  1. That would have been very cool. One of my favourites. Here is her performance.
  2. My very first album was Joe Cocker that a bf bought me. But I was certainly too young to attend Woodstock 69. Did you attend Woodstock Jaycee? I would love to hear the experiences of anyone who did.
  3. Of course you are wrong. Plenty of wonderful, creative music exists today. You just need to look for it and the fact you haven't found any, proves you really aren't a progressive music lover.
  4. right on cue! I think you are trolling me.
  5. Shady. I'm pretty sure that's not what he indicated and I'm no aviation expert.
  6. We will soon hear that she is a SJW.
  7. Given his priors, throw him in jail with no bail. He absolutely knew what he was doing.
  8. There is a strong possibility this could have come from the MH370 simply because no 777 has ever crashed in this area. If anything it's a good opportunity to listen to those experts in aviation. I always enjoyed listening to them. Such a different mindset from politicians.
  9. I heard a great interview about Amy on CBC radio the other day and I wish I could remember who the guy was but he said when she sings a cover she re-interprets it so you feel like you are listening to it for the first time. Not many artists can do that.No other female artist has come close to Janis. Imo.
  10. She should be outraged. She bought her ticket and selected a seat. Why should she have to change it. It just doesn't make good business sense to ask her to move. Move the Jewish man, not her.
  11. I don't have a problem with this man requesting to be seated beside another man. However, I do have a problem with the flight attendant asking the woman to move to accommodate him. If he has a problem the airline shouldn't impose his seating restrictions on her. It makes good business sense to accommodate both of them but why would they be more interested in accommodating his request and causing her to move? Because she was female? This is where the airline loses in their customer service.
  12. Again. Please provide a cite as to the Kurds being targeted. You seem to be broad brushing these attacks without facts. And you keep saying we are being played like a fiddle without facts.I get what you are saying and I partially agree. But I don't tend to buy into the generalizations that you do.
  13. I'm not arguing for or against this attack by Turkey. But you need to get your facts straight. Turkey is not bombing all Kurds. Can you provide a cite that indicates all Kurds are under attack by Turkey?
  14. You should probably add some context to this. They are bombing PKK a terrorist group recognized by Turkey. Perhaps it's you being played like a fine fiddle by the media.
  15. Of course you have moved on but do you not appreciate the quality of the music you listened to as a teenager? Do you think it may have influenced you later in life?I think the music I listened to in my formative years certainly opened my mind to opinions of others and events happening around the world. It's not unlike movies that have had an impact on one's life. For example, Bruce Cockburn turned me on to environmental and social issues. To kill a mocking bird introduced me to racism. Playing for time introduced me to the holocaust. All of these events happened at a young age for me. Surely there must be some music in your teens that influenced you And of course there are some albums that are pure entertainment. Led zep introduced me to rock and roll and Robert plant
  16. Top 5, that's it guys.
  17. How can we forget Joni Mitchell. Although I had to pick my top 5!
  18. No, it can't be. Because this is the top 5 that you grew up with that resonated with you. You only grow up once.
  19. There are so many things wrong with this. Why is there no discussion on the questionnaires regarding her suicidal tendencies. Why did they not check up on her within the regulated times. They didn't check on her for over 2 hours. And also, she missed her first day on the job that she was clearly excited about. This bozo destroyed her life.
  20. This is your choice of your top 5 albums. It doesn't necessarily mean the top 5 best produced albums but the top 5 albums that have resonated with you while growing up and into adulthood. And I'm talking about 'albums' not 'singles'. Here are my top 5 and not in any particular order: Alice Cooper - School's Out David Bowie - Ziggy Stardust Led Zepplin II Bruce Cockburn - All the Diamonds in the World Gordon Lightfoot - Sundown
  21. I have lost interest in your dialogue.
