Public sector wages are too high. They don't care about non union members. Without these unions taxes could be reduced since we would no longer need to inflated wages to people. Would save a lot of cash. Most public sectors should be paid half to two thirds of what they're paid now. Make them illegal and give them all a wage cut. If they don't like that fire them. In tough times we all need to tighten our belts. Public sector just gets more greedy.

Why are you making excuses for him? He made racist and misogynistic remarks yet you're not attacking him for it....why? Or in this case why not? Is it now acceptable to make those sorts if remarks. Could Harper make the same remarks?

Yes mixed system will be best. We keep taking in immigrants that do not pay taxes yet use a lot of Healthcare. Look in the emergency room of any big city hospital. The proof is right there.

Smart people planned for their own retirement and didn't expect the government pension to be enough to live on. I'd like to see it abolished completely. People should save for the own retirement. Not depend on government.

If a parties message is that important they will be able to raise money. Conservatives donations are mostly under $100. They're hardly only rich people who support them. Every party must raise money. If they cannot then they're a fringe party.Tory NDP and Liberals are the main parties in Canada. Greens are a fringe fourth party. Low fundraising and low vote count percentage. Face the facts. They're a fringe party who will not form government this election. They may get up to 12 seats in 30 years.

If Canada won't make our money back from these refugees then we shouldn't take them in. This country isn't a charity. Citizenship isn't a right but a privilege. We only need the best. Only 11% of the refugees are University educated. Thats the only people we should draw from. Even though Syrian Uni is far behind us at least they have some education. No family type uneducated poor should be taken in. They're more likely to harbor backward ideals not compatible with our country.

Public sector union members are not the working class. They make sometimes north of 100k a year. They have too much power and should be banned outright through legislation. We cannot afford to pay more and more forever.

How are ads anti democratic? If anything not allowing them would be anti democratic. Freedom of speech is critical to our survival. Why would you wish to limit this through law?The other parties do wish to rake in hundreds of thousands of these Syrian refugees. The same Syrians who hate Jews and Israel. The same Syrians who wish to destroy Israel. It's dangerous for our Jews to take in so many who would wish to harm them. Once we take them in we will be stuck with them. We can't send them back if they commit crimes or stay on welfare forever. The opposition wants to take in 50 000 refugees by Christmas and even more next year. We need only rake those who will be a good fit for Canada. Those that will assimilate into our culture and become Canadian and not remain Syrian. Have a good day.

The other 3 parties have 30%+ support. Greens have less than 4%. That is not equal. Under PR system Greens would have zero seats. Total fringe party. Against using military for any reason. This party has no place in debates. Not until they enjoy mainstream support and increased seat count. Quite simple actually.

They treated it as a serious threat. A kid brought a questionable looking device to school. The teacher thought it looked questionable enough to notify the proper authorities. Those authorities decided it best to detain this young adult and question him until they were satisfied. I would hope that teachers at my child's school would protect my child in the same manner. The Green party is a fringe party because they don't have mainstream support hence fringe support. I'm happy the Greens have seats but they don't have the seats right now to be called a mainstream party. They don't belong in the maim debates as they will not be forming government right now.

3 soldiers are Canadian citizens. No less valuable. Terrorism must not be allowed to fester amongst our young people who hold the Islamists as heroes. The young minds are being radicalized. Terrorism is a constant threat.

They are a fringe party though. You cannot deny that. Less than 4 percent of the vote is fringe territory. They do not have official party status. Results like that election after election solidifies that.I think most people know what the middle class is. Not poor. Not rich. But in the middle.Poor is under 20k per year. Middle is over 40k but less than 100k. Rich is over 100k per year to over 250k per year. Sunshine list. No one is stifling May. She is open to put forth any opinion she wishes. Always better to safe than sorry. We didn't need another school mascacre. The police did right by placing the perp in handcuffs temporarily until all was sorted out. Nothing bad was found so he was given a stern warning and released. It was appropriate. No one was hurt which is the main thing.

Running a country or province is multi faceted and complex. It's not enough to simply care about the environment and forgo everything else.

I don't use pot but I'm all in favor of legalization. I want it to be legal to grow possess and consume with prohibition while driving like alcohol. I think all parties change rules based upon the own beliefs of the party. Conservatives like tradition. The other parties hate tradition and are constantly trying to destroy tradition.
