslims be tolerated? Should unwed mothers e tolerated? Should gays be tolerated? Are those really the kinds of questions that we need to be asking ourselves?
  2. Geez, do you ever wonder why you're getting compared to nazis all the time? You're alright moonbox, and everyone else is wrong, hey? ? If the shoe fits, wear it. If you put a frog in hot water it will jump out. If you put a frog in cold water and turn up the heat [something that only a leftist would do] the frog will stay there 'til it dies. Right now you're the frog, and the water that you're in is at 90% nazi, you just don't feel it yet, you still love it. You see slander and lies about anti-vaxers as being cool because you wanna say that shit yourself, much in the same way that some Germans didn't think that the things that Hitler said about Jews was wrong. They loved it. It warmed their hearts. You're exactly the kind of person that would have gone along with the increasing levels of hatred and intolerance until eventually you were throwing Jews into the oven. That's you, exactly. The nazi accusation is bang-on in your case.
  3. This is all following the precedent that was set by allowing the FN blockades of the train tracks to go on for 6 weeks, and the US allowing BLM to ravage cities for months at a time. The rail blockades caused serious propane shortages in Quebec. It was at an emergency level. People were getting assaulted an killed by the BLM riots. Communities burned. Businesses were destroyed. Low-cost housing was razed. Half the gov't in the US was openly supporting it all. Just imagine if after all of that other bullshit was allowed to go on for so long and then this Freedom Convoy was shut down instantly. It's not the fault of the cops that it didn't get shut down, it was the optics of it. Trudeau beseeched the Indian Gov't to listen to their own farmers' protest, their media even called him out for ignoring the truckers. Shutting this down really fast was never an option. The police never had that mandate.
  4. Go find where you think that I said words to the effect of "Fox never used the term martial law". I didn't, you're just not very smart eyeball. I never for a second refused to believe that Fox News used the term martial law, because I actually saw it on Fox myself. I read the bold letters on the screen. Guess where they got the idea that it was martial law eyeball? Do you have any guesses? If not, read the thread. CBC's own article on the Emergencies Act was ambiguous about whether or not Trudeau was allowed to use it to deploy the military. The Cdn Gov't's info page says: Re: the military: Do necessary powers include deploying the military? Trudeau himself insinuated that it did, when he said that "he didn't invoke the act to deploy the military". If he felt like invoking the act didn't give him that power then he was deing disingenuous when he said that (disingenuous is actually very honest by his standards). FYI other countries don't have to be specific and use our terminology. That's just semantics. If the part of the Emergencies Act that Trudeau invoked gives him the power to wield the military against civilians - this is martial law, regardless of our terminology. The act itself doesn't rule out the military, it says this: It seems like there's room to say: "I NEED FUCKIN TANKS BRUH! THIS HUGGING & FLAG-WAVING IS PISSING ME OFF!" Is it martial law? Is it not martial law? Seems like this is the closest thing we have to martial law, and every country has tools to enact martial law written into their constitutional framework. Our gov't is even using anti-terrorism legislation to fight against the Freedom Convoy. This is MARTIAL LAW sweetie-pie ?
  5. Bullshit. You barfed up this non-starter: A fresh banana peel is your idea of a debate? You started off at stupid and went downhill fast. If you don't think that was hate speech then you're the exact kind of person that would have eventually ended up throwing Jews into the gas chambers for Hitler. "Duh geez, that esculaytid kwiklee!"
  6. You might as well have that conversation with a brick. Leftists pretend to not see that as hate speech. Calling people names is cool if you're a leftist. You know who else didn't recognize hate speech when they saw it/heard it? The people who followed Hitler. Fuckin nazis.
  7. I'm at a loss as to how you don't recognize that as hate speech. Take out the term "anti-vaxers" and put Jews there and it's like something straight out of Hitler's mouth. Bill Maher even said as much recently, but for the record, I was saying it before he was. Or at least I was saying it before I saw his quote. In any event, Bill Maher is almost as smart as I am, you're still a work in progress, grasshopper.
  8. Fixed. I already cited the CBC info in a reply to you. If you can't read that's your problem. Go fish.
  9. I'll concede that he may not have said what was quoted, but it's unreasonable to say that he definitely didn't say it as well, and you have far more reason to trust Goddess than Trudeau. Speak to the things that you know he did say then. What of this: How evil is that on a scale from 1 to 10?
  10. Figure it out. Your lack of understanding isn't a function of my lack of cites.
  11. He even said that BEFORE Trudeau unleashed the martial law option here, and started using anti-terrorism laws against peaceful protesters. Martial Law"? From CBC: According to Trudeau's comment, it appears that the ability to use the military under this section of the emergencies act is a possibility. Otherwise he would have said that it's not an option without enacting some other measure.
  12. Just because there's not a link to it anymore doesn't mean that it's not there. The videos of Jagmeet Singh's terrorism meetings aren't available online anymore, and if entire videos that you have links for are gone, it's easy to make a smaller quote like that vanish.
  13. What if they have their LPOC membership dues paid up? Our PM goes on TV and randomly calls people racists and misogynists and asks Canadians if they should be tolerated. Where was your righteous anger? Stop whining, stop faking, grow up.
  14. Fact: When covid was discovered in China, and not yet here, the WHO said H2H isn't happening, and Libs and Dems were furious when Trump blocked passengers from China who weren't returning Americans. Planeloads of infected people flew here from Wuhan to get covid rolling, they weren't screened at our airports in any way, shape or form. Fact: In 2022, with 80% of Canadians and Americans vaxed, including everyone who feels like they're vulnerable, facing the weakest covid variant to date, truckers can't cross the USA/Canada border, even with a covid test.
  15. Found it for you: www.liberalechochamber.com/trudeauisjoy
  16. WTF. Our gov't is a joke.
  17. The same insane shit that CBC said, which I already posted in a reply to you. Weird.
  18. No attachment. What protest is THAT one?
  19. In recent years in NA there has been a precedent set for allowing extremely damaging protests to ravage cities for days, weeks, and months on end. If Trudeau squashed the Freedom Convoy after just 1 week when they were just dancing around, waving flags and honking horns, it would have been a PR catastrophe. He did his best to goad them to anger by name-calling and gaslighting them, but when they escalated it was just another peaceful protest, this time blocking key infrastructure, which again followed a precedent set earlier when FN people blocked trains for far too long. I think that blocking the Ambassador Bridge garnered enough attention and made its point, and they should revert back to just surrounding Parliament. Trudeau could have averted this mess if he just seriously addressed the truckers' legitimate grievances. The vaxes aren't doing jack shit right now. The mandates and passports are fucking ridiculous. Especially against people with acquired immunity and healthy people under 30.
  20. The POS on Fox must have got his info from the CBC. WTF was he thinking?
  21. Was it really 50+? I thought that it was 2 or 3.
  22. Do you honestly think I know exactly how many truckers are and were involved in all the various protests around Canada? If you ever took a math class past grade 9 you'd know what 'significant digits' are. If I said 50,239 and there were only 41,000 then you could rightly get pissy. I said 50K, and if there are only 41,253 that's close enough. It doesn't matter if there were 64K, or if there were only 32,000. It's not germane to my point at all. Point stands: In an ideal world the PM of a western nation would be classier and tell less lies than 50,000 truckers.
  23. Are you joking right now? The MSM has been calling the Freedom Convoy an insurrection and saying that it is basically just a bunch of white supremacists for two weeks now and you're suddenly crying about a single, smaller inaccuracy? FYI in other countries saying the "Emergencies Act of Canada" has no meaning, and it's not unreasonable to describe it as martial law. The government is seizing funds, cancelling insurance bought from the private sector, and giving the police sweeping powers which aren't necessary. Our own CBC said this: https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/emergencies-act-explainer-1.6351504 This is poorly written enough to be ambiguous imo. In the first paragraph they say that a separate act, the "N Def Act", allows the military to aid the police, and they say that the Emergencies Act is "silent on the role of the military" which indicates to me that the Emergencies Act itself does not allow the gov't to employ the military, but the second paragraph is worded like a standalone, implying that the first paragraph means that "the military could in theory be called upon to help police maintain law and order". Trudeau is quoted right afterwards as saying: ...which implies that he could use the Emergencies Act to call in the military, but he isn't going to do that. (He used similar wording about vaccine passports being unlikely before he green-lighted them. His words were something like "There is no foreseeable future where vaccine passports will be used here...", A few weeks later, boom.) I don't think that there's any act that employs Canada's military as a complete replacement of our police, IE - the classical definition of martial law, I think that a backup role is their highest calling here. If that's the case, and Canada's military can be employed just from invoking the Emergencies Act, then this is Canada's version of "martial law". If our state-owned media and PM both implied that our military can be employed using this act, why would foreign journalists just assume that CBC and Trudeau were wrong?
  24. OMG, please let the resignations keep going up the chain to the Ontario Premier and the PM.
  25. History will remember that our PM was a divisive liar, demagogue, and slanderer, and that our Freedom Convoy was a mix of Canadians from every race, colour and creed, all celebrating together and standing up for our most essential freedoms. In an ideal world the PM of a western nation would be classier and tell less lies than 50,000 truckers.
