You are both evading a direct question. None of you gentleman proposed an alternative to mullahs and it seems to me you advocate mullahs staying in power. as you both oppose all the alternatives. Opposing the US and Trump or MEK or US invasin is not prposing a solution. I have preference and that is the returm of monarchy but what I want doesn't count since a solution has to be practical. The return of monarchy only possible if a democratic election is held in Iran under UN and that is impossible for mullahs to allow unless there is a US invasion which as I said is very unlikely or MEK take over and that is only if they allow free elections if they keep their promise to be democratic but in my view that is very unlikely too. But under MEK Iran will be China and under mullahs which I think you are advocating to stay Iran is North Korea in short term and will not exist in the long term and under monarchy Iran will become South Korea and Japan. So it is not hard to guess what my solution is. My solution is ANYTHING but mullahs. What I want is Japan or South Korea (monarchy) but what I relunctantly prefer is China (MEK) over North Korea (mullahs) and what I do not want is status quo of North Korea leading to complete descruction of Iran.

What you are saying marcus shows how disconnected or ignorant you are with the reality of Iranian political scene. Your solution is good and in the past people like Rafsanjani and Khatami and Rouhani tried to do just that EXCEPT that they were all BLOCKED by the real center of powers in Iran. That is the Ayatollahs and their thugs, the sepah (as just one example out of many as soon as Rouhani negotiated and signed the nuclear deal then the sepah likely under ayatollah's order started firing and testing balistic missile to kill the deal and they succeeded and many other examples). They do not allow open market. They did their best and were very successful to isolate Iran from the world because they knew they will not survive if Iran and affairs of Iranians improve like in China. In China dictotors who were also politicians and educated (like MEK politicians) got the power but in Iran a bunch of iiliterate uneducated ignorant bunch of people who only understand force and hate got the power and ruled for 40 years by deception and lies and creating imaginary enemies and fed on hate and threat of war and continous wars. It was the invisible government in Iran who has isolated iran for 40 years starting with American hostage taking in 1980 and contnuing an unnecessary war with Iraq for 8 years and acts of terrorism against Americans and Europeans and Jews and Israelis and just about everyone and extereme repression in Iran. The regiime in power do not wish to open up period. If they open up then they would be toppled period. THIS REGIME WILL NEVER BE REFORMED. 40 year is enough. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. Time for Ayatollahs to go BY ANY MEANS. They fooled Iran nation for 40 years with YOUR SOLUTION. Iran nation will NOT be fooled anymore. Your solution is that the regime of mullahs to remain in power and again promising that they will reform and open up to world and end Iran isolation (something that they have not done in 40 years) and I TOTALLY reject that fictitious solution as it is contrary to regime's nature and so will most if not all of Iranians as is evident by risking their lives and opposing this regime. Enough with these political games. Iran nation will not be fooled anymore with these lies and games and will not stand by and see their country is totally destroyed by these mullahs who can only survive on hate and isolation.
-
I have already said that they are hated by most Iranians however, to my surprise they can gather a good crowd outside Iran (about 100,000 last weekend). They have betrayed Iran and Iranians more than once. They helped the ayatollahs to come to power in 1979 and their help was significant and Iranians are in this mess because of them. They helped Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussain who invaded Iran and fought against their own homeland. They killed Americans before the 1979 coup. i do not like them at all. All that said, they are now speaking of democracy and equality especially equality of gender. Maybe they are reformed or changed after 50 years. There is a chance that they have which is better than NO CHANCE with mullahs as kactus has acknowledged they are NOT reformable. And may be like anyone else they need a second chance to prove one way ar another. For sure they will END Iran's isolation and at worse a dictatorship like China may emerge. A complete dictatorship but with growing economy and international investments. Or at best maybe they keep their promises and establish a democracy. Anything is better than status quo a there is NO HOPE and NO FUTUER in status quo. But Iranians cannot sit around and witness their lives and country completely destroyed and robbed even more by a bunch of terrorists until the perfect solution arrives whch may never arrive. As I said it is easy to be outside a fire and witness OTHERS burning in fire and ask them to be patient until the fire fighters arrive. I think last statement is a good example describing well how others who are outside iran are commenting opposing all available alternatives.
-
Sorry kactus but you have not given a direct practical response. You oppose and oppose but have not said what is the alternative to mullahs that can practically overthrow mullahs and take over and establish guaranteed democracy in Iran. You said MEK is very bad. You oppose US military interference on the grounds that democracy cannot be exported and has to be developed from within Iran. All I see in your comments is opposition to proposed solutions but no proposed solution from you. Mullahs to stay in power is your solution? (not that you want this of course) until the time that they totally and completely destroy Iran and civil war breaks out? and amillion more die? And remember that disintegration probability increases every day they remain in power. Please clarify one more time even if you say you have done so already, and with a very direct response. WHAT YOU PROPOSE IS BEST TO HAPPEN? since you are opposing everything I suggetsed. Are you saying it is best that mullahs remain in power? Since you already acknowledged they are not reformable? The nation of Iran don't have bread (a desparate need for growing economy NOW). Please do not suggest that they should eat cake (wait for democracy) instead

Iranian people are forced to choose between bad over worse for decades now. Sometimes one has to do this when there is no other alternative. So nothing new. remember when regime disqualified thousands and let only few regime stooges to remain in presidential elections? The poor people had to choose between one with white turban over the other with black turban and same in all previous so called fraud undemocratic elections. The regime even don't allow a powerless president of their own choosing to be elected and sometimes they even fix that. Like 2009 when massive protests was put down forcefully and many got killed and jailed and raped and disappeared. Yes I reluctantly choose MEK over the mullahs, regime which has already destroyed Iran and caused a million deaths and will completely destroy Iran and kill millions more if they stay in power. Every day in power, the probability of civil war and disintegration become more and more and economy will collapse further and poverty deeper and becomes more widespread. I want this end by any means but I asked you and marcus again if you have a better PRACTICAL solution the PLEASE PROPOSE. I am all ears.
-
Wrong. It benefits most the Iranian people who end the occupation of their country by a bunch of thugs and terrorists. But it also benefits THE WHOLE WORLD, that includes also Saudi Arabia and USA.
-
Yes it is called operation regime change.
-
In my vocabulary pressuring the regime to come to negotiating table is the regime behaviour change not regime change. I am not denying that the US want to see a regime change but indicating that hundreds of thousands of Iranians, women included risking their lives confronting the regime thugs on Iranian streets are instructed by the US or paid by US and Israel is a complete BS as Iran regime claims.
-
MEK is used as a tool by US to exert pressure on Iran regime for negotiation. They have no support in Iran or real chances to replace Iran regime.
-
Iran regime threatens the world. The collapsing islamic regime is trying to start a war to survive a bit longer. The powerless Iran president in Europe (while meeting prostitute government officials who wish to continue trade with iran regime in spite of its terrorist actvities and gross human right violations) threatened the world. He said if Iran cannot export its oil then nobody in the region can!!!!. Many analysts interpret this as closing of the vital strait of Hormuz where 40% of world oil is passing. Those mercenary navy guards must refuse to obey such orders which is simply for regime survival not for the good of Iran or else. The else would be that the US navy will blast them out of Persian Gulf and strait of Hormuz all the way to Caspian sea 1000 miles away.

Who will win World Cup Soccer in Russia?

England will be defeated in the next game for sure. It is a weak team. They were able to qualify for top 8 out of pure luck but no way they will qualify for top 4 even with luck. -

England did not deseved to be among 8 qualifying. Better teams like Spain, Portugal, Iran, Japan, Germany eliminated. They were in a weak group and they qualified as second in group then they had to play against a relatively weak Colombia and they won the latter as I said by pure luck. They did not deserve it. -

Hated to see England winning and it was by pure luck. -
Factories explode and six workers killed because of sanctions resulted from regime policies http://www.startribune.com/toxic-gas-leak-fire-kill-5-workers-near-iranian-capital/487135461/ Fires and similar incidents occur occasionally in Iran's aging oil-related facilities and other plants that were hit hard by years of Western sanctions. Very sad that ordinary people pay the price.

Belgium and Japan match was one of most exciting games. I was supporting the underdog Japan but again Belgiums played better and deserved a win. Last second counter attack was carried out real good. I feel sorry for the Japanese. -
Forcing a change that people don't want!!!!!! Iran nation does not want a regime change? Iran society is ready for democracy now. Iran has decades of political history, political parties, political oppositions and has been through two revolutions already (the constitutioanl revolution and the islamic revolution slolen by mullahs). Iran is not Iraq or Lybia. It has a very advanced westernised population and then again I am preaching to a converter!!. Btw, in Libya civil war had already started (armed opposition to Ghadafi) before the west interferred. The alternative to military invasion or civil war is MEK. I wished that Reza Pahlavi had a chance but I regretfully don't see how. And if you think Iranians can overthrow such a brutal regime with millions of paid thugs WITHOUT outside support then you live in a fantasy world. I don't want military invasion and as I said I don't see this as a probability as the US does not have the power or will to carry out such action so that is out but I can foresee a civil war as a real probability if this regime stays in power and I hate civil war a lot more. It is very destructive A civilian with fire gun was seen yesterday in Khoramshahr. The Kurds are arming themselves and so are others. Civil war and disintegration is a real possibility now IF the regime remains in power. Ideally the nation should vote for what they want. It is NOT up to us to decide for the nation of Iran that MEK is not a good alternative for them. The Nation is fed up and seeks every possible alternative. Easy for outsider to wait and see. Easy to see others burn in fire and ask them to be patient until fire fighters arrive. I see THIS regime reforming into a democracy happens when pigs start flying or hell freeze over many times and that is when mullahs evolve into humans..

The mullahs are the worst traitors. They destroyed the entire country, caused over a million deaths many by executions, took back the country 1400 years, forced medieval laws and still fully enforce them, represented evil and exported terrorism to the entire middle east. Isolated Iran and caused damage more than any enemy could. MEK is likely the second worst traitors. But you fell short of offering an alternative. Do you see any chance of monarchy returing? and if so how? Shouting Reza Shah God bless his soul and other slogans will not bring them back. To remove mullahs who has armed themselves to teeth a military force or liberation army as MEK said it is needed. Please PROPOSE A PRACTICAL SOLUTION. Details please. Are you suggesting that mullahs remain in power for years more until the entire country in brought down to its knees and economy is destroyed and street clashes continue all over Iran and people get shot and killed or jailed and tortured to death and currency continues to fall and civil war breaks out and disintegration occur at the end OR are you hoping that in many years after totally destroying the country assuming Iran will survive civil war and disintegration hopefully the apes will eventually evolve into humans and start reforming? The latter would never happen and we have 40 years of that to prove.
-
They have been meddling all the time and soon after invasion they did send a lot of arms and mercenaries to kill American soldiers and destabilize Iraq.
-
The second part is debatable but Well yes to first part nothing wrong with that. If the 2 million barrel oil is not replaced by anyone then oil will easily surpass $100 mark and we all pay for it. And they are not begging they are asking. Saudi Arabia wants a regime change in Iran more than US or as much so they have to do their part.
-
I did propose a blockage of Iranian oil export a few weeks ago as a mean to accelerate regime change and it appears the US is gradually adopting that policy. My proposal was military blockage of Iran oil export however, US is doing it in a non-military way by putting pressure on Iran customers to stop buying Iranian oil. My ultimate goal was regime change but it appears that the US goal is regime change of behaviour. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2018/07/aims-reduce-irans-oil-revenue-180702171030835.html

Plot of bomb attack by Iran terrorist regime on NRCI rally as an Iranian diplomat in Germany is arrested as well as the plotters. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-europe-attacks-belgium-iran/iran-diplomat-among-four-arrested-over-suspected-plot-against-iranian-opposition-meeting-idUSKBN1JS1C3 This group (MEK aka NRCI) must have really scared the mullahs' regime as a viable alternative to the hated regime to plot an attack on them in a foreign soil. They rooted them out in Iran by mass execution of its supporters, bombed and attacked their base in Iraq by Iraqi hired mercenaries and now the mullahs are after them even in France. They seem to be the only opposition group organized enough to topple the regime with military power. The other opposition group (the monarchy) has massive support but no military power.

I predicted Brazil will win the WC in the OP and I stick by by original prediction. -
So what is your solution???? The video is one-sided likely paid by Iran regime but as I said they are no angels but they are an alternative to this brutal regime. They have made mistakes in the past but they are reformed and evolved and at least they promise democracy and it is a sure thing that they will end Iran's isolation and hence people's lives will be improved as economy will start growing again and international investments start flowing because they are supported by the US and Iran is the best place to invest. Many iranian experts will return and the country's enormous problems caused by mullahs will be addressed. It will not be as great and bright as it was before the 1979 coup or a return of monarchy but the monarchy will come back only if there is a free election in Iran as what the people want and that is not very likely considering the nature of mullahs' regime. The alternatives are really scarey. Unless the mullahs give up power (which is extremely unlikely) and an election is held to see what Iranians want (which most likely they will vote for the return of monarchy) then one possibility is a military coup by the hated sepah. A military dictatorship likely a religious dictatorship at first, will replace the mullahs. Maybe an improvement in many ways but really this is not a better alternative to MEK. A second possibility is that fed up people may arm themselves (as the demonstrators in Kazerun were shouting) and armed conflict against the regime may break out in provinces like Kuzestan and Kurdestan and spread to others. The fed up provinces may even decide to break out from Iran and free their people from mullahs by breaking out after a long while as they may find the islamic republic hopeless and with no future in there for them. This is as bad if not worse then mullahs' regime in power. A third possibility is the mullahs stay in power (and they have proven that they are NOT reformable again and again) and continue to crack down on dissent and country's situation will get worse day by day and street protests in towns and cities and violent crack downs and more and more people get killed and jailed and human rights suppressed until the total and complete destruction and disintegration of the country. The longer this regime stays the higher is the chances for discontent, civil war and disintegration. This is also much worse than MEK. As a last but very unlikely possibility is US military invasion (very unlikely because US does not have the military power or will to invade Iran) and subsequent occupation and holding of a free election under UN. Most likely monachy will return if free election is held but the price may be too high as in any invasion country's remaining infrastructure will be destroyed and inevitably civilians get killed as well by mistake. You claimed that you also want regime change. So when you oppose the MEK alternative (and I must say there are good reasons for concern based on their past behaviour) then what is that you are proposing? Are you suggesting any of the alternatives above? It is easy to oppose and criticize BUT PROPOSE A BETTER PRACTICAL SOLUTION!!!!
-
Looks like you are distorting again. I never talked about ISIS. I talked about Iran regime destabilizing Iraq and making it weak which as a result ISIS was able to form years after US invasion.. If Iraq was under a strong democratic government there would have been no ISIS. To give you an example so that you understand. It is like the body immiune system. When the immune system gets weak (like Iran did to Iraq ) then opportunistic germs and viruses (like ISIS) appear and take over and make the body sick. The intention was to establish a democratic Iraq as a model for other regional countries and this would have been a thorne in the eye of Iran regime that a democratic country is established as a result of US invasion and Iran people may have demand same so the Iran regime ensured by its actions that the opposite of what intended to occur.
-
Thank you for the clarifications. Yes indeed the trio want a regime change of course like everyone else but it is the Iranian nation who are risking their lives every day battling the mercenaries of most brutal regime in history to make that change without any outside government ordering them to do so or paying them to do so. That is crystal clear. The second part is not correct. In 1953 the Shah was in power as a King and the prime minister was elected under his kingdom. Therefore the Shah coming back to his own legitimate crown was not a regime change. The King had the constitutional right to order the prime minister to step down (as economy started diving down and chaos ruled the capital because of his hardline policies) and the prime minister refused and started to rule in a way that many regard it as undemocratic (like arresting some opponents and disobeying the constitution). The country's economy started a dive and country's stability and security was compromised. The King left the country to Italy when the CIA backed coup occurred, he had no knowledge or part in it. When they brought him the news about it they told him that the nation has risen and asking the return of their King and he said, yes I knew the nation loved me!!!!. At the end Dr. Mossadegh policies nationalized Iran's oil and stopped robbery and theft of Iran's wealth by the damn British and God bless his soul for this. But I am not sure him remaining in power would have meant a better Iran in the long term. And indeed it worked well as afterwards Iran enjoyed its best years called golden years with double digit economic growth, a social revolution in a positive way, a complete and total stability called the island of stability, equality and freedom for women and minorities and a strong Iran (the fifth strongest army in the world) both politically and economically. God bless his and his father's souls. May they rest in heaven for services they did for 50 golden years for Iran and its nation turning a country in a state of collapse to a most advanced nation in the world by 1979 after which the mullahs took over in an UNHOLLY aliance with traitor commies and turned Iran into A PLANET OF THE APES.
