'Course, I'm assuming you have a job and are paying taxes for my retirement. Maybe you're unemployed and living in a parent's basement. Thank them instead.

No matter what your political beliefs are, anytime secret information about HUMIT assets gets out it is incredible dangerous to not only the operatives but also there families. Republican/Democrat or anything else, we should be appalled at this breach of security. Real people die over these things.

If you mean HUMINT, or ELINT, or SIGINT, or MASINT, or IMINT, I agree. Ms. Plame gave us none of these.

yes i mean HUMINT. I simply misspelled it. And could you two knock off the NU-HUH/UH HUH argument?

Sorry, you were caught in the drive by crossfire. Would like to accommodate your request, but sometimes one has to get in the gutter with these miscreants.

Valerie Plame ran the covert networks charged with gathering intel on Nuclear Weapons and materials - outing her put the US in far greater danger of a nuclear attack

and no former postman now claiming to be a former intelligence agent can refute that truth

She was outed by the Russians and her own CIA.This was in the early 1990's.

She was Classified but NOT undercover when she was mentioned by Novak.

You need new material.

LOLLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!

Then why is Dick Armitage NOT charged?

Dick Armitage is the diversionary scapegoat offered up by the Buschistas -- and only rightwing dupes can't see through that one.

So go ahead and put up your lollollies and your very best freeper bwahahas - by this time next year - it will be a different story and all the blind fools will be cryin in their beer --- good luck

LOLOLOLOLOL!

Dick Armitage confessed by his own self.

He is a known critic of the Bush Administration.

Try again.

The first Congressional oversight hearings on the traitorous acts of Bob Novak and a chorus of Buschistas have finally begun.

So, far, even though the first round of witnesses (aside from Ms Plame) are the farthest from it - it looks exceedingly bad for the Oval Office slugs --

some of the POTUS staff are going to jail, I believe Turd Blossom will be in that group

on the record so far? Valerie Plame/Wilson was a covert agent - further, when her name was exposed a number of highly sensitive and extremely covert efforts by the CIA were IMMEDIATELY COMPROMISED -

some of these vile political miscreants should be on trial for their very lives - and yet, they continue to have access to the most critical matters of foreign intelligence -- that speaks to a president who must be removed for failing to uphold his oath of office

You started this thread with gratitious namecalling against people who are NOT EVEN CHARGED with a crime!

Your bias is writted here in cold blood.

Meanwhile Plame was no longer undercover when the Present Administration came along.

I'll join the search for a rational post by that screen name.

If you mean Bob Novak, I never said he was charged with a crime, I said he was, 'traitorous,' and he is. Valerie Plame was, until her cover was blown by Bob Novak, a covert agent and ran a number of covert operations which were also compromised by Bob Novak and the White House senior staff members who exposed her as an act of political retribution toward her husband.

None of the denials of the right wing are true. The treasonous exposing of Valerie Plame as a CIA agent essentially killed America's progress in containing nuclear proliferation, worldwide. Shame on you clowns fore even trying to defend the buschista criminal gang.

LOL,

Would being a traitor a criminal act?

NONE OF THE WHITE HOUSE STAFF WAS CHARGED OF ANY CRIME CONCERNING PLAME!

Why did Fitzgerald Not charge anyone for allegedly outing her?

By the way she was not outed by Novak because she was not a covert agent and has not been one since the mid 1990's.

She is a CLASSIFIED agent.

Not covert.

Shame on you for not following real events.

so, it is your position that since they didn't charge themselves with crimes means the buschistas didn't commit any? -- can't get more subserviently doltish than that

and the "real events," show that she was not just a covert operative but a controller for several covert networks which were also exposed and thus, killed. Further, those networks were America's front line against terrorist nuclear activities.

as for Fitzgerald, why don't you look up what he said about why he couldn't charge anyone ---- the White House coverup effort has been so all pervasive that it took all those months just to confirm the coverup --- at this time, Scooter Libby is facing 25 years for his participation in the cover-up --- finally, as Fitzgerald also notes, they didn't engage in a criminal obstruction of justice to cover-up nothing ---

Bottom line, those guys are criminals, their crimes are now, tiny piece by tiny piece coming out in oversight hearings and ongoing investigations

nothing you whiney little dupes can say or do will change the fact that the CIA reported a criminal exposure of one of it's agents

and one little bit of info that came out in Waxman's hearing was that despite all of Bush's posturing about throwing out anybody in the WH who was involved and how he was so anxious to find out who was involved in the matter, the White House conducted no investigation whatsoever ---- in the face of all of Shrub's posturing and proclaiming on the matter -- why? The first and most obvious answer is, he never really needed any investigation to know what went on, he was just as much a part of this treason as the rest are.

Cheney went after Plame seemingly, because he couldn't stand the truth coming out

Baltimore Sun

...

In her opening statement, Plame made it clear that she has been waiting for a chance to confront critics. At one point she scoffed that her identity was "not common knowledge on the Georgetown cocktail circuit," as some have whispered in Washington in an effort to play down the damage of the disclosure of her identity.

She said she has been on secret foreign missions within the past five years and was under cover when her name appeared in a newspaper column by Robert Novak in 2003.

Plame also came prepared to settle scores with the Bush administration, which carried out a campaign to discredit her husband, former Ambassador Joseph C. Wilson IV, after he surfaced as a potent critic of the case for war.

"We in the CIA always know we might be exposed by foreign enemies," Plame said. "It was a terrible irony that administration officials were the ones who destroyed my cover."

Plame was accompanied by two former CIA colleagues, who said that Wilson and the couple's children were traveling in the western United States. Wilson and Plame recently purchased a home in Santa Fe, N.M., after selling their Washington property for a reported $1.8 million.

Wilson, 57, has published a memoir, and Plame has written a book, Fair Game, that is undergoing a CIA review to prevent disclosure of classified information.

The hearing by the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, was ostensibly meant to assist lawmakers in drafting improved procedures for safeguarding classified information. Its unacknowledged purpose was to give a platform to one who had been a mystery figure in a scandal bearing her name.

Plame offered only a general outline of her 20-year career at the CIA, saying that she was working in the counter-proliferation division of the agency - a branch devoted to tracking the global spread of illicit weapons - when her identity was exposed.

But for the first time, she offered her version of the chronology leading up to that breach.

Plame said that in early 2002 she was approached by "a young junior officer" who was "very upset" after getting a call from the office of Vice President Dick Cheney asking about a report that Iraq had tried to buy uranium from the African nation of Niger.

Plame characterized the call as part of a broader effort by Cheney to pressure the CIA, a charge that Cheney, as well as senior CIA officials who were present at the agency at the time, have denied.

Bush administration officials later claimed that Plame had proposed sending her husband to Niger to investigate, casting the trip as a junket. But Plame insisted: "No. I did not recommend him, I did not suggest him, there was no nepotism involved."

Instead, Plame said, the idea was proposed by another officer in her division and her only role was to ask her husband whether he would be interested.

...

the bottom line now is, if Bush wants to prove Valerie Plame was not covert, was not running the clandestine operations to track nuclear materials and nuclear weapons --- he can put her behind bars for perjuring herself in sworn testimony before Congress ---- it isn't happening, it won't happen, WHY???? she is telling the truth, she was a covert agent working on the most sensitive area of US foreign intelligence and her cover and her operations were exposed by Cheney, Bush, Novak and the rest of the fascist slugs

and some real pathetic clowns continue a sad effort to defend the treasonous bastards now occupying the Oval Office
