I'm critical of anyone who wishes to threaten our way of life in our society. Which is an inclusive, tolerant, secular society where we have freedom of religion but also freedom from religion.

We regulate cannibalism. I'm sure some would like to practice it yet we say that you cannot eat this type of meat due to moral issues. So why can't we make it law that one is not allowed to eat dogs and cats?

I don't see why that having the FN people having the same status as citizens as the rest of us. I don't understand why they should get a free ride in a lot of things. If we ate all equal and treated equally many of these problems will go away. The FN won't feel special and entitled.

They are also talking about removing the Confederate Flag from the Capital(Capitol?)building. They wanting to do this because of this killing. What are your thoughts on this? Seems like a lot of people think it as a racist flag and a symbol of slavery. The civil war wasn't fought over slavery like so many think so I'm confused as to why remove it and why now?

I don't doubt that some have and want to live peacefully in Canada. Some are wanting Shariah Law here though too. Will those that want Islamic Law not be shamed into siding with the Shariah Law proponents here in Canada? That's what is scary to me. Once they're here its too late to kick them out. If you look on Google Muslims are building Mosques in so many cities, towns and villages. Why are they building Islamic communities is small towns? I'm not trying to ignore what others are saying at all. I'm sorry if it appeared that way Michael. Just voicing and exploring what I think is a legitimate concern.

I think our gun laws are ok as is. I'd like to have CCW permits but other than that we have a good system and doesn't need to be changed. The US seems to be a little lax in some states but that's not for me to decide since I don't live there. That's for those states to decide. If somepone wants to kill someone they will do so whether they use a gun or a bat or a knife. Legal gun or illegal gun. Irrelevant.

Everyone should be treated equally. No special programs or grants or opportunities based on ones race, gender, ethnicity or religion. Real equality. That's what Canada is supposed to be.

So if the Torys aren't running due to greed does the same g for these MP's as well? Shocking that Libby Davies isn't running again. Is she quitting because of the pension rejigging as well? Just want to see if the same people have the same attitude when their own people are quitting as well.

I mean't in Canada. I thought that was clear. Even eating at a restaurant that serves dog means you probably ate it already. The health and cleanliness isn't up to our standards. So they could've cooked your meal with remnants of dog left on the cooking surface.

At one point you're stating that big business does have influence over government. Earlier you stated that big business isnt a significant employer and doesnt influence the economy. You're trying to play both sides. Either big business employs a large number of people and has influence or it doesn't. At least these people have a say. Unions are anti conservative against the members wishes. I know union members who are conservative.

In Canada Id say that no one eats dogs. Never seen it offered in any restaurants or any butchers here in Canada. If you can prove that ppl in Canada do in fact eat dogs then I'll listen. Where do they eat sthem? Which restaurants serve dog? Where are the slaughterhouses for dogs? Where are the farms for raising dogs?
