You need to read up on it, Rue. Yes, minimum wage hikes do generate increased consumer spending, because min wage workers have more money to spend and they spend it all. It's a well known fact. They also stay in their jobs, reducing unemployment, and reducing employer staffing and training demands. Businesses do better, increasing government tax revenues. None of the doomsday scenarios of the vocal fringe businesses have proven true in Ontario. Quite the opposite. Being stingy with employees is not a successful business plan, but a recipe for bankruptcy.

Do you mean in the military or elsewhere too? The RCMP & CSIS now for the first time have a mandate to investigate those two groups for any planning of terrorist activities, and no doubt they'll find more connections too. B&H and C18 may be taking more steps to conceal themselves now.
