Zionism and the idea of colonizing Palestine originated from an atheist European Jew. Before settling on Palestine, Zionist leaders considered other locations, such as Uganda and Argentina, for establishing a Jewish state. Today, the connection that Zionists and their supporters attempt to draw to events from 3,000 years ago is an insult to intelligence. Genetic studies show that European Jews have minimal connection to the ancient Israelites and Canaanites. In contrast, Palestinians have the strongest genetic link to these ancient peoples. This is why Israel restricts DNA ancestry tracing. It also explains why skin cancer rates are so high in Israel—European Jews are not naturally suited to the intense Middle Eastern sun. The occupation continued after the withdraw of the settlers in the North of Gaza. Israel still had control over the borders, the sea and the air. They controlled what went in and out. There was a brutal blockade of Gaza and 3 brutal attacks on Gaza, where thousands of Palestinians were killed and injured. As long as you have a brutal occupier, there will be resistance.

Anyone who wants to move, should be able to, as long as they have a right to that land or as long as the country they want to go to allows them to. Many Palestinians in Gaza are refugees who were forced out of what is now Israel. They should also be allowed to go back to their homes there. Over 500 towns and villages were destroyed during the Nakba, in 1948.

We are beyond the question of whether Israel is right or wrong. Why even have this discussion?
