What kind of fool suggests that there are no rules of war? What kind of fool denies that illegal invasions of sovereign nations is a war crime under international law? What kind of fool forgets all the propaganda about "day will live in infamy"? No declarations of war, blatant lies to justify illegal invasions, illegal drone strikes inside sovereign nation territories killing innocents by a country that shelters the most terrorists to be found anywhere?

By your own admission, you have noted how the USA organizes and supports the most evil groups known to mankind to do what, free the poor and the oppressed? Why would you think them funding ISIS would be any different?
-
Do you dispute that the USA has lied numerous times about it funding various terrorist groups around the world, Michael? What might be the difference between funding brutal, right wing dictators or right wing terrorist groups?

US ambassador can't get his calls answered.

Do you think it's any creepier than B_C screaming out his unreserved support for the long history of USA war crimes and terrorism? -
Je suis Omar. Tu es Omar. Nous sommes Omar.

Not at all, but you actively support terrorism against numerous countries around the world with your unflagging support of the largest terrorist group on the planet, the USA. Oh, have I mentioned how much I enjoy your sources? Noam Chomsky: The Long, Shameful History of American Terrorism President Obama should call our countrys history of supporting insurgents abroad for what it is: U.S.-backed terrorism. BY NOAM CHOMSKY It's official: The U.S. is the world's leading terrorist state, and proud of it. http://inthesetimes.com/article/17311/noam_chomsky_the_worlds_greatest_terrorist_campaign

There's those Argus "economic and statistics" sources again. Pretty hard to discuss things with a brainy guy like you.

I'm impressed by your "economic and statistics" offerings, Argus. You really offer killer sources!Photos of the six Jesuit priests and their housekeeper murdered by U.S.-supported soldier in El Salvador's civil warone of many examples of ... NOVEMBER 3, 2014 Noam Chomsky: The Long, Shameful History of American Terrorism President Obama should call our countrys history of supporting insurgents abroad for what it is: U.S.-backed terrorism. BY NOAM CHOMSKY It's official: The U.S. is the world's leading terrorist state, and proud of it. That should have been the headline for the lead story in the New York Times on October 15, which was more politely titled CIA Study of Covert Aid Fueled Skepticism About Helping Syrian Rebels. The article reports on a CIA review of recent U.S. covert operations to determine their effectiveness. The White House concluded that unfortunately successes were so rare that some rethinking of the policy was in order. The article quoted President Barack Obama as saying that he had asked the CIA to conduct the review to find cases of financing and supplying arms to an insurgency in a country that actually worked out well. And they couldn't come up with much. So Obama has some reluctance about continuing such efforts. The first paragraph of the Times article cites three major examples of covert aid: Angola, Nicaragua and Cuba. In fact, each case was a major terrorist operation conducted by the U.S. http://inthesetimes.com/article/17311/noam_chomsky_the_worlds_greatest_terrorist_campaign

Michael Hardner does not like trolling. I'm pleased, no, thrilled to see that not only do you support personal freedom of choice but you also actively and ferociously support freedom of expression. You truly are a patriot, Argus, not in the filthy, gutter like sense that's used in the USA, where "patriots" are those that rejoice in the slaughter of innocent men, women and children.

Here's a mirror, Argus.

Rue: This country started with specific aboriginal values. It was then added to by British and French laws, cultures and traditions. It was then added to by many ethnic groups who came to Canada and none of us imposed and demanded our values be forced on others. Omar: Lordy, lord, but you are ignorant of history, Rue! Have you not heard of the Canadian government's long standing policy of genocide against First Nations peoples, supported actively and passively by most all Canadians. Do you not know of the Residential Schools? Really, get yourself up to speed before you recommence to shovelling.
-
Could you point out your facts and figures, in this or in any post you've ever posted at MLW, Argus?

I don't like how the Hutterites or Haredim dress. Telling quote from Mr I embrace democratic principles. And these ginormous leaps of logic!
-
Can you say Harper, Kenny(sp??), ... ?
-
Rue: We are a democracy. As such we shall debate the cultural values we want this country to promulgate. Omar: Whenever you find yourself up a stump, Rue, you furiously increase your rate of shovelling. A higher pile of BS isn't any different that a lower one. We are a democracy and one of the most important principles is personal freedom of expression. Not Rue's or harpers or Kenny's narrow minded, bigoted notion of what personal freedom of expression means, but the meaning embraced by most thinking Canadians, or Americans or Brits or ... . Rue: Some of us do not want a country that embraces cultural values that feel a female face is sexually provocative and needs to be covered up. We also question any cultural value or religious value that comes into conflict or contradicts the existing Canadian values. Omar: "Some of us" sums up and describes your entire argument. It doesn't matter a good dog damn what Some of us want. What part of personal freedom of expression do you not understand?

Go ahead and explain, using your exceptional knowledge of history, how the ones I listed "were pretty bad as well". But yet you support the greatest terrorists on the planet, the USA, the ones that have been terrorizing, poisoning, torturing, killing Cubans, Iraqis, afghans, Nicaraguans, Brazilians, Guatemalans, Vietnamese, Cambodians, Filipinos, Chinese, Laotians, Hawaiians, ... for over a century. And don't forget Native Americans. And you don't see the huge disconnect in your thinking?
