That actually went on for a long long long long time. Apparently, what the people were really protesting was the mainland immigrants coming over to Hong Kong! Imagine if people in Canada started protesting immigrants coming to Canada! WWWTT

Still seems according to my memory that the polls are hitting around 75% accuracy ish. It's that 25% that sticks in people's minds causing doubt and hesitation. Either way you look at it, if people are going to change direction, going WR isn't really that much if any change. Would voting liberal be any different? Not sure what the Alberta liberal policy is/are. But I will assume they are like/similar to BC, so very little change there either. Rachel Notley is turning out to be a strong confident leader this country hasn't seen for some time would be a safe comment to make! She made it clear where the NDP stands! And people like her charisma! WWWTT

Because it is possibly the new head of state for more than one country! Including Canada! So go give them your money and adorn the "chosen ones" with gifts and jewels! Go pray to them and wish them the best of health as they set a fine example that we must all look up to! WWWTT

Around WW2 or just before, China got rid of their monarchy system. And people in China can protest and debate/contribute to their government. Try that in Montreal I am not so fluent in North Kore so any comment I make would be very limited. But it seems that NK has a monarchy type system or influence of? WWWTT

I had this debate before on this site about people's right's in China verses those in Canada. One issue that comes up is voting for our political leaders. Wait for it.... Some people go a step further, arguing that we shouldn't just pay less attention to the majestic goings-on, we should do away with the non-democratically-elected head of state altogether -- even if their role is largely ceremonial. Over at Gawker, Hamilton Nolan published an impassioned plea for the monarchy to end, likening it to the mafia and saying it siphons needed revenue away from millions of unemployed Britons, or any number of other, more worthy causes. But this of course is in the UK. And we're in Canada we elect our head of state! Ya actually this all started because I called Mike Duffy an MP. All related to the debate of the senate where Duffy sits and the fact that only an conviction can pull him from his seat. However, Guyser2 felt that a crusade to rip a pound of flesh from WWWTT's hide was in order, and somehow, your moderation felt such crusade was validated since only my comments have been deleated! (we've had this discussion before) Obviously Guyser2 is Hardner or you or Greg. So obviously I'm going to lose. So go ahead and suspend me Charles Anthony! Not going to get anywhere anyways so I just go out in style with a ban! You think I'm scared I'm going to get banned from this site? Wasted enough of my time as is already!
