Iran is none of any those countries whose borders were drawn in the middle of deserts by the British imperialistic powers and did not even exist 100 years ago. It may be true in SOME cases that they do it out of fear (though not widespread in Canada) but at the same time you ignore the fact that many of them CHOOSE to wear hijab out of their own beliefs.
