    We need to provide humanitarian aid to these refugees. It's pretty simple. It's a global crisis not a European crisis. We need to do our part.

    There are ways this act can be detected via hospitals and doctors. Wouldn't you rather protect these females to the best of our ability through whatever means. I'm not sure what your paranoia is all about and what it has to do with refugees. Canada has an obligation to provide humanitarian aid to these refugees.

    Let's consider this. Companies that develop and patent gmo seeds are the same companies that develop and patent pesticides and herbicides which these seeds are resistant to. Not only that. Monsanto is the largest seed company in the world and owns 86% of gmo seeds sown globally. They are also the parent of Roundup (they produce pesticides and herbicides). Food for thought but hopefully that food has gmo labelling.

    And it's mostly practiced by isolated communities or communities without strong literate leaders. That won't happen in Canada. But by all means let's cry 'the sky is falling'.

    They are exactly the same thing and my point is as Waldo pointed out is that honour killing is attached to Muslims when in reality, it should be called domestic violence. Domestic violence or honour killings should be attached to the perpetrators not a culture.

    Honour killing is called domestic violence in the western part of this world. There is no difference and Canada has plenty of marital killings.

    If you dig a bit deeper into Muslim leaders in Canada they do not condone violence against women and are doing probably more to educate their community against violence towards women then Canada is doing for non Muslim perpetrators.
