  1. What points did user Not Yet make? Has another post been censored here? As to your questions about the five kids, we know that two of the five children died and have no clue what happened to the other three. My colleague is writing a story on them and is now in Iraq to track down the family members. I will post and update if I get one.
  2. Where are you getting your information? Do you have some links or are you assuming? On their old web site it shows the HQ office was in Port Credit in the GTA. I also see no mention of any surgeries planned in the U.S.A. or UK. Please give us a link or two so I can read up and respond proper like. Thanks. Note to Anthony: If you think the word "Heartless" is inflammatory, how is it you find nothing "inflammatory" with the words "Raging Homo" when referring to Trudeau? You can't BS a Bullsh*tter.
  3. So once again, where is that "spelling error" Anthony?
  4. Anthony, both a Google search and google cache will show you there is no spelling error. What are you talking about? Shall I post the screen shot for you? 5. I just noted even more censorship on this thread. The title of the thread was originally "Heartless Harper..." But clearly a pro-Harper mod saw fit to edit out the word "Heartless". This is precisely the type of censorship I am researching for my article and this thread will now become my centerpiece for that article. Michael, do you care to explain the missing word "Heartless" and why you removed it when you were not the original author? This is Canada my friend, not Nazi Germany.
  6. I interviewed some Toronto cops a few years ago, and a handful admitted that bonuses were paid based on closed cases and convictions, and off record, 7 of them admitted they submitted dalse police reports to obtains convictions of people they knew to be innocenct. The criminial justice machine has been broken for years and there are not many Clay Ruby's these days to expose the corruption. And they know very well that when an innocent person becomes a convicted felon, nobody will every believ them. That stigma allows the rotten apple coppers to contune unabated, and frankly they just grow bolder with time.
  7. To be real clear, there were no weapons of mass destruction found in Iraq, and that entire war was predicated on endless lies as most all university-educated people today agree around the world. I do agree with you however that killing children is a war crime and in Iraq, over 3,000 kids were killed and another 8,000 maimed. I would like to see Bush and Cheney and Rumsfield prosecuted for war crimes but we know that is unlikely at this point. What is realistic however, is that the kids can be as whole as possible with trnsaplants and cosmetic surgeries. Canadians doctors and hospitals were prepared to donate their services. What Harper did was morally reprehensible. God forbid should his children one day ever need a transplant of some medical tissues or organs and some third party 5,0000 miles away says "No" to the donor. These are not political matters, but medical matters. Harper showed us his selfish side in this shameful ordeal.
  8. I agree with you nerve. The point is kids should NEVER be punished for what their relatives MAY have done. I mean kids of any and every country. They cannot even spell the word "politics".
  9. For anyone who still may have doubts about this organ transplant for Iraqi kids incident, here are three links from 2005 announcing the program from an Iraqi Medical Journal Forum and the original BBCradio talk show about the program: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/today/listenagain/listenagain_20050331.shtml radio interview and the press release from VODI. Together with the Mississauga New article that was wrongly removed from the OP (IMO) there should be no doubts at this point. http://hajrnet.net/hajrvb/showthread.php?t=402867589&page=12 (See post #240) http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/today/listenagain/listenagain_20050331.shtml http://express-press-release.net/12/WAR%20VETERANS%20DONATE%20ORGANS%20TO%20IRAQI%20CHILDREN%20MAIMED%20IN%20WAR.php https://bruceslawsocietycomplaint.files.wordpress.com/2015/06/img145.jpg My thanks to friends at the Post Media (Canada.com) for providing me these links On October 24th, 2006 the families of the children in Iraq were notified by the Canadian consulate that their visa applications were rejected. No explanations as to why was provided. A letter dated November 1st, 2006 to PM Stephen Harper did not receive the courtesy of a reply. Ernie Eves lobbied Harper to reconsider but it was a no go.
  10. The source of the "Sushi Bar Confession" needs to be found and thoroughly interrogated. I would blow this whole thing off as a hoax if not for the recanting of testimony by Dawn Taber. IMO his innocence relating to the murder is a 50/50 possibility. The 6 points raised by the OP cannot just be ignored.
  11. Some of my journalist colleagues are now investigating this very matter so we should have some clarity shortly. In the interim we should remember that all parties are presumed innocent until proven guilty. What Mr. Harper did or didn't do has not yet been proven. The same applies for the two accusers. Unfortunately I hope this does not turn into another Oliphant-type circus. If criminal acts were committed a prosecution should be mandated. If no criminal acts were involved then complete vindication is warranted IMO.
  12. All Canadian citizens, regardless of their job titles need to be held accountable to the same laws. Likewise the punishments doled out to violators should also have equal parity. I think the only real question to ask is whether you let an official resign or finish their term before prosecution begins, especially when we think about the law that requires "presumption of innocence" (Innocent until proven guilty).
  13. This is a very good thread and I have to agree with Michael's perspective here. The "rule-writing" cannot be performed after the fact IMO.
  14. I recall seeing an answer to the last question raised about the timing, but it appears that comment has been deleted. Hmmm. But regarding the OP I think it is not so much as Harper "allowing" the fraud, as much as it may be Harper "being compelled" to act as he did. My associate is writing a story on this issue so I will not steal his thunder. But I assure you this story will be fully exposed in coming weeks.
  15. All this debate and not a single link to any supporting laws. As always the devil is in the details. Would YOU like to have your citizenship stripped because you took a vacation or a work-related assignment to Syria, Pakistan, or Iran? Do you know how many Canadians have family members in countries that terrorists call home? I think all comments on this issue need to be reserved until the final wording of the bill is reviewed by all.
  16. On a scale of 1 to 10, how important do you believe "Military Independence" is and why? Please consider economical and geographical factors as well as NATO commitments. Personally I think this issue ranks an 8 (quite important) as a national priority. If our military armed forces are fully integrated Canada will share the blame for blunders and atrocities committed by U.S. troops, and therefore any terrorist consequences that come with the package.
  17. Note to all users: I am a journalist (stringer) for two different press agencies assigned to research and write an article on "Political Propaganda & The Media. I have been monitoring this forum and 11 others for my project for 97 days and counting. My article will be published on the 15th of this month. Yesterday I noticed what I consider to be bias and censorship when a certain newspaper article taken from Mississnauga News archives was deleted from the OP. I brought this to the attention of the moderator here, but my comments were immediately "moved" here: http://www.mapleleafweb.com/forums/topic/25057-question-regarding-removed-image/ As a result of removing this image file from the OP https://bruceslawsocietycomplaint.files.wordpress.com/2015/06/img145.jpg many users were quick to call the OP a liar when in fact he was presenting factual information that one of my colleagues is now investigating for yet another story on the matter. Images that are evidence should not be removed from a post IMO and the misunderstanding created in this thread by the removal is exactly the reason why. I therefore publicly call upon the moderator and admin of this forum to restore this link to the OP as a matter of historical fact. To have an impartial and objective debate on ANY political issue, there is no room for censorship in Canada IMO. Those that like to censor can find a happy home South of the border and probably land a good-paying job with NSA as well. In my research to date, I have found 39 censorship issues and 4 of them have been at this forum. What is the point of deleting opposing points of view if you are left preaching to the choir gents? I implore all of you to be more tolerant of those who disagree with the majority. Thank you. And to the party who said they traced the OP to " ** Account traced back to Liberal office in Mississauga **" I ask that you please provide proof of your allegation in this thread or I will have no choice but to feature this thread with screen shots in my upcoming article. Thank you all.
  18. Hmmm... Over time he has become more and more like BUsh - bellicose and and almost racist, This thing with the woman's headress is a perfect example. People are getting a phobia about Muslims and thanks to media's distorted coverage of world events western people and ;leaders ar egetting quicker amnd quicker to label other people. I personally think sending our armed forcese into Afghanistan is not just a mistake, but not really needed in the first place. There are other ways we can support America (like votes at the UN) but that support should not be automatic but based on the merits of the issue.
  19. And exactly who owns the LCBO? Is it truly owned by the Province or ????? I have not seen this arrangement anywhere else in the world except Russia!
  20. Not necessarily. Appeals can be decided on the whim of a judge not necessarily legal merit. Sometimes a lawyer will piss off a judge and guess what?
