No what it means is dismantling a gang of thugs, that steal money, keep their people in poverty and ignorance, and engage in war with a nation that has a democratic process. I don't subscribe to the silly Lie-beral idea that such men can be 'managed' and 'controlled'. They can only be useful when dead, when they are replaced by real processes of change and reform whereby the rights, lives and success of the Palestinian people are put ahead of the greed, graft and cowardice of thugs like Arafat. Good riddance to the odious little monster, the world's ugliest man. For too long he has kept his people in bondage.

Ontario Liberals And The Media
Craig Read replied to dnsfurlan's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
The Tories in Ontario are liberals and left of centre. They are not conservatives. No reforms, no cuts, no intelligent policy, nothing on the key issues that confront us. Just more post modern babble about love, high taxes and high spend, encased in the multi-cultural ie. anti-Western tradition, mess that we find ourselves in. It matters not whether Eves or Howdy Doody get in, both have largely the same ideals -- spreading the power of government and increasing public spend. -
Sue The Airlines For 9-11 ?
Craig Read replied to Craig Read's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Tort lawyers again. They collect 2 % of GDP in the US - all 1000 of them. Then they take the funds and support the Clintons and other Gollum like creatures of the political left. The legal industry is one aspect of the US I detest. They need to clean that up or lose their way in a morass of apartheid, post modern thinking. -
Lying, manipulation, using public money to try to bring down a government, unsubstantiated sources, bad news casts, poor programming, living off the socialised tax system - this is ridiculous and immoral. They receive ad dollars like a private company but are coddled by the gov't. Good grief man, maybe time to grow up and stop slurping public supported palp ?

New charge from the English courts AGAINST the BBC. ======== Greg Dyke, the BBC's director general, acknowledged at the inquiry that he was unaware for "several weeks" of the details of a BBC report that claimed the British government had "sexed up" intelligence to make the case for war in Iraq. On several occasions, the judge or his lead counsel questioned Mr. Dyke about whether the BBC had adequately addressed the government's denial of the report. The judge, Lord Hutton, questioned why the BBC board of governors in July had strongly endorsed the controversial May 29 BBC radio report without seeing an internal BBC e-mail in which the radio program's editor said the broadcast was "marred by flawed reporting." Mr. Dyke attended much of that governors' meeting. "Do you not think," asked Lord Hutton, "that someone in the BBC chain of management should have brought this to the attention" of Mr. Dyke or the BBC's news director, Richard Sambrook, before the governors' meeting? Replied Mr. Dyke: "Whether they should have done, they did not." He said the BBC's overall response had been shaped by a broad and "unprecedented" attack on its journalistic credibility by Prime Minister Tony Blair's office. ============= Amen. Disband the ruse and nonsense of public propaganda outlets.

After Gulf War I France insisted that Iraq had legitimate territorial claims in the Gulf area. France proceeded to trade illegally with Hussein and reap billions of dollars in contracts. France opposed Gulf War II on the grounds that Hussein did not pose an immediate threat to Western interests. Now France wants to block another UN resolution on UN aid to Iraq in the form of $, men and police work. Magically there is now a French insistence on Iraqi self-rule. This is really very touching given their opposition to toppling Hussein's dictatorship which was murdering hundred's of thousands of people. The French also know that no one wants to turn authority over to Iraqis more than the U.S. does, as soon as they are ready. The Iraqi's will not be ready for some time, everyone knows this. The ploy is so transparently cynical that it suggests the French goal is to find some excuse, any excuse, to draw out negotiations as long as possible, or to gain as many commercial concessions as possible for French companies. This makes a laughingstock of the UN and internationalism. A second rate power, playing games, while first people died; and now while a country's future is at stake.

The CAIRNS group, and developing countries called the US and EU bluff on agricultural subsidies and tariffs. Good for them. Time to get farmers who are 2 % of the GDP from managing trade relationships. Frankly I am sick and tired of the agro-business lobby group that seems to believe that all of Europe and North America exist for their approval. Free Trade will help cure poverty. The World Bank estimates that a new round of market opening would raise global output between $290 billion and $520 billion and lift some 144 million people out of poverty by 2015. Dan Griswold of the Cato Institute cites a May 2002 International Monetary Fund paper showing that ending agricultural protectionism alone would add $100 billion to global growth. Some $92 billion of that would go to the developed world, in the form of lower prices and better allocation of resources, and $8 billion would go to poor countries. Cancun doesn't yet mean this Doha trade round is dead. The Uruguay round took eight years before it succeeded in 1993. Zoellick, the U.S. trade czar, has also stressed that he will continue to pursue bilateral and regional trade pacts with willing partners. Australian Prime Minister John Howard said yesterday that he expects to reach such a deal with the U.S. as early as next month. Canada is apparently trying to organise trade pacts with developing countries. Bi-lateral or group agreements conforming to the WTO to reduce these pernicious subsidies and tariffs to fat overpaid farming interests is the way to go. From a free trader's view, after all, the World Trade Organization is a protectionist device. It allows countries to justify, on grounds of treaty reciprocity, limits on trade that otherwise make no economic sense. Perhaps it's time for the U.S. and other countries that benefit from open global markets to begin once again practicing unilateral free trade. The WTO is certainly not dead - but the bluff has been called.

Religion In Public Schools
Craig Read replied to Democracy of Steve's topic in Moral & Ethical Issues
Religion is spiritual and spirituality is needed to ward off government. Henry the II tried to fuse Church and State and killed Beckett the Archbishop of Canterbury who opposed it. Politically he failed but his namesake Henry VIII tried it again by rejecting Rome and become the titular head of the Anglican Church and State. This is a form of despotism that leads to abuse. Eventually the English through the civil war and the Glorious Revolution firmly separated spirituality from gov't control. This along with a vibrant middle class, open markets and an educated population keeps the despots of the world at bay. Without religious separation we are in trouble. This is why Gay Marriage which the Lie-berals want to ram through via unelected judges and not through Parliament is so dangerous. The State has no business altering a non-State institution. -
No i will vote for the NDP. Eves is an utter clown. McGuinty should be hosting the howdy doody show. Neither has put forward a coherent program other than vague promises to spend more money. No reforms, nothing on taxation, nothing on spending cuts, nothing on security, nothing on the relationship with Ottawa, nothing on why Toronto should fund the rest of the Province, nothing on transportation [except to build more highways funded of course by Joe taxpayer], nothing on how the Waterfront will be funded [except that $13 billion will come from Joe taxpayer with no ROI in sight], nothing on improving the immigration system [except some vague idea from Eves that Ont. will control it somehow], and nothing on rejecting Kyoto which will cost Ontario 300.000 jobs. Howie said something about the pay of MPs being too high and he would reduce the pay and pension packages. Given the largesse we pay out for such a group of detritus I am fully in favor of that one cogent idea of the campaign that I have heard thus far.

Utter tripe. In the real world, Clinton pulled out of Somalia, bombed an aspirin factory as the cigar-sex scandal screamed out of control in Sudan, made no efforts to eliminate terrorist camps and did nothing to shore up and prepare national defences. The Clinton News Network and Friends can try to cover up the truth - but the great thing is that most Americans know he screwed up. He was a patsy on Foreign Affairs. Too busy with his personal problems and pardoning criminals to run the country properly. A very sad President, one of the worst ever, in the same leagues as that nauseating dolt Jimmy Carter.

KK, how true, in fact in most major EU cities you can see on TV mullahs chanting death to the West. In Paris police are constantly uncovering arm caches in the poor banlieues that surround Paris - many of these buildings are Muslim extremist strongholds. I read one article in a French magazine that said most of these places are prepared for a small war. And of course you have the Arab zealots that burn the flags of their adopted countries. In Canada Concordia students can celebrate 9-11, defame the Flag, scream anti-Semitic insults and nothing happens. Welcome to post modern idiocy. Please come to our country, tell us we are stupid, ignorant, beastly and evil. And then celebrate when your esteemed brethren kill innocents. Rather sick isn't it ?

Yes Lie-berals have a few key concepts that dominate their thinking and blind them to reality: 1. Security - above all they need security and an assurance of what shall transpire. This is why they love government. 2. Power - to control, cajole, blackmail or coerce you into their mindset tantalises Lie-berals. They are the Orks of the modern world. Blind obedience to a master is a must. 3. Slander - nothing stimulates the appetite like good old fashioned name calling and emotional bed wetting for Lie-berals. Devoid of facts, common sense or historical understanding they resort to libel. 4. Revisionism - since Lie-berals are too intellectually and usually physically lazy to achieve in life [with the notable exceptions being lawyers], they revise history, to provide a rationale for a care giving state. Guilt, duty, obligations and the like are employed to develop reasons why 60 % of the available working population must support everyone else. This also includes of course program support that denigrates White Christian civilisation. After all the poor countries of the world and their people are just as worthy as ourselves. This is why they live in such a miserable mess. Basically Liberals are anti-intellectual, anti-reality, cheap suited car salesmen, who want to live off the fat of others. This is why they are so pernicious, obnoxious and entirely forgettable.

Ontario Liberals And The Media
Craig Read replied to dnsfurlan's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Sure thing. The snivelling Post Modern elite, who benefit from the system will always be against reform. Reformers are modern day Thomas a Beckett's opposing the Henry II's in the media - who are intent on melding Church, Family and State into one elitist controlled monstrosity. It is a long hard road against such prejudices. -
In a desperate measure that only the Dumbocruds could love, the most overturned Apellate court in America gave Dumbo Davis and his tax and spend Lie-berals more time. It will not however save Davis. First, the court order will probably be overturned. Second, Arnie will have more time to get his message out, which will finish off Dumbo Davis. Third, Criminal Clinton is helping out Davis which assures Arnie of victory. Not even Cali is dumb enough to believe lying Bill.

The Clinton news network which loves to regal us with US failures was apoplectic about Tiny's last tape. Hey i was in NYC when the tape came out 10 minutes from the World Trade Centre area, and not one New Yorker i knew gave a whit about Tiny's 'new tape'. Considering that it was made 5 years ago, and made no references to dates, times, events, or even had the common sense touch of holding up a current newspaper, it kind of makes sense that the tape was unimportant. Except for CNN and its breathless teeth and hair reporters convincing us that doom was imminent. U.S. intelligence officials had clearly said that nothing suggested the videotape was made this spring. But don't tell the Clinton News Network, the Hillary for 2008 campaign has begun, the war on terror must end in defeat dammit if Hitlery is to win !!
-
Then why is Pakistan complying with US demands ? Where is the Arab street revolt that the Lie-berals rave about ? Why did 2/3 of Iraqi's in a recent poll affirm US occupation ? Why is Afghanistan slowly rebuilding itself under US control with the main problem being warlords defying Karzai and Kabul ? India which has a huge Muslim group is now fighting terror. Same for Indonesia, Jordan, Morocco and the Arab Emirates. Sorry but you are wrong. Freedom is its own best advertiser. This is why 55 % of young Arab men want to go West.
-
What a farce. Clinton said in a speech in NY years after the event ? Oh yeah good proof. Right on Ace. Clinton the notorious liar who perjured himself and was impeached ? Clinton who would lie to his own wife is to be trusted with his recollection that he was 'tough on terror'. Sorry Ace. Actions not words. Clinton missed the opportunity and 9-11 was the price.

Liberal States Losing People, $
Craig Read replied to Craig Read's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
It is the only system to benefit the poor. It is the only system that forces a middle class and separation of powers in government. It is the only system to produce wealth which produces private charity - witness the billions that Gates dispenses. It has its issues and needs some regulation, but it provides a means for all to pursue their self interests and desires. Flawed yes - but far better than anything else. -
Arafat is the problem. Time to start fixing the problem at its core - which is the elimination of Arafat and his corrupt gang, Hamas, Holy Jihad, Tiny Penis Jihad and so on. Being an ostrich does not help.

Passport And Biometrics Soon Mandatory
Craig Read posted a topic in Canada / United States Relations
US officials are informing Ottawa - that great bastion of post modern complexity - that a simple passport with biometric data will be necessary to cross into the US. Message: "Your borders are porous, you have no security, either you comply with this, or we will take other measures to control our frontiers" So Canada needs the US to reform its security and borders ? Excellent. -
A great leader then wasn't he. I suppose he did a focus group, a poll, canvassed the Dumbocruds who are arch appeasers and then ask Monica for a BJ before deciding it was all just too much work to stop terrorism dead in its tracks. Clinton was remarkably good at doing nothing and ignoring everything - except of course interns, real estate deals and pardoning criminals that donate $ to the Dumbocruds.....

Riff you are an idiot. 'Beyond our control' - great that is liberalism for you - only God and the powers of dialecticism determine our fates. Moron. It can and must be controlled and the answer is political will and guts, the answers are not: 1. Give illegal immigrants driver's licenses 2. Give illegal immigrants social services 3. Allow the Mexicans NOT to reform their society and to stop exporting people 4. Engage in historical revisionism 5. Create an apartheid hispanic system 6. Pander to hispanic voters by funding huge therapy, social programs and the like They are in the US to find a better life. But they should be a. legal and b. taught that the US IS a superior country. Because it simply is and that is why they are there.

Yes i agree. Oslo is nonsense. Arafat is a terrorist, has not built one shred of a organisation dedicated to democracy, uses funds from abroad to arm the insurrection and uses terrorist links to import weapons. Time to kill him. In fact the time WAS LONG AGO to get rid of the world's ugliest man. You would think the Palestinians would be happy to get rid of his holy ugliness - at least have the decency to have somebody that ressembles a human leading the PLO.
-
Many Conservatives won't vote for Uncle Ernie and the Knitting Crew. Too many whiny cry baby compassionate Lie-bullroar wannabees in his inner therapy group. I will vote for Hampton and the NDP for 2 reasons; 1. Mickey Mouse is not on the ballot and Howie Hohumpton is the closest we have and 2. He actually said something intelligent about wanting to decrease MP salaries and pensions - a measure I would fully endorse, since millions are paid out to these jokers over their life time. Go Howie Go !!
-
KK, you are dealing with marxist revisionists - these would be the same Lie-bullroars that deny the existence of the Holocaust. Sure Turkey wanted no part of Gulf War II. The reasons are legion; anti-American populace, US forces would parade through Turkish territory compromising Turkey's vaunted sovereignty, southeaster Turkish trade would be decimated by the overthrow of Insane Hussein's regime, the Kurds in Turkey might be emboldened to form a Pan Kurdish state with their brothers in Iraq and France and Russian pressure was overbearing not to fall into the 'American' camp. The fact that Iraq is free, has a chance and can rebuild itself without the useless slaughter of civilians occuring on a daily basis, plus all the geo-political benefits of reforming the Middle east does not make any impression on the racist anti-jew anti-american Lie-bullroar group. For them freedom is not important. Just spin.
