Canadians FEAR Trump...Big Time
CITIZEN_2015 replied to bush_cheney2004's topic in Canada / United States Relations
So far as long as Iran crisis is concerned Trump has shown courage and honesty supporting the weak and the defenseless (the Iranian people who have risen against their murderous brutal regime) not the one in power and do not make a deal with the devil. These are admirable qualities rarely seen in a US president. This is something that none of previous US Presidents have done, It was Eisenhower (burn in Hell) who stage a shameful military coup in Iran in 1953 which led to 1979 clerical coup and a disaster for Iran nation in both occasions or a peanut brain Carter who ceased supporting the Shah and started dealing with the mullahs and he paid the price for dealing with the devil or the coward spineless Obama who did nothing in 2009 and said nothing when Iran nation rose up and the regime brutally ended the uprising with many murdered. He is not mistake free he did a big mistake for threatening to attack Iran cultural sites which only serves the mullahs but he soon corrected that mistake and Iran nation appreciates and remembers President Trump support at the time of need when most of other leaders including that of EU are prostituting themselves to mullahs. I admire Trump for these qualities. Canada has nothing to fear from an honest courageous man, -
Some facts about Soleimani: Much of the media made a big deal of the crowds at his funeral without noting that many of those people were there against their will. There were celebrations across the region with pastries being shared in celebration. “Hours after the strike, video circulated online showing people celebrating in Soleimani's hometown of Kerman, Iran,” the Washington Examiner reported. And the people protesting in the streets now see cracks in the previously invincible façade of the mullahs and their thugs. Soleimani was supposed to be 10 feet tall and bulletproof and it doesn’t matter how big a funeral they throw for him. The people know President Trump pushed one button and returned the general to his component molecules. Iranians want the treasure and energy of a great country to go toward making their lives better, not supremacist adventures in other countries. Eggs and butter in Tehran trump guns and rockets in Syria. The protesters see corruption and incompetence and know there is a better way. The mullahs need to change their ways or the people will change them. However it happens, a more peaceful and prosperous Iran would be better for everyone. https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/jim-hanson-trumps-tweets-boost-iranian-protests-the-world-is-watching-president-warns-mullahs

President Trump's support for Iran nation boosts the protests. https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/jim-hanson-trumps-tweets-boost-iranian-protests-the-world-is-watching-president-warns-mullahs Iran regime killed an American contractor, then killed 176 innocents on an airplane. But the really horrifying thing is they killed more than 1,500 of their own citizens over the past months for the crime of protesting against the regime. Despite that crackdown, they are out in force protesting again, showing the bravery of the Iranian people and offering proof they are not going to accept the ongoing corruption and oppression of the mullahs. They have seen the damage these fanatics have done to the world and to their own country and they’ve had e The protesters got a tremendous boost when President Trump sent a tweet in Farsi supporting their cause, which rapidly became the most liked tweet in Farsi in the history of Twitter. -

Plane Crash Victims' Families Say No Official In Iran Has Contacted Them The sister of one victim told Radio Farda, “We will never forgive this crime” and added, “The Islamic Republic has proven in the past 40 years that except killing and bringing misfortune to the Iranian people has done nothing. This event will also go down in history as the rest of their crimes”. https://en.radiofarda.com/a/plane-crash-victims-families-say-no-official-in-iran-has-contacted-them/30371705.html -

In a symbolic gesture Iranian protesters purposely refuse to walk over the US and Israeli flags. http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/274449 The flags painted down by the regime to be walked over but instead the nation is now walking over the pictures of the ayatollahs which has brought nothing but death, destruction, misery and discrimination and division for this defenseless nation. In the second video the crowd brought down picture of general Soleimani while the crowd was cheering. I have heard crowds shouting admiration for the US before. I wonder how long before we hear admiration slogans for Israel from Iranian crowd who are now aware the Arab invasion has brought them the ayatollahs they now despise. -
No it is not 100% effective but the only other alternative is Argus's proposal of regional limitation like a ban on immigrants/refugees from Middle East and North Africa (India and China included in my book) however, I have not reached that stage yet to accept this as yet because I know a lot of well qualified westernized people from a few countries there who are already adopted to our western democratic values and will be very positive contributors to Canada.

The commander of revolutionary thugs (aka revolutionary guards) requested closing the Iranian Air space soon after the regime attacked American bases in Iraq but it was rejected by the top leadership as he wished to limit the Americans ability to hit important targets inside Iran by allowing commercial flights to continue. -
150,000 annual limit on immigrants and 15000 annual limit on refugees. Immigration officers can be trained properly to determine during interview.

Respect for women and diversity and respect for freedom of speech and choice is not subjective anecdotes but criteria that any democracy expects of its citizens and those are do not believe must not be accepted.
-
There has to be a limit on the number of refugees and a limited time for financial support. After a year or two all financial support must end and if they are not happy a free ticket back home should be purchased for them. They are so many legitimate easily adoptable immigrants in Eastern Europe and South America why is that Canada is admitting so many unadoptable immigrants whose beliefs and lifestyles are so different? Here we respect women, accept diversity, respect freedom of speech and choice, respect human rights. Refuse those who do not believe in same values.

Demonstrations continued for a second day in Tehran, despite a heavy police presence, with protesters calling for the ouster of senior officials. Videos posted online showed protesters shouting anti-government slogans throughout the subway stations and sidewalks, including around Azadi Square, where riot police have been sent. Second day of anti-regime protests in Iran. This murderous regime must go to the garbage bag of history. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-51081833 Demonstrators attended new protests despite a large deployment of security forces. Riot police, members of the elite Revolutionary Guard on motorbikes, and plainclothes security officials were out in force. In one apparently symbolic act rejecting state propaganda, video showed students taking care not to walk over US and Israeli flags painted on the ground at National University of Tehran in Tehran. In some social media clips, protesters can be heard chanting anti-government slogans, including: "They are lying that our enemy is America, our enemy is right here." Unverified social media footage showed clapping and chanting protesters in Tehran's Azadi square - and reports of clashes with security forces. Scores of protesters were also reported at sites in other cities.

Some of the slogan Iran nation is chanting “They are lying that our enemy is America, our enemy is right here,” a group of protesters outside a university in Tehran chanted, according to video clips posted on Twitter. Riot police fired teargas at thousands of protesters in the capital on Saturday, where many had chanted “Death to the dictator”, directing their anger at the Islamic Republic’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. “Apologise and resign,” Iran’s moderate Etemad daily wrote in a banner headline on Sunday, saying the “people’s demand” was for those responsible for mishandling the plane crisis to quit. “It is not a human error. This is a crime against humanity,” the son of the toppled shah of Iran, Reza Pahlavi, wrote on Twitter. “Khamenei and his regime should go.” In the November protests, demonstrators had chanted slogans supporting him. They killed 176 people but 63 of them were Canadians. They also murdered 1500 unarmed young protesters including 400 women and 17 children just last month in a nationwide protest against the regime. The order to kill came from the top leadership. These are most recent massacres but many more just past few years. https://www.voanews.com/middle-east/voa-news-iran/us-confirms-report-citing-iran-officials-saying-1500-killed-protests The reason Iranians cannot rid of this regime btw, is because the regime is too brutal and order its hired thugs to purposely target hearts and heads of protesters and does not care about international reactions and they enjoy support from two other murderous regimes of Russia and China. -
Anti-regime protests spread to other cities as courageous brave nation of Iran calls the leadership murderer and demanding a referendum on the imposed islamic republic. https://en.radiofarda.com/embed/player/Article/30373085.html?type=video&FullScreenMode=True

There are many similar scenarios when this regime has eliminated their own who may not have followed their strict way of repression (Rafsanjani, the former President of this regime) or became too popular and a threat for the leadership. Another example is ayatollah Taleghani at the beginning of the clerical coup in 1979. He became very popular as he started speaking against mass executions and extremism and suddenly he died of a heart attack the next day. Many similar examples when a popular figure who was a devoted member of the regime but deviated slightly from the extreme brutal line of the regime and became popular suddenly died in a suspicious manner.

I wouldn't put it beyond this deceiving murderous mullahs to have done exactly that. That is to have compromised Soleimani to Americans and they benefited a lot from it as we saw they were able to exploit the situation and gather millions for Soleimani's funeral and for several days there were no anti-regime protests anywhere in Iran. Soleimani had become very popular with the people because of he was an Iran-Iraq war veteran and instrumental in driving the murderous ISIS away from Iranian borders and later defeat them out of Iraq so yes he indeed was a threat to the murderous leadership of the regime. This regime has a history of such actions and another recent one is the elimination of a former president of their own regime (ayatollah Rafsanjani) who suddenly had a heart attack while swimming but many political observers know that he was murdered because he started opposing the extremists in the regime and their brutal way to suppress the people. -
Iran's sole female Olympic medalist defected citing the corrupt lying exploiting Iran regime. She said she is among millions of other women being repressed and exploited. https://www.cnn.com/2020/01/12/middleeast/iran-kimia-alizadeh-defects/index.html

President Trump warned Iran's islamic regime not to carry out another massacre as anti-regime demonstrations resumed in Iran (1500 unarmed people shot dead from behind last month by Iran's islamic regime), while saluting the brave nation of iran who came out and face with bare hands the heavily armed thugs of the most brutal regime in the history of mankind and that is the islamic republic of ayatollahs. Trump said: “We are following your protests closely, and are inspired by your courage.” “To the brave, long-suffering people of Iran: I’ve stood with you since the beginning of my Presidency, and my Administration will continue to stand with you,” Trump wrote. “There can not be another massacre of peaceful protesters, nor an internet shutdown. The world is watching,” Trump said. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/jan/12/donald-trump-warns-iran-against-another-massacre-amid-airliner-protests -
Do not kill peaceful defenseless people. Trump warning to Iran regime Donald Trump warned Iranian islamic regime against carrying out another massacre after anti-government demonstrations and protestd resumed in Iran. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/jan/12/donald-trump-warns-iran-against-another-massacre-amid-airliner-protests His message came after Iranian police dispersed students chanting “radical” slogans, according to Fars news agency, during A Saturday Gathering in Tehran to honour those killed when the Ukraine International Airlines plane was shot down shortly after taking off from Tehran. AFP correspondents said hundreds of students gathered early in the evening at Amirkabir University, in downtown Tehran, to pay respects to those killed in the air disaster. The tribute later turned into an angry demonstration. “To the brave, long-suffering people of Iran: I’ve stood with you since the beginning of my Presidency, and my Administration will continue to stand with you,” Trump wrote. “We are following your protests closely, and are inspired by your courage.” A senior US administration official said Iran’s downing of the plane was an “awful mistake” that formed part of a pattern of reckless behaviour. “It is more important now than ever that Iran abandons its reckless ambitions and starts behaving like a normal country,” the official said. “There can not be another massacre of peaceful protesters, nor an internet shutdown. The world is watching,” Trump said.

UK ambassador arrested for attending vigil for air crash victims!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-51077897 The UK ambassador to Iran was arrested during anti-government protests in Tehran after officials admitted shooting down a passenger plane. Rob Macaire was held for three hours, in what the UK described as a "flagrant violation of international law". It is understood he was attending a vigil for those who died in the crash, which turned into a protest. He left to make his way back to the UK embassy, but was arrested as he stopped at a barber shop for a haircut. In a statement, UK Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab said: "The arrest of our Ambassador in Tehran without grounds or explanation is a flagrant violation of international law. "The Iranian government is at a cross-roads moment. It can continue its march towards pariah status with all the political and economic isolation that entails, or take steps to deescalate tensions and engage in a diplomatic path forwards." BREAK OFF ALL TIES WITH THIS REGIME

No because people used the clergy as last resort to rid of the system as everyone else and everything else failed. The opposition Not knowing that they have just asked for help from the devil himself. The commies also supported the clergy as it was their thought that they can easily get rid of a few hundred uneducated clergy. Gosh they mistaken as the commies became the first target for elimination and many thousands were executed first few years. Everyone else including the nationalists front party failed. It is important to note that the Shah played no role in the coup and was unaware of it. He genuinely thought as he was told that the nation has risen demanding him back on the thrown. -
Protests erupt in Iran again. https://www.cnn.com/2020/01/11/middleeast/iran-shot-down-ukrainian-plane/index.html Thousands gathered outside the gates of Amir Kabir University, near the former US embassy in Tehran, to denounce the plane crash the government blamed on human error and "US adventurism." In video posted on social media, protesters chanted for Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei to step down and for those responsible for downing the plane to be prosecuted. "Death to the dictator," some chanted. In one video, demonstrators chanted, "Khamenei have shame. Leave the country." A mass vigil commemorating the victims of the doomed flight escalated into an angry demonstration following the government admission, according to Iran's semiofficial FARS News Agency. University graduates migrating to Canada were among those who perished in the crash. FARS reported that Iranian police dispersed students who entered and blocked main roads. Their anger was fueled in large part by the nation's armed forces claim that it targeted the passenger plane unintentionally. It attributed the crash to radar activity and fear of US action.
