I didn't say they made up the quote, it's just suspicious that they never show the quote on video or provide a quote for the question posed in the article. Seems like the author and reporter are blatantly trying to mislead. I can't find an article showing the question Del Mastro was asked, can you?
-
Everything is pro harper government according to you. Here's the writer's twitter: http://twitter.com/#!/joshvisser He sure seems pro Harper to me!
-
It doesn't prove he did. If you're gonna post an article and video with that title, at least prove it... otherwise it seems like propaganda. (BTW.. by "you're" I mean ctv, not you).

I'd like to see a video of Del Mastro actually saying that quote along with the question he was asked. In the HOC he repeatedly said that the Conservatives already provided all of their records to Elections Canada. Despite it being the title of the article, there was nothing in the video showing Del Mastro supposedly refusing to provide the records other than a clip of a reporter saying "where are your records?" to him. I hate to be the tinfoil hat wearing type, but it seems like lefty propaganda. http://www.ctv.ca/CTVNews/TopStories/20120305/robocalls-parliament-protest-120305/#ixzz1oJCN9Soy Watch 0:25 to 0:55. Seems like blatantly partisan news reporting to me.

I had a knee injury and would have had to wait for a month if I didn't book for 3am. I didn't mind getting my mri done in the middle of the night as I was a student at the time, but if I was working I don't see any reason why I shouldn't be able to pay for a private MRI immediately (and take some burden off the public system). It wasn't a life threatening issue, but it was a quality of life issue as I couldn't run, play hockey, jump, or work out.

Yes we've heard all about your timmy's polls..

This is a pretty good link for a summary of poll results: http://www.electionalmanac.com/canada/polls.php EKOS almost always has the NDP in a dead heat with the conservatives. Last 4 polls: 2012.03.01: 31.5 CPC, 29.2 NDP. (+1.7) 2011.05.01: 33.9 CPC, 31.2 NDP. (+2.7) 2011.04.30: 34.6 CPC, 31.4 NDP. (+3.2) 2011.04.28: 34.5 CPC, 29.7 NDP. (+4.8) To be honest, I'm actually quite surprised by how little support the CPC has lost judging by these poll results. The CPC has only been cutting and pushing through controversial bills through the first year of its majority, and there is a negligible dip in support. Still have three years to push that into 40%+ territory (which would likely yield a 200 seat majority with Harper's campaigning... and some timely robocalls ).

Yes conservatives should just say "electoral fraud is bad mkay" while the left whips up an anti-conservative frenzy predicated on baseless accusations and assumptions. The left can sling all the mud they want, but if conservatives do it they are "out of touch with anyone outside their base".

Probably nanos

Will the Collapse of Greece affect Canada?
CPCFTW replied to Rocky Road's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Some would argue that the market has already priced in a Greek default (or at least a high probability of one). -
I think you're missing the point. 100k is the new 40k because half of your income goes to taxes.
-
No.. That's our electoral system. What are you, 12? This must be your first election. What nonsense.
-
And yet you only insist that investigations be undertaken in conservative ridings. I guess only the winner can be a cheat?
-
Because the CPC, the 1%, and the Illuminati will have bribed and otherwise coerced those people.
-
I could have told you this from the start (and I have). This "scandal" is too amateur to be a heinous CPC plot. I've said all along this is probably some more shenanigans by the opposition trying to backdoor their way into power. The left just can't accept that being a hippy isn't cool anymore (ie. they won't accept that conservative governments were genuinely elected). Same crap happened with Bush vs Gore (Florida) and Bush vs Kerry ("rigged vote machines"). A bunch of sore losers, the lot of them.

Stop lying please.

What's your point? I compared this to a similar situation which occurred in Canada (albeit for far less money and with far more lefty whining). Just pointing out the hypocrisy of many lefty posters here.

I don't have to prove economics to you. Pick up a textbook.

So are the McGuinty Liberals mean-spirited Neo Cons?
CPCFTW replied to Boges's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
Good to hear! Maybe I should have voted for him.. -
Would be funny to see how many here were whining about about Harper's trip to watch the Canucks playoff game. I'm certain many of Obama's defenders here were up in arms over the $11,000 trip: http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/ottawa-notebook/cost-of-stanley-cup-jaunt-to-boston-11000-harpers-share-1060/article2172928/ Kudos to olpfan1 for not being a typical lefty hypocrite.

Yup and a liberal obliteration.
-
I wouldn't be surprised if this turned out to be a scheme by the liberals or NDP. We have already seen their contempt of the electoral process when they overthrew a democratically elected government forcing weary Canadians to the polls in their lust for power. It's possible they saw the conservatives polling well and decided on a last ditch attempt to try to bully their way into power against the will of the electorate. I would love if this were the case as it would likely mean another decade or more of conservative rule. Reports of calls from the US? Well we know which party leader had significant ties to the US... Better start packing up Iggy, we're onto you. Polls were indicating that the liberals would be obliterated... they were certainly the party with nothing to lose from pulling this stunt.

Can we cite council for contempt of voters?

Links as in they were hired by the Conservative party to conduct robocalls? Maybe Loblaws also has links to the Conservative party because they catered a few Conservative dinners... burn Loblaws burn!!
