And what numbers did you give in the religious killing thread, 33% christian to 19% Muslim. Like I said, a pretty significant difference.

Considering there are many distinctions even within those religions (catholics, baptists, anglican, protestants, pentecostal, etc. for Christians and Sunni, Shiite, Yazidi, etc. for Muslims) I think you're exaggerating a bit, since you obviously don't agree with ALL Christians or ALL Muslims or ALL Jews or ALL Hindus or whatever your religion may be.

God is not big on second chances I guess.
The contrary, G-d is very big on second chances. One gets to atone once a year for their sins against G-d. One has to rectify, granted, the earthly portion of those sins, i.e. no "indulgences" for sale on Yom Kippur.
Instead of hell, it just has the benevolent hebrew God slaughtering civilizations and everyone else who generally didn't believe.
I don't know what on G-d's earth you're talking about. The Jews were directed to slaughter Amalakites, Jebusites etc. who were likely about as good neighbors as Palestinians are today. There was no prospective direction to kill infidels. Thus, you don't see Jews slamming planes into buildings.

But significantly less arrogant that saying all religions are evil and should be abandoned.

That is not that's being said. At issue is very specific dogma that for all I know (and can think of) serves no rational purpose in this age.

If it's you or them, the truth is equidistant

Second chances? God gives us 80 years to figure things out, screwing up many times along the way. Or how about 70 x 7 screw ups every day being the number of times Jesus said to forgive someone?

Even back before it became clear to me that Christian doctrine is basically ridiculous, it always seemed ludicrous that God would run a 'sudden-death' salvation lottery. What would be the point?

Obviously my humour was not recognized. I promise to place a smiley face next time.
