Infidel Dog and Taxme, Everytime I make a good logical argument about something that is shared across all political interests, why do you guys come along and poison the issue by your own propaganda sounding posts? You may be sincere (I can't tell for sure). But if you keep up the stupid references to generic conspiracies that is just as likely to have been created by the same enemy, you prevent others from taking even the logical efforts to defeat the same problems that I'm trying to help with. If you want to appeal to people broadly and NOT merely of your own political persuasion, you need to avoid references to tainted sources. While such conspiracies COULD be possible, when you express it the way you do, you FEED INTO the stereotypes you may be intending to defeat. So try arguing from your own capacity to reason rather than express the emotions. The emotional appeals are precisely what the mobs are using and have more practical power to win. They are now utilizing the Machivellian tactic that normally is used by default on the right in the free world. [Example: advertising is legal-lying that evolved FROM free market societies, not those Communist-conspiring people. As such, the only hope we all have is to avoid those who support legitimized manimpulative tactics, regardless of whether 'they' are using it too.] Logic beats emotive-only appeals. You CAN use emotive power on top of logic. But the logic has to be there first. Try to argue with logic and only use the referents to appeal by what others say if it supports the logic. Placing the emotions up front as a justification to act IS a significant tactic that hides a lack of logical appeal.1 point

The problem with Canada today is with french lieberal socialist Quebec. The french have been trying for decades to try and destroy this once great country, and they pretty much have succeeded. They have done so much harm and damage to this once great nation. With all of their useless and stupid programs and agendas like bilingualism, multiculturalism, hundreds of billions of our tax dollars blown and given away to 3rd world countries and their dictators, and flooding this country with as many immigrants that they can from the 3rd world, and has probably cost the rest of Canada trillions of their tax dollars. I am pretty much done with this country also. The country that I grew up in has pretty much now gone to the garbage dump. The leftist french pretty much own and run Ottawa. Most of our PM's in Canada have come from french Quebec. Canada will never see it's full potential as long as french Quebec has and keeps control of the economy and the growth of Canada. Quebec has always been a thorn in the rest of Canada's side. They must go now to save Canada from leftist lieberal socialism and communism, otherwise things will just get worse. It is the English speaking people in Canada, and the french controlled Ottawa that keeps Quebec from becoming another Maritime province like New Brunswick. Comrade old man and kid Trudeau have both pretty much economically destroyed Canada and Alberta today. Canada should be one of the richest countries on earth. Sadly, it is bankrupt thanks to Quebec. Alberta should be one of the wealthiest provinces in Canada, but sadly they to they are fast becoming a have not province, thanks to french controlled Ottawa and Quebec. Albertan's need to wake the hell up very soon, and separate as fast as they can from Quebec. And they must also get rid of their leftist lieberal, and their NDP socialist/communist politicians who have not helped in anyway for Alberta to see it's full potential. As long as liberalism and socialism politicians are allowed to run amok, and are allowed to ruin, and rule this Canada, the Canadian train is headed for a big derailment very soon now. Aw well, what more can be said except to feel very sad for what was once a great British/European country that is now in the hands of a bunch of french leftist liberals and socialists, both together is a recipe for disaster.1 point

I don't know any Canadian conservatives calling for reparations, wanting to defund police, or demanding more racial hiring quotas, much less more laws against 'offensive' speech.1 point

Who cares about your silly political suicide schtick, that doesn't explain away the 1000's upon 1000's of flights that carried well over a million travellers from all over the planet into America within a couple months of the so-called ban and millions more that have arrived since. Travel has never been blocked, it's merely been diverted and delayed, at best.1 point

Bah. You should hear us at curling matches or at Tim Horton's g into a speaker. Seriously that is your proof? Lol. You need a couple of hours in a pub with some Newfoundlanders. Seal killers. Then just try go ten minutes with someone from Whitehorse. Absolutely out of control. Do not even get me started about people from Wawa or Medicine Hat. Punk sobs.1 point

The dirtiest trick in the book is when liberal politicians create a bunch of low-paying, part-time, economy-draining government "jobs" just to lower the unemployment rate. Any private sector jobs are good for the economy, obviously some are better than others.1 point

Two things: 1. COVID-19 is still very much on the loose. The sight of people crowding together in those demonstrations makes me nervous. 2. We need the police. We need good people who want to work in police forces. The conversation should start there. They do work that is difficult and dangerous - for us, for our welfare. Of course, we should be open to suggestions for reform - there are lots of areas where improvement could occur - but not for the wholesale defunding of the guys who protect us.1 point

I just said that the rioting/looting/arson is a Dem/CNN phenomenon, and it absolutely is. I did not say that it had anything to do with Marxism. That's a totally separate topic and you're putting words in my mouth Rue. The two may or may not be linked, I doubt it's a useful topic for discussion, and I didn't say it. Regarding the arson, looting and rioting: if you listen to the president and their media, (let's do away with pretending that Fox isn't GOP, and CNN isn't Dem) you'll get the clear picture that rioters and looters are criminal scum and the mayors/governors need to employ the full force of the law, whatever it takes, to stop it. Their rallying cry, is stop the riots. If you listen to the Dems, Obama, and their media, the protests are great and mostly peaceful and there's no need for more protection even the morning after riots. They're not showing video of blacks and immigrants whose businesses have been destroyed, they just pour on more hatred and division every minute of the day. Their rallying cry, is get out on the streets, it's normal for a bit of damage to occur. After the Ferguson shooting CNN refused to show M Brown's violence. They kept propagating the FALSE gentle Giant narrative, which was incorrect and incediary. Obama and CNN almost never talked about an end to the rioting and looting. Their talk-time was mainly dedicated to pumping up the legitimacy of the protests. Obama was not on a crusade to stop the riots. He wasn't upset by anthem-kneeling, which was against the NFL's policies at the time, hence it constituted lawful reason for firing. Obama was making it American's highest calling to "protest". Just in case I wasn't clear, I'll say it again - the rioting, looting and arson is almost exclusively a Dem/CNN phenomenon. Support within the Dem base is moderate-to-high, as a "normal side effect of a worthwhile cause". In the GOP circles, support of rioting is close to 0%, regardless of anything else. I will hazard a guess that Obama, CNN and the Dems would be really upset if there wasn't any rioting but I don't expect any of them would admit to it.1 point

I don't know of anywhere in Canada protesters have been shot to remove them. And what force level police apply is generally a reflection of what force level people use to resist being moved. Police in Canada are not taught how to disarm a person with a weapon. They are not given much in the way of hand-to-hand combat training. They are trained to use their firearm on anyone who approaches them too closely with a weapon and refuses to stop. Most people disagree. The problem is what you do to your own body often then runs into what your body does to other people.1 point

Riiiight. “Scientists”. It’s funny how scientists are instantly discredited by everyone on the left when they say some thing that leftists don’t like, but as soon as one scientist says something that leftists like it’s carved in stone. That crap was posted here over a month ago. Theoretically, within a couple weeks of Covid being in America, “scientists” were really able to see exactly where every human in NYC got the virus from, and what race of people had it before them. Maybe the strain that infected Europeans also infected Americans at the same time. Two airplanes with infected people could’ve left Wuhan on the same day with 50 infected people on each one of them. No one knows that that’s not the case. It’s not impossible that it was people from New York that infected Europeans. The truth is that no one knows. It’s impossible to know. Anyone who pretends to know for certain just has an agenda that they’re trying to push. Why were CNN’s vaunted “scientists” so wrong about HCQ’s side-effects? It’s not like they had to research them themselves and they just made a few mistakes or anything, they could’ve just googled it. They could’ve looked at the 50-year-old studies, or all the side effects that happened when it was given to literally millions of patients over the past 40 years. Unfortunately, in the age of misinformation, the last thing that we can really do is rely on the what “scientists” tell us. Even the world health organization gets things 100% wrong and they only have to give really simple advice, that has been known for centuries. And like I said, even if somehow we stumbled onto some honest scientists and they got it right, that means that the virus got to the US from Europe, which means that Trump’s China travel ban pushed covid’s entry into the US back by about 14 days.1 point

BoJo talks tough on Hong Kong but has he really thought this through here? https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2020/jun/03/hong-kong-visas-why-is-the-uk-standing-up-to-china-now The prospect of up to three million Hong Kong Chinese arriving on an island that already has a housing crisis may not impress his Brexit supporters who thought they were about to take back control of immigration.1 point

When did Americans drop atomic bombs on Japanese? When did US and USSR face each other head-on in Cuba, and the Atlantic? When did US go on a middle eastern adventure? This is all about conflict of superpowers, not countries.1 point
