Very wrong comparison. That was a dictatorship. An unelected permanent head of republic. This is a democratically elected government elected just a few months ago on a clear platform of mandating the vaccines. No one and I repeat no bloody one has the right to try to remove this government by illegal occupation of our Capital city.

No I am not aware of such poll on mandates. I know that 90% of Canadians are vaccinated and a good majority want vaccination mandated for everyone except health reasons. Also everyone is sick of restrictions. The question is whether we suddenly remove all restrictions, wearing masks included overnight as the trucker convoy is demanding or we do it in a prudent gradual manner that the governments are currently doing it.

The election was about many things not entirely on mandates though mandates was one of many platforms Liberals campaign on. But voting for Liberals was not a vote for mandates and voting for PPC or Conservatives did not mean a vote against mandates. This will be the only peaceful resolution of this serious problem.

May be a referendum on the issue would solve all the problems. Maybe Trudeau should be looking at this option to end the deadlock. Protesters going back home, a referendum to be held within a month and the nation decides. It is democratic and it will quickly resolve this serious issue smoothly and without violence and for good, As well it will free the people of Downtown Ottawa. What do you think?

I don't think there is growing support at home. Downtown residents are more fed up every day demanding police action and as the nation watch their Capital City under occupation over time, even those minority who may support the illegal blocking of streets will turn against them. They have to leave sooner or later.

Not sure why not ending well. The use of force is ruled out and it will be up to police to enforce the law and order so unless they start rioting and destruction eventually they get tired and will leave. This weekend crowd and protest is less than last weekend and will be even less next weekend.

I think that vaccines should be mandated for those who can take it which is 99% of population and vaccine passports should be in place till summer time but all restrictions including mandatory wearing of masks should be gradually removed by end of March and we have to learn to live with Covid. More Pfizer treatment pills must be purchased and available for everyone with a prescription.

People agree with that because it is basic human rights to live his or her life the way he or she prefers and born with and nobody else's business.

Nobody is teaching kids they have to be something they are not. They may be taught that they can be their own preference if they choose to, and that is fine. This is a free country not an islamic republic to lash people for being different or execute them if they act on their preference. I hope nobody is suggesting that. People are born with certain preferences and science has proven that. Their mind and soul are what they are. You can't force to change a person.

If there are people in the family distressed by this then they are just misguided and should be excluded from the family. Parents should love their children no matter what. I am not sure what you mean by school reaching kids they can choose what sex they want to be. People are born into certain sex and orientation. If I am a boy or a girl nobody can reach to change it but they can teach me at school to be accepting of my classmates no matter what sex they are or orientation they have and that is great.

Same, it may hurt some people especially if you say it in some religious parts of the continent. Besides it is nonsense. We all know Jesus was not what you say.
